Having issue with with answer text changing after publishing. See here. Shuffling of answers is on.All answers have the same styling: Tahoma, Regular, Size 20, Left position, middle alignment, Spacing 1,3 pt Anybody knows solution?

Hi,  I have built a lesson with custom pretest which have questions covering 2 lesson and as they complete 10 question  if they score less that 70 they get the lesson material to study with maximum incorrect response . My problem is the page that displays the score and lesson buttons. If a learner refreshes or session times out . Then SCREEN displays totalscore = 0 and they now have to complete both lessons. I am not sure how to store/stick the value. I am using two user variable to identify the lesson and system variable to display score. Please help.

Good morning, I want to use a "Dropdown" learning interaction but I have seen that it is not possible to increase the font size to more than 14 points (attached screenshot). Does anyone know if modifying the code of some .css or .js file in possible?Thank you very much in advance

I'm working on creating a quiz.  Is there a way to update the format (i.e. font, coloring, etc) for all slides at once or do I have to make the changes on each individual slide?Secondly, there is a Review Area on the quiz with language "You must answer the question before continuing."  Can this be changed to allow users to move freely through the exam?

I have several captivate presentations.  What I want to do is to put a topic list at the end of each presentation.  So when they are done, if they want to revisit a topic they click on a button and it jumps them back to that slide.  This is straight forward.   But on each slide I want a button that takes them back to the topic list at the end of the presentation, so that they do not have to go through the entire presentation again.  Again, I know how to do this, but what I do not know how to do, is how can I make the button on each slide not to show up until the last slide of the presentation has been seen.  What I don't want to do is have the back to topic slide present the first time they go through it so that they cannot skip sections or the entire presentation.  Is this possible? So basically once they have viewed the presentation completely, they have the ability to jump back and forth from the topic list page to anywhere in the presentation

Gentlefolk,I am creating a training project with a goal of having the content viewable with a quiz for those users who need credit for the course, and the same content viewable without a quiz for those who don't need credit. The user would self-select to take the quiz or not take the quiz and see only the content. Playing with cpQuizInfoAttempts will be useful for those who want to take the quiz again upon first-attempt failure. But I don't know the system variable that would control the ability to turn off the reporting function. I assume there is one.... can a project default to report to the LMS but have a variable that will turn OFF that function for those who just want to take the test? I don't want people who opt to just view the content be dinged in the LMS record for a failure in training  because the user never intended to answer  questions. The workflow would be:IntroUser selects: Quiz and record or no quiz and content onlyQuiz path - content dis

Is it possible to move objects (text box in this case) on the screen (change the X and Y value) using JS?I've tried changing the CSS value sof those objects (top and left) but it doesn't seems to work...Thanks.

Hi!I have a quite annoying issue concerning user variables and conditional advanced actions.I want to show/hide an object (IB_Teamdynamik). I use a variable to track the status shown/hidden (IB_Teamdynamik). When I click on "Save advanced action", the variables are simply kicked out of the advanced action. I use the VERY same advanced actions with other objects where it works perfectly fine - deleting preferences didn't change anything.Happy to hear from the pros out there what I am doing wrong.Thank youall the best- Reinhard

I created a video demo, saved it as CPVC. I opened a new Captivate (CPTX) and inserted the CPVC video (insert-->CPVC slide-->inserted CPVC thatI created). It will play in Captivate but when I preview in SCORM cloud the video is blank, the remaining slides will present. It's a bit frustrating. 

I am frustrated with Adobe as yesterday two of their techs remoted in and "fixed" my problem with CS6.Today I find I have a problem with Captivate which gives me a bizarre error and tells me to "download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager - which gives a 404 error.Aside from my frustration with Adobe what can I do about this please?ThanksDave

HiI'm new to Captivate 2019 and am trying to record a software simulation slide, but am unable to change the recording area to fir my window. For some reason, the options set custom capture area just isnt available. Please help. Vivek

I have captivate file and I want to display assests in sync with the audio file. I have this all set up on the timeline but when I run the preview none of the assets that are timed to come in at certian intervals are not showing. When I use the play preview at the bottom of the time line it works perfectly but when I export it or preview it, they don't display.  Any one any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance, Fergal

Hi, I would appreciate help with fixing this alignment issue on Question slide.Doesn't matter if I set Single or Multiple answers to be correct, last one is not aligned as the other answers are: I checked font, size and everything, but it appears to be same for all the questions: What could be the case?Thank you in advance.Jovana

Good day everyone, Hoping you will be abblet to assist.I have a simple action that works in the HTML testing but not on Scorm cloud testing or the LMS.Learner clicks button, pdf opens in new window and downloads.On the LMS, the project jumps back to the start. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here at the most basic level, but after a couple hours of searching I can't seem to find an answer.We're making a lot of simple four-question, MC quizzes that are interspersed within other content in our learning modules.  I -don't- want to give the students the correct/incorrect/rationale text during the quiz, only after if they choose to go back and Review upon completion.Is this possible?  I can't sort it out, I'm only able to make the 'why the correct answer is correct' text appear in-quiz, not in-review.Thanks!

Hello!So I made a custom TOC using advanced actions. First time using advanced actions. Also changed the .ini file to allow objects to show on a slide with a web object. Everything works except that when I click on the button to show the topics and associated timeline location, I cannot click on the web object. Originally I had the topic object as a hidden object set to show based off of a couple advanced actions. Troubleshooting, I added the topic object to a state for the button. Either way, the result is the same, I cannot click on the web object. None of the other objects interfere with the web objects except the topic object and this issue is consistant across similarly structured slides. Any help would be appreciated! I can share whatever is needed.

Hi All,I have a captivate project that I need translated into 7 languages that has a language selection menu on the first slide. I managed to find a tutorial on Google which led me to use the export project captions and closed captions option in captivate and then to update all the text with the new languages.In the tutorial I found, it shows that when he imports the updated word file the new captions are imported on top of the original text, however when I import my updated text it just replaces the original text with the new text... why does double clicking a slide close the captivate application and loss of work as it does not save?

Can I copy a text from a presentation in Powerpoint placed under notes and paste as a slide note in Adobe Captivate?I'm not looking on transferring the slide presentation but JUST the notes (copy/paste)

Hello, I have a Submit button and the button text is top-aligned by default. Is there a way to set verticle alignment to middle? I don't see this option under button Properties menu. Thank you. 

皆さんこんにちは。初めまして。 現在Adobe Captivate2019を使用しています。 表題の通り、PowerPointで作成したスライドのアニメーションに連動したCaptivateでナレーション（音声）をつけたいのですが、方法知っている方いませんか。やはり、PowerPointで作成したアニメーションは、PowerPointでしか修正できないのでしょうか。現状は、PowerPointスライドをAdobe Captivateで読み込み、Captivateでスライドのノートに記載した文章を音声として生成して、スライドに音声を付けています。しかし、HTML5で確認しすると、アニメーションが動いている時のみ音声が再生され、アニメーションが終わると音声も停止してしまします。（1スライドに複数のアニメーションを付けているので、音声がとぎれとぎれになってしまいます。）Captivateで作成したアニメーションに、音声を付けて連動させることは実現できました。しかし、PowerPointで作成したアニメーションに音声を付けたいと考えています。何か方法を知っている方がいましたら、教えていただけませんでしょうか。 よろしくお願いいたします。 

Hi, I have an issue that is frustrating and I cannot find solution so far, so I need some help.I am using Captivate 2019 amd creating interactive elearning materials using Recording -> Video Demo with custom resolution of 1680*945, that is the size of application window I am recording.Slide is created as CPVC file, actually I created around 30 slides (with interactive buttons inserted in them) and when I publish all of them are OK except ONE.One slide is published as corrupted MP4 file with size of 0kb. Slide is working fine inside Captivate but when published it is not working.All slides are created in the same way, and I cannot find why is that happening.Does anybody have any idea how to fix that? I want to use cpvc slide without the need to rerecord it again.
