Hi Community, I have a project, where on several buttons I have set to count 1 question point when pressing it.Now my issue is, that always when I hit one button (which has the same settings as the others), the question point get frozzen and the countig stopps. Has anyone an idea how to fix this? Thanks a lot Best regardsArmin

I need to create a one or two slide max module that just has the user click the button to launch a document (from a url) and then have them "certify" they read it. Can I do this as a quiz question, and if so how can I trick it out to not seem like a quiz? The url is on an internal intra-net server so I don't want to use the web object becuase the thumbnail breaks and looks bad.

Hi,It seems that Captivate has a problem with "accents" in Spanish, it is not possible to type them on the keyboard and I am obliged to type the word in another program and copy and paste into Captivate. Could someone tell me how to write the accents?On the other hand, I have tried to find some option that allows to include spaces between paragraphs, but I can't find it. Do you have captivate that option? Paragraphs without this option are quite illegible.Thank you

Hi, I am trying to upload 360 videos and pictures in adobe captivate while selecting 360 slides, but it is showing that the 1 item is selected and also shown on the left side but it is not showing in the slide(middle). kindly guide me that how can I add 360 videos or pictures in the adobe captivate?

Hello,is it possible to show on a quiz results page all answers that were chosen in a multiple choice quiz? E.g. What are you doing today? x going for lunch   take a napx drink a coffee   calling a fried Going for lunch and drink a are the chosen answers which I want to display at the end of the quiz on the results page. How do I do that? I know that I can't use cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice as this variable only stores one value. Help is very much appreciated! RegardsFranziska

I'm looking to create a "Text Rollout" animation to have text look to appear as if it is being pulled out of a simple box graphic.I tried animating text within the State view of a smart object, but there doesn't seem to be a way to apply a clipping mask to the object to prevent the text being visible outside of the smart object border.I've seen many examples that either alpha fade in the text, or expanding scale the text, but I want the text to just slide in without scaling or fading.With masking a standard thing in pretty much every other Adobe package, I thought it would be an obvious thing to have in Captivate.Another method could be to have the background with a transparent hole in overlayed at the appropriate level, but with an animated full background,this seems a very awkward way of doing something that should be so simple!Maybe there's something I could do with the "Rollover Slidelet", although I want to just appear at a certain time, not triggered by a rollover event.Any help

When the Captivate „title page” appears, a moment later the following message pops up: „Theme file copying failed. Try manually copying Adobe Captivate theme files from /Applications/Adobe Captivate 2019/Gallery/Layouts/11_0/en_US to /Users/test/Documents/My Adobe Captivate Projects/Layouts/11_0/en_US”. When I click OK for a moment Captivate screen appears, with a choice of recent files (Sample Projects, all of them). Than the application crashes. Of course I did the copying - nothing. Reinstalled Captivate - still the same effect. Have the latest version, paid monthly (not trial), on Mac. Hi teamI will be embedding a a couple of videos into captivate slides (@ one video per slide).When the viewer is seeing the video for the first time, he should not be able to use the video's navigation bar to scroll forward or backward. But after seeing the video completely for the first time, the option to scroll the video forward or backward should appear. This applies to every video in each captivate slide.How to do so?Regards

I can't get more than 1 audio layer on a slide. I have the text the speech audio and want to layer another sound on top. When I try to add the second track it replaces the first one (the text to speech audio). Where is the option to add without replacing?

I have a fairly large Captivate project (around 500 slides), with a final quiz.When I click to start the assessment there is an excessive time delay before the first question appears.I have changed the button click setting to a single click, in order to prevent the trainee hitting the button again (whilst they are waiting) but the time delay is consistently long.Any ideas to improve the speed ? 

I am having a very strange issue with my text entry box setup. I am trying to validate a user input, and add answers in the Correct Entries dialog box. The problem is when I click Validate User Input field nothing happens the Correct Entries dialog box never opens. Why is the correct entry box not opening am I missing something?

Hello,We've been working on an exam that randomly pulls a total of 50 questions from five separate pools, totalling 61 questions. However, if the learner closes out of this exam at any point during the entire course and then proceeds to re-open it, they are "locked out" of the course as it sits on the "spinning wheel" screen ad nauseum. Another thing to consider about this exam is that it utilizes the Countdown/Timer widget to restrict the learner to 60 minutes. We have run into an issue with HTML5 Captivate lessons giving proper completion credit on our LMS using SCORM 1.2 on several lessons.  I've been able to duplicate the error in this way:1. Launch the lesson2. Run through a few slides3. Exit the lesson.4. Launch the lesson5. Exit the lesson without clicking on the "play" button6. Launch the lesson7. Complete the lesson8. No completion credit is given. Once something like this happens, the student is perpetually locked out of receiving credit for viewing the lesson.Completion is based on clicking a button at the end of the lesson that says "Click Here to Complete the Lesson" (or something like that) and that button gives 100% to the score. I was looking at the data our LMS receives from the lessons when this occurs, and this is what I discovered.Orange text: The lesson location.  Notice how in Attempt 2 the lesson location reverts to a default of "slide".Blue text: The first character in the suspend data seems to be ba

Hello, We are using Presenter 11.1.5 and publishing to HTML 5.   On Windows computers we have tested in Chrome, Edge and IE 11 and everything is working fine, when we press the play button on the first slide the audio starts playing. On Mac OS/X and Safari the play bar shows buffering and stays like that no matter how long we let it wait.  If we push Play the audio does not play.  If we click on Rewind and then Play the audio plays fine. Any help is appreciated.

Hope everyone is well.I'm curious to hear about your 360 VR / AR success stories and your general thoughts on how it improved your courses. I hear about people using the 360 feature but have not seen much creation, except for Adobe's training examples and our own.  I've created a couple microlearning pieces and found myself compromising on my expectations. I had hoped for better screen quality and ways to customize interactions. Personally, I am yet to find a way to click a hotspot and play audio and reveal a picture at the same time (without the audio playing on its own when entering the slide). I will check with my team on that one! In my testing, the workaround was to make the graphic into a video with embedded sound; that was the only way I could control both. This in turn caused me to make all of the hotspot popups into short videos with sound. I did not plan on moving in that direction. I suppose I am tailoring my expectations like any other software. Regardless, I

I am using the record demo funtion in Captivate. The video quality is fairly crisp and clean. After I save that as a video and import the MP4 into my Captivate project, the quality degrades significantly. I tried resizing the screen capture size to the exact size of the space within the project, which improved things but it is still very pixelated and looks unprofessional. Is there a setting that I need to change, a different approach to take, or is this just one of those things that one has to "live with" with Captivate? I appreciate any guidance.

Hi Everyone!I've spent hours trying to figure this problem out. It's finally time to call in the experts for help. I have a video needs to be edited and I've done so in Premiere. Regardless of what format I choose to export it out of Premiere, I get this message when I try to upload it into Captivate. The original video will go into Captivate fine...but not the edited one. Even if I choose to export out of Premiere using all the original settings I have no luck. Any ideas of what to look for so that I can get this video into Captivate?

Hi!I've recorded a software for my E-Learning (software simulation, about 550 slides). In the Captivate preview all slides look great, but in the “HTML5 in browser” preview and after export I have problem with those slides, where I scrolled with the mouse to show something (PDF-Text for example): my video is squeezed from both sides (left and right – see image).  Could you please tell me why this happens and what I can do to change it?Thank you!

Hi allCompletely new to Captivate and have been tasked with getting a course out which translates a classroom based session to an elearning course. This is basically a translation of Power Point at the moment. I am having problems in a Responsive design slide with how lines and text boxes are moving on a screen. Layout is fine as at Desktop but positions move on Phone size screen. All lines are placed as smart objectives with % on a master slide.Results shown in images below Any advice welcomeA

Hello Everyone!!!I have a strange problem. What I am working on now is having some text shrinking issues on quite a few slides. Here is how I have designed it:Yet when I preview it, it looks like this:There is obviously plenty of room.. Any ideas as to why it is changing the text size?

I am unable to publish Adobe Captivate 2017 v10.0.0.192 videos (see attached image for Publish settings). It attempts to publish but does not complete the process. I am working remotely and is using VPN to connect to agency's network. I am using IEv11 as browser (preferred browser for videos). Others in the agency are unable to publish as well.
