Hi everyone, is it possible somehow to enter a form of payment during a quiz in Adobe Captivate? The project involves a series of questions, at the end of which a payment will be requested, if the payment is made the results page will be shown.Is there a way to do it, even an unusual one?For example, would it be possible to redirect the user to a payment page and then be redirected to the results page? Thank you so much,Marco

Hi, I would like to link the 3 Submit buttons to 3 flip cards on some other frame. The flip card should show the conclusions on the basis of the selected answers on the quiz frames.How can I link those Submit buttons to get the answer type?

1) I am advised to set it to "When SCROM is completed...."2) I am wondering when I publish, should the e-learning output be 1.2 or 2004? Thank you in advance

For over two months I've been trying to install Adobe Captivate on a Mac machine. I downloaded the package (dmg file) from Adobe Captivate page, however, it just won't expand on OS Catalina and shows an error, the same package would expand on a much older OSX, transferred the installer back onto the Catalina machine, yet the installer gives me an error almost immediately. I contacted Adobe Support, and have escalated this matter already, I received a phone call from a Captivate support person but ended up giving me the same link shown above for downloading the installer, which didn't work!!

I've seen this in several forum posts, but the newest is from April 2020, and no solution is listed there. I got the same problem than everybody else, when you click on Record Video Demo the program crashes without any error message. Captivate 2019 v11.5.1.499 It was recording video fine last week (2nd October is the last day I recorded something new).I've checked what I have installed in this week, and only OBS got updated (it was previously installed, just got a new update). I uninstalled it to see if it caused the problem, but the problem continues.The only windows update in this time frame is this one (It was installed on the 3rd October) Any idea why this keeps happening. When viewing VR content published via Captivate in VR devices, the VR content does not play as expected.  Due to a few libraries getting deprecated, there may be glitches in experience on stand-alone VR devices. There may also be issues with content loading on mobile devices that are experienced with cardboard. We are working on integrating the newer libraries into Captivate and we’ll release a fix with the new library support shortly.

Is there any easy way to have the learner be forced to repeat a learning module if they fail the quiz twice?MacLean

Hi I have been using SVG files for my project and sometimes they appear fine but then when export in video they some times desapear and others they look very low res. The files this is happening too is more of a random situation. When I export in HTML5 they are all there. Any ideas? ThanksEleni

Hi All, I'm very new at Captivate, but I have a problem. I have completed an entire e-learning course using Raleway Regular and when I publish it, I can't seem to get the Typeset correct in order for the published version to have the correct font.  Can someone please help me! Hello!  I am wondering if anybody could help with the following scenario:  We want to set an aknowledgment slide in our course for the end user to respond either YES OR NO. We want both answers to be marked as complete, however is there any way from Captivate standpoint to report the acutal answers to the admnis - NOT ONLY pass or fail?  Thank you! 

Hi, I am using Captive 2019. When I copy an object from PowerPoint I am able to paste it onto a slide in Captivate. I then choose a second object in PowerPoint and copy it.When I try and paste it within Captivate the first object selected gets pasted again. Pasting in any other software does paste the 2nd object selected.Is there a setting or option to clear the clipboard within Captivate.Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have a responsive project. the slides are ready and I am working on Audio.I noticed today that I can not edit the text box on the content for the slides. The header or title works just fine, but, not the larger group. I may have inported this from Powerpoint. Can someone confirm there is not just a box somewhere that I can check and then edit the text? Thanks a bunchJohn

I'm trying to call getCurrentBranch that is defined in CPM.js from Captivate:g.SlideGraphManager.prototype = { getCurrentBranch: function () { return this.m_CurrentBranch; }, }I guess it's related to this property(function (g) { g.SlideGraphManager = function () { this.m_CurrentBranch = []; }; )I can console log the SlideGraphManager function with cp.SlideGraphManager but no idea how to call getCurrentBranch or access m_CurrentBranch. Any pointers much appreciated!! J

Can you do a screen recording with Adobe Captivate?

I am very new to Captivate. I'm working on my 2nd project. Hi all -I'm working on a project that has a few slide videos, a quiz, and then two more slide videos. However, I'm wanting to split the project at the beginning with a slide that allows the learner to choose whether they want to watch the videos with closed captioning or not. Yes, I'm aware that I can do CC within Captivate, but I'm wanting to try this method first (if possible) since I have videos with and without burned-in CC already.I'm curious if there is a way to make those two different pathways work correctly. I'd like the user to be able to pick their pathway, watch the videos, get to the quiz, and then continue on the same pathway for the last two videos. The first branching is easy, but I'm unsure how to handle the pathways after the quiz.My next issue is how this will handle within my LMS (Captivate Prime). If I get this to work, the learners will always show a progress % of around 50%, since they never watched the videos in the pathway they didn't choose. Is there a way to

We have created a few LMS modules and using them the ACTO App (LMS). We seem be experience two small issues:Audio keeps playing when App is minimisedThe slides have an audio track playing but when the user minimises the App or navigate to another tab on a browsers, the audio and the slide continues to play. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Links to PDFWe have also added several PDFs to the LMS modules. These PDF documents open in a new window on a browser, but when using the ACTO app. They open in the same window. So, users need to relaunch the module. Any help with these two issues would be greatly apprecaited.Kind Regards

I have a series of 30 slides. On each slide, I want to have the same interaction and groups: Click a button to show/hide a group. In that group, click button to show/hide another group.The makeup of the groups – ie. Background images and text caption format/layout/etc. remains constant, but within each of the above groups, the content of the images and text captions will change from slide to slide to make them relevant to the individual slide content in which they appear.When I copy or duplicate the groups to use them in additional slides, the group/object names are no longer valid, so of course, the Advanced Actions to show/hide the groups do not function in the new locations.It took quite a while to create the original scripts and the object names they reference. What approach should I be taking to avoid having to recreate all of these each slide? I tried Shared Actions but that still requires me to select a group/object name from a list of all names in the project. The object names

Hi!I'm trying to put a captivate project published in HTML on a sharepoint site, but unfortunately all the .js and some of the .css are in an unreadable compressed format when i publish it, therefore i cannot look for the links to replace to the sharepoint folder's URL.Is there a way to export a project without any compression, and or even into one folder? Publishing creates multiple subfolders for the different assets which unfortunately I'm unable to upload at once (no folder upload is allowed).The basic idea is to put the package on sharepoint where javascript is enabled, then put an iframe or a content editor where i can reference to the starting html.Any help would be much appreaciated!Thank you.Edited: I just realised if i could publish the project directly to sharepoint that would solve it, is that possible anyhow?
