Hello Captivate Team, My images are getting blurred while inserting them. These images are licensed one from the Adobe Stock. As per my knowledge the images shouldn't get blurred as these are downloaded in high quality from your authorized App (Adobe stock). Please Assist us. 

Hi,Is it possible to get Captivate 6 to publish out using HTTP-based AICC/CMI, as was done in Captivate 4? We seem to be running issues with our Juniper network appliance and the way Captivate 6 implements its AICC communication. Captivate 4 lessons work fine.Jody

Hello everyone,I've been using Captivate 12.5 for 3 months, and I find that everything is very slow.First, please note that I use other software like 3DS Max, After Effects, and Premiere Pro on the same PC. So, I doubt it's a hardware issue.Regarding Captivate, even within the interface, everything is sluggish, with a lot of latency between my actions and when Captivate responds.Also, when I publish my project, the synchronization is off. Elements appear randomly, and there is always a noticeable delay.I haven't changed any of the software's default settings.What could be causing this?Thank you in advance for your help.See you soon.

I downloaded a trial of the latest version of Captivate to my Mac running Sonoma 12.5. Everything works great until I go to save my file, and then it just spins. It is stuck. I had to force quit more than once and lost everything each time. I currently have it spinning on save, and am about to lose everything again. Not a great trial experience that is going to make me start a subscription...unless I am missing something. The save dialog comes up, I try to save it to my local Documents folder, and then nothing happens. I have not made one successful save. Am I missing something? Is this a known issue?  

hello fellow Classic Users:I've run into an unusual snag; I have added a series of objects to a screen, including text, shapes, Adobe Stock icons & images (licensed), and a button.I want to group them together so that I can have a different button change their status from hidden to visible.Unexpectedly, the Group function is greyed out.I was able to group one default shape and a button, but I am unable to add other objects to that group.  Even more surprisingly, I have a couple of text objects that refuse to group.I exited the app and re-opened my working file, but I am getting the same error...and a quick web search yeilded no useful results.Anyone else experienced this with Classic (on WinOS)

Running Captivate 12.5 on Windows 11 and it is basically unusable for me. Here's why:1) I can only create Blank slides. If I select any other kind of slide when adding a new slide, it doesn't create it.2) I cannot add any new element of any kind to any slide, whether it's a new/blank slide or a previously existing slide. I can copy paste and I can edit things that are already in my slides, but that's all I can do.

Hello,I created a very basic survey with interactive components in Captivate 12.5. I set each component's reporting to "include in quiz" and "report to LMS." When I previewed the project from Captivate, it worked fine. However, when I set up Reporting in Preferences and published it (SCORM 1.2), it did not work in SCORM Cloud. Also, when I returned to the project to preview it again after publishing, the preview no longer worked. Can anyone help me sort this out?Thanks!

Hi there, I need a little help or I will become crazy, I'm trying to do an interactive video adding overlays, the problem is that the next button in the overlays didn't respond all the times, all the other interactions in this overlays woks just fine, but the next buttom that should resume the timeline must of the times decided not to work.  I have to click on it continuesly until it decided to work. I also noticed that when the timelime reach the bookmark, not all the times stopped the video. I tried to fix this error adding a action that stopped the timeline, it worked for the timeline but the button isn't resuming it.  I don't know if this is a bug or something, someone has any insights about this? 

Hello all,I've had any issue after updating to Captivate 12.5, I haven't been able to add *any* blocks or features other than create a new blank slide.Text, video, button, etc. I've gone through them all when nothing happens when I click on one to add. The only button that works is the 'add slide' which creates a new blank one. I also opened up some projects that I made in 12.4 and have the same issue. Restarted my laptop multiple times and nothing has worked.I've emailed the help email for Captivate multiple times and haven't gotten a response so I wanted to post here to see if anyone has run into the same issue or had a possible solution.Thanks

I'm a long time user of Captivate, though it has been about 2 years since my last project. I just installed the new Captivate 12.5. After getting comfortabvle with he new recording mechanisms, I've got 2 projects to work on. My style is to record, then watch back and take notes, and hide or delete slides before editing anything. I have my Mac mouse set as a PC mouse, so I can left and right click. Right clicking no longer offers me the option to hide a slide.  So how the heck do we do that?   And why is there no ribbon or any tools beneath the title bar?Thx!

Dear Community, I am trying to create a SCORM 1.2 with Adobe Captivate 12.3.0.12.This course is very simple, I only want to include 1 video in 1 slide. The video is 382 seconds long, for this I have set the preferences -> slide duration - 382 seconds.Reporting, I have the current settings as attached screenshot.When I uploded to the LMS system (SabaCloud) and checked, I watched the whole video and the course stayed as not evaluated.Is there maybe an other option, to include some hidden button, or something that when is viewed, that is when the system would mark the course as completed?Other question, under the reporting, the slide views percentage is based on how many seconds is the slide?Can someone help me, how can I set this up, so the LMS mark it as completed? Thanks a lot!

When entering Closed Caption for the learnings, Captivate 19 will allow me to enter the text and time it correctly, but then the system will erase my verbiage and resplace with the text "Enter the Closed Caption Text" but keep the proper timing. I though it was because I was copying and pasting text from Word, but then the same issue happened when I typed in each word. It is very random and for one of my learnings showed the proper text all the way through and then repeated "Enter the Closed Caption Text" 10 times in a row, then picked right back up with the normal text. Any help out there? 

In Captvate 12.5, how do I place a PDF (as a web object) and a video wall (with 1 video selected), adjacent to each other, instead of being vertically aligned? At present, the slide looks like this:  

Hello. Is anyone else having this issue? I have played around with it so many times and when I think its fixed I have someone else test it and it is happening again. The scenario is as follows:  I have a input field for the end users to put in text and hit enter to move forward. I have disabled hint and correct answer pop-ups. When an end users clicks on the input field the failure pop-up triggers. It should only trigger if the end user inputs the wrong text. No click boxes on this screen either. Just the input field. At one point I was removing the input field, saving the simulation, clearing my cache, restarting, putting the input field back in (seems to save it as it was orginally added to the simulation even when i clear my cache) test it with successful results, saving it, testing again with successful results - giving it to someone else to test - and having the failure pop-up appear on the first click in the input field.  Its not an end all but it makes t

A little backstory here...I was using Captivate with no issues (so I thought) on my Mac. I discovered issues when I published my content and uploaded it to Adobe Learning Manager. After working with the support team, they realized that I had upgraded my Mac OS to Sonoma. I should have checked the Captivate system requirements before upgrading the OS, but I didn't. The Adobe Support Team informed me that I would need to downgrade my OS back to Ventura since Captivate was not yet supported on Sonoma and that would explain the issues with my published content. My other option was to switch to a Windows based PC. I chose option 2 and transferred all of my .cpt files to a Windows computer. I worked on the windows PC for about a month and decided that I would rather downgrade my Mac (I just prefer Macs--I know they aren't for everyone!) I got my Mac successfully downgraded back to Ventura and started the process of moving my .cpt files back to my Mac. Hello I have used the character and text box slide a few times in an emodule and it gives me the same default character of a woman everytime.  When i try and select a different character, I only ever have options of real looking people as opposed to a library of similar illustrated versions.  I like the default one it provides, but there doesn't appear to be ay options for having a similar style of illustrated character. Does anyone know if there are more options available? Thanks Sarah

what happens to the data if we do not subscribe to it a month- can the data be retained or it needs to be backed up?

I'm on Captivate 12.4, and when I try to use the share for review, I get an error saying "An error has occurred. Please try again." after clicking Create review. I've been trying since yesterday. Is there any way to fix this from my end?

Using Captivate 9Using a drag and drop interaction.Coming into a slide, I have audio playing. When I start the interaction, I have audio that is triggered in the drag and drop. How can I stop the main audio from playing once I have triggered the drag and drop audio?

Hi,  I have just installed Adobe Creative (paid version). The problem is that when I try to save any work, the system goes in circles for ages, not allowing me to save my project. I need to force quit Captivate, but when I try again the situation repeats itself. I have installed the update to my system and now I'm on use macOS Sequoia 15.3 but I'm still not able to save any project. I uninstalled and reinstalled Captivate but the problem didn't go away. Any ideas how I can save my work without this issue?  Any help will be appreciated. 

All thanks in advance for your help.My organization is attempting to transition our content away from storage on our LMS to storage on our own servers and using the LMS to launch and report. We are trying to publish in AICC. Almost everything works great, we can upload the course to our content server, we can upload the course using AICC, and we can launch the course from our LMS. When the course launches, we get the following error on both courses we have attempted this with: "ERROR - LMS did not return a valid status code. Press 'OK' to view debug information to send to technical support." When I click 'OK', I get a blank window with no HTML at all.We are using the Kenexa LMS and Captivate 8.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.Jeremy
