Captivate

Hello, I have a Submit button and the button text is top-aligned by default. Is there a way to set verticle alignment to middle? I don't see this option under button Properties menu. Thank you. 

皆さんこんにちは。初めまして。 現在Adobe Captivate2019を使用しています。 表題の通り、PowerPointで作成したスライドのアニメーションに連動したCaptivateでナレーション（音声）をつけたいのですが、方法知っている方いませんか。やはり、PowerPointで作成したアニメーションは、PowerPointでしか修正できないのでしょうか。現状は、PowerPointスライドをAdobe Captivateで読み込み、Captivateでスライドのノートに記載した文章を音声として生成して、スライドに音声を付けています。しかし、HTML5で確認しすると、アニメーションが動いている時のみ音声が再生され、アニメーションが終わると音声も停止してしまします。（1スライドに複数のアニメーションを付けているので、音声がとぎれとぎれになってしまいます。）Captivateで作成したアニメーションに、音声を付けて連動させることは実現できました。しかし、PowerPointで作成したアニメーションに音声を付けたいと考えています。何か方法を知っている方がいましたら、教えていただけませんでしょうか。 よろしくお願いいたします。 

Hi, I have an issue that is frustrating and I cannot find solution so far, so I need some help.I am using Captivate 2019 amd creating interactive elearning materials using Recording -> Video Demo with custom resolution of 1680*945, that is the size of application window I am recording.Slide is created as CPVC file, actually I created around 30 slides (with interactive buttons inserted in them) and when I publish all of them are OK except ONE.One slide is published as corrupted MP4 file with size of 0kb. Slide is working fine inside Captivate but when published it is not working.All slides are created in the same way, and I cannot find why is that happening.Does anybody have any idea how to fix that? I want to use cpvc slide without the need to rerecord it again.

 My Gujarati language's font are working fine in your website but in actual projects it dose not work and text changes automatically.How to solve this proble? Without this solution this product is useless for me...!!!

Hi,Even though I have been using CP19 for many monthsin a row now for some reason, since yesterday it wants me to login and then says "update required" so it won´t start.I have updated to IE 11 (which I never used and I doubt is still in use anyway as there is Microsoft Edge..) but that did not help.Why is this happening?Any tips?Thank you!

Hi, is there any additional setting for this? When I package single SCOs in 2004 4th Edition, Multi SCO Packager 2019 still produces the SCORM 3rd edition output.

My organization uses Captivate for building our assessments, and the assessment template is fed by the GIFT import.  When I am on the Master Slide for the Question, I can easily find the smartshapes for Success, Failure, and Hint, as well as the Review Area... but I cannot find the smartshape for "Retry Shape".(this image was grabbed from the filmstrip) This shape (the Retry Shape) appears on the filmstrip when questions are populated, because I have the Quiz Settings set to allow for 2 attempts, and I need the Retry message to appear if they dont get it right. (below).   When the shape appears (after these settings are established on the slide), it appears completely unformatted, and with such small print that it can barely be read.   This is a problem.  I need to format and set the parameters for the shape so that it matches the formatting of the rest of the assessment, but the only time it appears is when I see it on the populated questio

Gentlefolk,I am trying to correct an issue with a Captivate 2019 / 11.5.1.499 release.The project is comprised of imported PowerPoint slides.  When the project is previewed From This Slide, the project displays normally. When the project is previeeed in HTML5 Browser, the outlines of the text boxes appear, but the text within the boxes does not appear. When the project is exported to a ZIP file and reviewed on ReviewLink, the text does not appear in their respective boxes. When the project is exported out unzipped and played, the text does not display in their respective boxes. I don't have access right now to the original PowerPoints. I have unchecked any compression settings:- Advanced Project Compression- Compress SWF File- Rescale Imported / Pasted Slide- Size and Quality - changed from Custom JPEG 80% to HIGH None of these have any effect. After updating to Captivate 2019, I've been updating some of my courses. With the same screens captured, the same audio added and the same settings, my file sizes have ballooned. One file has changed from 54MB to 1.2GB. This is obviously ridiculous, has anyone else encountered this problem?

I am using Captivate 2019.What is the significance of this folder?\Documents\Adobe Captivate Cached ProjectsThere are some folders/files that get created here and consume a lot of disk space. Should one retain them or delete them occassionally? Any suggestions?

After much trial and arror and a three-hour chat session with Adobe, I've learned that I CANNOT access Adobe fonts using my CC license. Well, I DO have a CC license but not one complete enough to qualify for getting access to Adobe fonts. My CC account is for Captivate and Media Encoder only. That's not enough to get Adobe fonts, even though when I go through my Creative Cloud interface, and get access to browse thousands of fonts, there are only a few, apparently, that I can download. Why couldn't chat help tell me with this in the first place? And more importantly, why doesn't Adobe prevent me from going down that path, as if I can't really get those fonts? I DO have a separate CC account that DOES have access to all the Adobe fonts, but Captivate is NOT part of that account.  It's likely, that most Captivate developers also have an all-apps CC Adobe subscription as well, so they won't experience this pain. Now, the only recourse left is to BUY an Adobe Captivate

We keep getting this issue when opening capitvate files we've worked on in the past, or from clients. I didn't see any recent posts about this one, so wondering if there is a resoluntion to this issue?

I am using a late 2013 MBP with 16GB RAM, and the latest version of Adobe Captivate downloaded with my Creative Cloud subscription, but I consistently find that Adobe Captivate runs especially slow. Enough to hinder my day-to-day workflow.I've noticed that it will only use a max of 3GB of RAM, and doesn't seem to be taking advantage of the full capabilities of the CPU, as my CPU % sits at around 15-20, even while performing presumably resource-intensive tasks. I could understand if it was maxing out the CPU and performing poorly, because at least it was using all the resources it could to try and deliver the best performance. But it is laggy and slow without even using the resources available to it.Does anyone know if you can adjust the RAM or CPU allocation settings for Adobe Captivate? I've used other software that performed poorly before, but I was able to adjust the settings for how many resources I allocated to it, and saw great performance gains. As an example

I want to get the most out of Captivate and am always curious about new tips and tricks. My understanding is Captivate is for the creation of media that will be consumed by single users (for example in an LMS or on a website). Are there any examples of Captivate-created content that has been used with live audience particiaption? 

Hi everybody,iam using the last update 11.5.5.676 of Captivate 2019 on an iMac updated to the new MacOS 11 Big Sur. It looks like there is a big problem to show the correct layout preview window. If you use the responsive view-slider or change from 100% to optimal or lower or bigger. The desktop freaks out 😞 Is this a known issue? 

Hi! I work on Captivate 2019, version 11.5.5.553. I have a problem with the Matching question slide. Everytime I add one, Captivate crashes automatically. If I try and add a matching question slide and another question slide, it doesn't crash, but I cant view the matching question slide. If you look at the picture joined with this post, I have the Matching question slide selected on the left side of the screen, but I still have the True False question slide on the right side of the screen and it never changes. (I sometimes have a similar problem with result slides in other projects) Anyone ever had that problem? What should I do?  

I have a project in Adobe Captivate 2019 v 11.5.5.553 with some external hyperlinks, when I preview it in Captivate they work fine. However, when I imported the zip file into SCORM Cloud and published, the hyperlink does not work as expected, every time I clicked on them it closed the course.Thank you for your help.

I purchased a new license for adobe captivate, logged in... and the adobe license agreement appeared. I click accept, but it closes the app and goes back to the contract screen, looping all the time. Already tried: - AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE and delete _LicenseAgreement - Uninstall all adobe apps, clear registry keys, clear temp, clear userdata, restart and reinstall.. - When installing , it asks for a login and password... it validates and returns to this screen... I click on accept... it closes the application and returns to this screen.nothing worked! Need help!  

How can I embed a LinkedIn Learning video in a Captivate course? I have an embed iframe code set from the video, but I don't know where to put it in Captivate.

When I record and then play a module using the PC speakers, it sounds great regardless of volume level. When I record and then play a module wearing headphones, there is a low buzzing noise (electrical hum) in the background the entire time (regardless of which headphones I use or what volume level I have set). Any ideas on how to solve this (as I do not know whether my users will be using headphones or not). Thanks in advance,

Hello there, Is there any body here who has experiencied troubles by reloading content in an iframe once the slide has been reloaded too?.I have created my own control bar (rewind, play, reload, foward) and specifically for the reload button I used two techniques:1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmyF4_Ywge82. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFrJut_Ve3c&t=2s In any case if I have an iframe into the slide, the content inside the iframe is reloading. I'm using Century Gothic in a number of variables and they all display correctly in published projects as long as the font is installed on the computer where the published project is opened - both Mac and Windows machines.. This works fine in both the Chrome and Firefox browsers but NOT in Safari. I've tried several things, including the methods well detailed here: https://sepyle.medium.com/use-any-font-in-adobe-captivate-when-publishing-in-html5-8b03d2cabd7 Even when the Century Gothic font is installed on a Mac, it will display fine in Chrome but not in Safari. Instead, the default Helvetica font is used. There must be more to do to force the Century Gothic font to display correctly as dynamic text (from variables) in Safari.  Any ideas would be most helpful. Thank you! Charlie

Hi, the issue started a few weeks ago when Adobe added the ability to choose a profile when signing in. See, we have two accounts. One is a Team account named “Instruments Isaac” that is hosting Acrobat, Photoshop, etc, and another one is a VIP account named “ISAAC instruments” that is hosting Captivate alone. I have a few users that use both Captivate and other Adobe products, that are not hosted on the same account. The problem is that they can't be signed into both accounts at the same time, so every time they need to use Captivate, they'll need to signout from their account, sign back in, choose the proper profil to use Captivate, but when they'll need to use Acrobat DC, for exemple, they'll have to sign out of Captivate, so they can sign into the other account and start using Acrobat DC. I've tried to consolidate both accounts, but since one is a Team account and other one is a VIP, Support told me that it couldnt be done. The other thing I've tried is to host
