Good evening, I have a big problem. I'm using Captivate from many years to realize E-Learning courses for Docebo E-Learning platform. I have to convert many file creating in SWF to HTML5, to delete flash. These files were created by importing POWER POINT. Captivate can convert file SWF in HTML5 but on the platform the course stucks because the transitions imported by POWER POINT don't go. How can I do? Now I'm using the last release of Captivate. Hello,We are converting our old learning content over to be just HTML5 only, however, it is not tracking in our LMS. I do have a support case with the LMS, but I was hoping you awesome people cpild look at my publishing output to verify I have things set correctly for straight HTML5 scorm tracking.

I'm working with a responsive file and I've got an image in a fluid box with click boxes over specific parts of it. When I change the device size, the fluid boxes move and do their thing, but the click boxes stay where they were regardless of layout size. How do I get them to be grouped with the photo and follow the photo? or is this not possible? 

Hello - I use Captivate 2019 Release. On the Adobe.com accessibility best practices page, it gives instructions to add a decription to a movie slide ("...select the appropriate slide. Choose Slide > Properties. Click the Accessibility button.") However, these directions don't seem to be applicable to my version of Captivate. I don't see an options for Slide > Properties. I do see an option for Accessibility from the hamburger icon in the slide Properties pane, is that the correct way to add the description?

The error message is:The Akamai Download Manager has encountered an fatal error: Access Denied

I am working in Captivate and have created a quiz.After a user completes the quiz, I need to capture their detailed quiz results (i.e. Question 1, users response, correct.incorrect) and total score of each user.I need to capture all events of quiz through XAPI. Can you please show me How to integrate events in Adobe Course . Is there any other way to get this information?

HiSetup:Windows 10 ProCaptivate 2019 v11.5.5.553Responsive HTML5 Project with images and text in fluid boxes I am trying to provide a client with handouts to review materials in a manner similar to slide notes. I have followed the official guide titled "How to publish Captivate Projects to Microsoft Word" found here https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/using/microsoft-word.html Unfortunately, the images look extremely bad. Items are moved around and some are scaled up and/or offscreen. This feature seems completely unusable. Can anyone advise on why this export looks so bad?Below is a comparison. Sadly it is not the worst one. In Project and in Browser:In Exported Word Document Can anyone provide advice on how this can be corrected? I have tried different print options without any real difference. Any help/tips would be appreciated. And let me know if support is where this issue should go. It just seems completely broken and unusable. 

Hello,I'm having issues adding Vimeo videos to my slides.  I get a message that says: Unable to insert the Video due to:1. The URL may  be incorrect2. The video may be private3. Streaming may be unavailable for the video Or sometimes it will just say: Video encountered an internal error. I've tried this with multiple random Vimeo videos.  It will load to 100%, and then I will see one of the above error messages.  Has anyone else had this problem? Also as a side question, my understanding is that it is impossible to add closed captioning to youtube and Vimeo vids through Captivate, is that correct?  

Just in case anyone else like me has been unable to log into the forums here (not the really confusingly named e-learning Community available from Captivate), finding that you are asked to sign in but are automatically redirected back to the community page, the solution is to change your "Adobe Screen Name" under your profile.I hope this might save anyone else the time spent and frustration I have experienced in trying to resolve this!

Hi  all, just thought I'd share this bug? workaround. I've been getting an X appear in Text Entry Boxes in HTML preview, BUT if I tick the 'show scrollbar' (In Action - others) it's no longer there. I think the X for the user would think they were inputting an incorrect answer.          

Hi all,Re: Captivate 2019 11.5.1.499  html5 publish: "Continue from where you stopped last time not showing" dialogue not showing correctly. I cannot see where to fix this. Any direction much appreciated.Picture attached.

Hello to everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to insert in Captivate a progresse bar (disabling the default one) with js code, pointing a html/css file for more customization. On internet I saw that only the progress bar from Cluelabs is working.. 

Hi everyone, I have published the captivate course with captivate's phonegap publish option. It's published and gave QR code to download the application. But when i scanned the QR code with scanner on my mobile it throws some message saying"No application packages have been built at this time.This may mean that they are in the process of building, or that the developer has not issued a build yet. Please check back again later."So, I can't able to download the application. Anyone knows how to get rid of this? Would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Our team using Adobe Captivate to produce eLearning course for a while. Recently after company's security patch updated, all our teammates are not able to publish HTML5 course by using company laptop. It always says "Not Responding" and we are not able to end this task even by Tasks Manager and the only way to restart Adobe Captivate is to restart our laptop. Our IT team looking for the reason for the crash but no clue would like to know if anyone experienced the same in your organization.

I pulled up Captivate this morning, and the interactive video option in the toolbar is not appearing. It was appearing a few days ago, so I'm not sure what's going on. I have version 9.0.2.437. I checked to make sure all my updates are current.

I have created a project (not responsive) and would like to use three pictures and flip them to view text. If I make the picture a button, when I try to preview the slide, Captivate reports 'Slides or objects are not supported in SWF and the project will be published without the unsupported items.'I tried to import Flip Cards Captivate Asset slide into my project but I am unable to swap the existing pictures with mine, or change the size of what looks a placeholder.Please can anyone suggest a relatively simple way to achieve this.

I was told by a collegue that the Captivate trial has been extended to 90 days due to Covid19. Is this true? I just started to sign up for a trial and I only saw a 30-day option. I am trying to sign up in Canada, perhaps it's a different situation in the US?

I've created a multi row HDR Panorama that I really like and want to keep. My problem occurs when I select Merge and I get the error message " Merge Error, unable to merge ".

Hi.Let's say I want to create a quick tutorial on how to register in an app/website. It should consist of a couple of screens with a mouse cursor moving, as well as a small popup window with additional information here and there.This seems to be a pretty good job for Adobe Animate, right? I just paste the screenshots there, use an animation tween for the cursor and give it some easing so that it's smoother, show every now and then the popup with the extra information, and that's it.Is there a good reason to use Captivate for this task instead? I don't really want to record the registration process directly as a video, as I seem to have more control if I compose this manually.Thank you for any advice

I am creating a project in Captivate 2019 (64bit). This is being built on a stand-alone system i.e. it is not connected to the internet for security reasons. For these same reasons, I cannot record audio as I cannot attach a microphone. I can capture audio-only narrative in my Captivate Draft which is connected to my personal Adobe account through the internet. I do not have a personal subscription to Captivate.   With the project I am building on the stand-alone work computer, I cannot drop the audio from this personal account directly into the project. Is there another way of retrieving the audio captured on Captivate Draft slides saved to the Adobe account so it can be saved to CD / DVD for transfer to the project?   

Good mornig - Are any of the 2019 templates created with 508 compliance in mind?  I was wondering about using branching in a project where the learner would choose a path with less interactivity.  I would still try to keep the experience equal as much as possible.  thanks,Dianne

I am creating a VR course for my company. In that context I would like to take colleagues from personalised Hotspot to personalised Hotspot. I would like the visited or coming Hotspots to be subdued and just the next one in full size and colours. Is that possible and, if so, how can I do that?Thanks.Pascal

Just got Captivate 11 update 11.5.0.476, with the new Vimeo option in Interactive Video. I've tried a handful of Vimeo files, and the same thing happens. It gets to 50% when loading, then it hangs up. I'm forced to cancel to get out of it, and get a message "Video encountered an internal error."I know the videos are good. We've used them in many other places.Any ideas?
