Captivate

Hello,I'm using Captivate 11.5.1.499 on a Windows 10 machine. I have been in contact with Adobe about resolving an issue with the downloads tab in the assets panel. I'm trying to add downloaded characters to my slides but I'm unable to do so because the downloads tab freezes and doesn't show any of my downloaded assets. I can download the character files without a problem, I just can't add them. I have been working on a project for two month. Today I deleted the tempfiles, cach and restored the preferenses from the utility folder.When I then opened the project there is a bunch of problem:- All textobjects where hidden. I have to click on each object for the text to bi vissible.-When I preview using F11 (I am using javascript) captivate craches adn error message about cpPainters.ddl pops up.-And now I cant even open the project no more all of a sudden.I guess I have deleted something i shouldnt.Any one knows what I can do now?

Hey, using adoble captivate and uploading it shows only white space, what sould I do ?

 I am looking for a way to give individual audio feedback when objects are dragged to a- source accepting many objects.  It is no problem if all objects dragged get the same audio feedback, but I am looking for a way to give individual audio feedback to the object dragged to the drop source. I have tried this for hours, but are stuck.I tried the “Play Audio” button and it works, except for the fact that on the start of the page all audios are played. I have Captivate 2019.ThanksJan

Does this happen to you? / Is this supposed to happen? If you command/CTRL - - or command/CTRL - + you zoom in and our of the project, right? Right However I'm finding if you select BEST FIT: CTRL-0 you are NO longer able to zoom in/out? If this does happen to you, doesn't that seem like a bug that should be reported? And if so, how do we report a bug about Captivate ?   ASIDE: Are we even supposed to be posting here in the Adobe Support Community anymore or would they rather have us over posting at https://elearning.adobe.com/discussions/? Cheers,Rapha6

Just wanted to share this knowledge since it took 3 days of troubleshooting to isolate the problem, perhaps it is a bug with Captivate 2019. I use everything in my modules, including video, advanced actions, quizzes etc. Recently changed to TalentLMS and preivously produced modules would not load properly using the TalentLMS app on smartphones. TalentLMS people didn't have a clue, even though I sent them the scorm to examine. They said it looked like the scorm was authored to play only in a browser and that they were working on some bug in their app.  I thought it was my new phone causing the problem. Upon playing the module, only a white screen would appear, then a gray screen with progress blocks spinning with "loading" message. Then it went to the first slide, by passing my preload button/start screen. Audio played but the slide was blank, except for the "begin" button, missing it's text, that I use on my intro slides. I thought it was a master slide background problem on slide

In captivate 2019, I would like to know how to export all my settings in my object Style Manager. That way I can share with a colleague and save time. I see the button is grayed out. What I missing here?

Hi group - I have been creating Software Simulations using Captivate for quite some time, and produced the zipped project file to be used in the Xyleme platform. However, I now have a new request to do the same thing (Software Simulations), but using Litmos as the platform. Is there something different that needs to happen? And, what do I communicate to the Litmos team responsible for the platform, so they properly prepare for the new Software Simulations? Thanks in advance to any help you can provide.Regards,Dave

Hello All,I am using Captivate2019 and Safari browser on iPad Air 2 v13.I am unable to drag any dragsource, so unable to drop on destination.It works well on PC as well as Samsung Tab. May I know if it is happening on my system or others can replicate this issue too?Please suggest solution. Thanks,Belhe

Hi everyoneI am using Capivate 19, version 11.0.0.243 I have this error message appear when trying to open a captivate project from a shared office network. The file is not open anywhere elseWe are sure it is not damagedWe have enough spaceIt was saved multiple times It has happened on more than one project. Hello,Can anyone let me know if Captivate 2019 has the ability to import powerpoint slides that meet WCAG Accessibility features?  I know that they import as images in 2017 which is not accessible.  Appreciate the support. 

Hi, I published a SCORM file (I already tried SCORM 2004 all versions and SCORM 1.2) with ordinary "Next", "Back", "End of E-Learning",... buttons. When I want to upload the .zip to the LMS system there is an error (I used FireFox). When I publish the same project in the same way but without any buttons, I can upload it corretly without any problems. What is the problem with the buttons? Do I need other attitudes when I use buttons? I use Adobe Captivate 2019. Thanks for your help.

I'm able to publish my responsive project (captive 19) through our LMS onto Internet Explorer and it looks just like I designed. However when I open it in chrome there are issues with sentences/buttons being cut off where my fluid boxes are. Any ideas?

Hello everyone,,I'm using the 2019 release of Captivate on a MacBook Pro (Catalina).I need to rescale some projects to 650 (maintained aspect ratio) from 1024x768. There's average 150 slides in each project. It's not a responsive project because I need the projects published in .exe.Whenever I try rescaling, it crashes Captivate when I tick the Rescale Objects setting. Otherwise, rescaling works fine. But, this is a problem since I have to rescale 9 projects and it'd take so much time to manually layout everything again.Advice please? 😞 I'm new to using Captivate btw.Here's the error message: https://pastebin.com/xZ2Rq2Xu 

I am an intereting issue. I have a question pool of about 450 questions and I have a project that has a title slide, a summary slide, and a slide that asks the user to input the number of questions they want. What I want to do is take the variable that is storing the user input and use it to add that many Random Quesstion slides to the running project. Is this possible? I have the latest version of Captivate (11.5.1.499).  I'm running an updated version of Windows 10.  The assets panel is not working and constantly seems to have problems.  More than half the time I open it, everything in blank, like there are no assets available.  This is not in the downloads, it's in the Assets tab itself.  I used to be able to download icons and all sorts of things and today it's all blank.  I've restarted twice, with no changes.  Anyone have a fix, or is this just another example of what i can continue to expect.  Note:  Our organization will likely be switching to Articulate.  I've dealt with these glitches for long enough.

I just downloaded the extra speech agents for Adobe Captivate 2019.  I restarted the computer. I went back into a slide to add a new speech to text section on a slide.  My default speech agent is David.  I click on Julie and type in my new speech.  Then I generated the audio.  When I preview the slide the speech agent is still in David. Why won't it change to Julie?

I have quizzes which are mostly 'fill in the blank' answers. When learners review the quiz I only want to indicate any incorrect answers given and keep the correct answers hidden. I could work around this when publishing in swf  but in HTML5 learners are able to reveal the correct answers. A similar question has previously been asked and a solution offered was to alter the css\CPLibraryAll.css I'm not sure if the code is meant to prevent this or to only prevent the green tick boxes from being displayed. Does anyone know if the code should prvent the learner from being able to reveal  the correct answer or if not is there a way to prevent this?Code :

Is there a widget for an on screen keyboard? Did not found one.If not: Is it possible to get an existing on screen keyboard work with Captivate? Like this one: https://mottie.github.io/Keyboard/Only needs to work in HTML5-output. And would even use something i had to put myself in this output at the end and out of captivate

I created a project which includes an embedded video in Captivate 2019. It plays fine in Chrome, Firefox and Edge but will not play in IE 11.  Anybody have same issue or answer to correct this situation? 

Hello Everyone  I am looking for some of the preferred institutes in India by Adobe which can provide training on Adobe Captivate 2019 AR/VR. Since i have to start working on Adobe Captivate 2019 AR/VR but i am not very much familiar with it.  The training method can be either Online or Outdoor. Please Suggest.
