when i try and complete the course for Adobe Education and Charity Customer Eligibility (20 Minutes) (Rest of World)There is 2 modules Adobe Education and Charity Customer Eligibility (Rest of World) EnglishAdobe Education and Charity Customer Eligibility (20 Minutes) (Rest of World)The first is 30 minutes prework and the second is the course. i have completed the first but when it comes to the seccont course it loads to a block screen and does not work.I have tried multiple browers on multiple operating systems across multiple computers and none seem to work, screen shot attached.can anyone help with this?

Members of our team have created and saved a Captivate file by saving as Responsive. I have a PC/Windows and I cannot open the file. Is there a way to convert a Mac Captivate file as a PC/Windows file?Thanks much.Jim Lombardojimlombardo1735@gmail.com

Hello! This link https://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/certificate.html shows a Captivate certification program - $499 for self-study curricullum and exams only.  I was wondering if anyone in this forum has participated on this program, or if there is a way to just take a certification test (not having to pay for a study portfolio/exam package). Also, I've seen ACE, ACP certifications, and I am not sure what is the difference beteen them! I have never pursued an Adobe certification before, and would appreciate any advice 🙂

I am using Captivate on a remote desktop (working remotely seems to be the way of the world these days) and I am having some issues while attempting to record a video demo. The Mouse Cursor is extremely jumpy when I move it around the screen. This shows up on the video; as the mouse moves across the screen, it is extremely choppy. Is there any settings that might help fix this? Any help you can offer is very much appreciated. Thanks.

Using Captivate 2019 v11.5.1.499. I'm working on a project based on a template that I designed, and I'm running into a weird problem. When I test it, the bottom navigation bar only shows the mute, CC, and exit buttons. When I go into the Skin Editor to configure the playbar, the options to activate the play, rewind, forward, and back buttons are greyed out.I tried different playbar themes but no luck. I created a new blank project, and also a new project based off the same template. On these two, all the buttons I want appear on the nav bar.Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks,Mike

I have just developed an Andriod app using Adobe Captivate. The Captivate project makes use of "Web objects" to link to video files that are held on a separate server. When I try to access any of these videos I get the following message The web page at .... could not be loaded because..net:ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE  Before you ask...I did not want to include the videos within the app as this would make it too large. Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome. 

How do you insert a results slide after the last quiz question in Captivate? I am coming from Storyline in which I am expert level and it's easy to add one in that program -- just one or two steps.  However, after creating a software simulation project with a couple of slides recorded in Assessment mode, I noticed that a Results slide was not automatically added after the second of the two slides. I also specified that I wanted these interactive slides (with hotspots) included in the quiz.  Thanks in advance for your help -- anybody! 

I have a course that consists of 11 lessons.  I originally developed it in 2008.  At that point I needed to keep the lessons in separate Captivate files otherwise the download speed was too slow.  Is this still an issue with Captivate 2019 publishing in HTML 5?   I appreciate any insights you can share.

Hello,  I am trying to add a youtube video to my project and when I choose Media--> Video--> Slide Video--> Youtube-- and enter the link I am getting this error:   I know I am connected to the internet as I can open the video and view it. Any idea how to fix?Thanks!

Hi, I managed to make a button in the slide before the first quiz that appears only if you fail the quiz when it takes you back to the slide, but I can't make the same thing happen for the rest of the slides, I used the same advanced action, but the button is always on, and it doesn't switch to the quiz unless I press it, I want it to do the same thing as the first slide, is it possible that captivate doesn't let you do that? or is there another way to do that?Thanks in advance

Hi Community, So I have set up a multiple choice quiz in Captivate 2019. I have 4 questions near the beginning of my course and a further 2 later on in the course - I don't know if this matters to my problem. The first screenshot shows my question slides working just fine, once I move on and if a user clicks to go back (to possibly review the content again), the questions disappear (second screenshot)... I have no idea what to do or why, because the first 4 questions work fine. Should I redo the last 2 questions slides? Are there any alternatives?  

So for the online version, they give you access to Pooja's stuff, about 8 hours of a Program on Adobe Cp Prime. I just completed the Program. Prime says I completed it. I got the email that says I completed it.  Soooo how long till I get contacted about taking the exam? Is there some manual process that happens so it'll take a little time to get access to the exam? I'm anxious to do it before 32-pages of notes fall out of my head! Raph

Hi, I am working on a Captivate 2019 course that is being hosted on a client's LMS and the client is using IE (version 11). When they open the module, they see this message "The content you are trying to view is not supported in the current Document Mode of Internet Explorer. Change the Document Mode to Internet Explorer 9 Standards and try to view the content again. To chnage the Document Mode, press F12, click Document Mode and hten select Internet Explorer 9 Standards."  When they follow these instructions, the course opens but the slides are cut off at the bottom. Attached is a picture - you can see the Next and Previous arrows are cut off.   I am not able to recreate this error when viewing through SCORM Cloud. And what information I did find I believe says it has to be published to SWF which isn't an option with Flash going away.  Is there a setting in the Captivate source file I should change or is there another fix? So, I'm new to captivate, but have been using Adobe products for years. I want to use the 2019 drag and drop feature. I have a word, like "cat." The user has to drag the correct vowel letter to the drop in the middle to make the word. I only want a correct score on teh quiz for the correct object that was dragged over. The other object is incorrect. I'm having issues with htis. I can get them both to drag, but they are both marked as "correct," in the quiz. Thank you for helping,A kindergarten Teacher

Hello,  Have you ever had issues adding jQurey to a button?   I've added the below script to the slide in the Execute javaScript window on which button, Button_Next is placed. Hello,I am looking for suggestions on the best practice for saving the values of user variables captured during an e-learning course.  My use case is that I'm hoping to simulate the concept of a class workbook/document so these values could be "exported" out of the learning course and used within a local document.  I have a working scenario using some javascript that sends the values to a window where the learner could copy into the windows clipboard and use and they want.  I'd love to know if anyone else is doing such a thing.  Thanks in advance.  

Hi All, I've created a course where one of the slides is a diagram that builds.  As the objects appear I have added a voice over which is attached to the object.  When I play the preview the slide and audio work fine.  If I export as a video the sound starts right from the first slide (the diagram is on slide 8).  When I upload it to our LMS (SuccessFactors) there is no sound at all.  Any ideas?  Should I have added the audio at slide level rather than object level?  This would be a challenge and is why I chose to add the voice over at object level so would really like to get it working.

Today,  tried to record a video demo using Captivate 2019 about 5 times in a row with each attempt resulting in fatal error. I cleared the cache (Edit/Preferences/Global Preferences:General Settings) after the first 2 attempts, obviously to no avail. I was able to record video demos as late as yesterday.  But not today.  I am using Windows 10 and I noticed that an update was downloaded at 12:02:18 AM on June 27, 2020. But I am not sure that is the source of the problem. My version of Captivate is 11.5.1.499. When I searched the forum for similar problems and I found a post about a fatal error occuring when a user was creating an assessment simulation.  But I'm wary of using the .dll solution reported in the post thread for my problem with a video demo. Has anyone else had this exact problem and found permanent fix for it? I'd appreciate any help.   Thank you in advance. (If I need to provide additional system data, p

Sorry if this has been asked, but I have been unable to find it in the search. I need to have a distinctly formatted bulleted list in place as scrolling text due to space limitations. I am planning to accomplish this by creating the list in Word, saving it as a web page, and inserting a web object into the project. The problem is that the formatting of the web page is not appearing as it is created.  Specifically, the bullets are appearing as dashes and quotation marks are appearing as an icon with a question mark inside. Additionally, the incorrect formatting appears differently inside Captivate using an HTML5 preview than it does when published and uploaded to our server and run from there. Initially I thought it was possibly an issue with using a specific font and perhaps the browser didn't recognize it, but the issue continued when I changed to Times New Roman. I suspect that this is probably not actually a Captivate issue, but I figure someone here might h
