Hi All I have 2 elearning created in 2019. Our main elearning will show quiz scores on the final page, our review elearning will not. I have gone through all Quiz preferences and both modules match. Can anyone help why my quiz score will not show in preview or publish in LMS

Hello everyone! In some of our learner modules we have a button that takes the student to the next slide. This button is on a (Self) Time-based animation, whereby the next button will appear after a certain amount of time (based on when the audio will finish for that slide). However, if a student who has moved past the slide wishes to return to the slide, they'd have to again wait until the next button appears (even though they've already viewed the slide previously). This makes it very hard to navigate for students who are returning slides/modules to check content for the exam I was wondering if there was a way to make it that once the next button has appeared, it will retain that state when a student returns to that slide, so students don't have to wait however long after each visit.  Thanks in advance for the help 😄

I've been working on my first Captivate 12 project and when I accessed it this morning the review had disappeared.  It was actively being reviewed and I went in to address comments that I received on Friday.  When I click on the links to the comments (in notifications and via email) I get a Error 404: Asset not found error.Obviously this is a big problem for getting this project finalized. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Hi folks,I have some severe problem with my Captivate content displaying in Successfactors LMS.SF opens the content in a new 800x600 window and I need a script to force this window to an bigger size. I know that this must work somehow, because we have other content (not made with Captivate), which actually DOES resize the window.  I´ve tried to locate the responsible script snippet, but it does not work with my Captivate content.I am using Captivate Classic, publishing in scalable HTML5. Don't want to ressurect an old thread, but want to use it for reference with input from Rod and Lilybiri:Solved: cpCmndGotoFrameAndResume and HTML5 - Adobe Community - 5778209 I have a timeline with 7 different nodes on it going to 7 separate slides covering the info based on year. I created a Master slide with a button and "Return to Timeline" at the bottom for these 7 slides to take the use back to the timeline. I want them to bypass the intro text and voiceover obviously as they heard it the first time. From reviewing Micronav blog post by Lilybiri (although the SWF object won't show so I can't see example she references), I now understand it is one massive timeline not new for each slide. I get how this then would work with her method of 1. creating a user variable v_startframe2. Assigning v_startframe with rdinfoCurrentFrame (set at the beginning of each slide per Lilybiri's instructions) / Continue3. Then assigning rdcmndGotoFrameAndResume with v_startfra

I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this issue: When I go to drag layers within the timeline to better organize them, the object labels often don't follow the timeline of that object, and sometimes the stretch of timeline disappears itself not appearing where I've tried to drop it, and the label still sitting where it was, but the 'colored bar' gone. It often reappears properly after I save or sometimes only when I close out the program then reopen, but that's a little nerve-wracking to have to 'hope' that it does. So I often leave the timeline alone and hunt for what I need rather than having it organized the way I want. Is there some setting I perhaps have on that is causing this? I also don't really understand why the layers can only be dragged within the timeline itself (which means the placement easily shifts and I have to redo if I don't remember the exact spot it was (and I even tried holding down 'shift' to see if it would hold the object layer in its horizontal spot on th

Hi,My Captivate 2019 keeps crashing--either on Open or shortly thereafter. The Crash report often refers to the adobe_licutil process and then it states the Captivate version number asVersion:  11.0.0.34 (11.0.0.34) Other crash reports refer only to  Adobe Captivate as the process and state the Captivate version number as "11.5.5.678" ( 11,5,5,678 ). I have another CC account (through work for other Adobe products) but I ensured I was logged out of it and logged into my CC desktop with the account that manages Captivate. I tried "CleanPreferencesMac" and other suggestions I found online. The only thing I have not tried is uninstalling and reinstalling Captivate. Any suggestions?

Die Prozessabläufe, die ich aufgezeichnet habe, aber nicht!Dementsprechen würde es ausreichen, wenn ich in das alte E-Learning "einfach" die neuen Screens bekommen würde.Ich habe die Bilder bereits aufgezeichnet (in dem gleichen E-Learning). Jetzt möchte ich eigentlich nur die Bilder tauschen. Z. B. Hintergrund1 mit Hintergrund45 ersetzten.Aber das geht offensichtlich nicht so einfach, oder doch?Ich weiß nicht weiter. Wo liegen denn die Bilder? Muss ich jedes Bild über Gimt tauschen? Oder via Zwischenablage.Ich hoffe auf Hilfe oder Tips von Euch. Vorab besten Dank und viele Grüße Jürgen

We are looking to upgrade from Captivate 7 and generally use MP# for Audio and MP4 for video but was hoping to get a list of supported audio/video just in case something changes.Thank you,Darren

Hi, We are trying to make an accessible module, but the playbar requires horizontal scrolling at 320. Is there an easy way to modify ( in new captivate, not classic)? This is obviously an oversight from an accessibility perspective. Please fix Adobe!! Thanks! katy

I am having an issue with Drag and Drop that I am unable to pinpoint- I have 2 drag and drop slides in Captivate 2019. Each one has 7 drag sources, and 3 drop. The intended action is for automatic submission upon all 7 drag sources being dropped to the correct locations. Currently, after dragging one source, after 3 seconds the presentation changes to the next slide.I confirmed that I have "Continue playing the project"  unchecked, and cleared cache. This was working successfully, but now it's not so I must have done something, but I can't figure out what. 

Hi All, I'm a new Captivate Classic user. My brain is still in "Storyline 360" mode and I'm having trouble adapting to Captivate Classic's way of "thinking."  As a result, I'm struggling to build this interaction (pictured below). Any insights welcome. Thank you.

I've posted similar queries in the Adobe Fonts and Adobe Captivate forums, but I'm not getting answers.  Maybe someone here can help? All Adobe Captivate projects require us to enter the domain name where the project will be hosted.  Adobe checks the subscription status and domains when the project is viewed online, and will potentially revert the fonts if the user doesn't have an active license.   (See What happens to fonts from Typekit if my subscription expires?) I'm worried about what happens when one of our instructional designers leaves the company.  Presumably their enterprise account will be deactivated, or archived, or something. At that point, would projects published by the former employee be at risk for reverted fonts? If they do, we'll have to start keeping track of who published what, so a current employee can replublish an old employee's content.  This is a real pain, as we have thousands of Captivate projects.

Hi all, am having difficulties getting the Playbar to consistently display. I have enabled it via both the Edit/Preferences/Project/Publish fields, and Window/Table of Contents...but when I preview it, sometimes it will display...and sometimes it won't. Does anybody else experience this or have some suggestions to fix please? Thanks in advance.  

Hello Captivate community.I first wanted to post my question to this post but it is very old: https://community.adobe.com/t5/captivate-discussions/creating-a-survey/m-p/7335445 I would like some more information on extracting survey answers using the CpQuizInfoAnswerChoice and user variables:  If I use variables to store the answers of users for multiple survey slides, can that information be saved to a spreadsheet or some other way of providing the moderator / company or even the LMS with the information the users chose, so that it can be reviewed by someone other than the user? The questions are worded answers, so not true/false or yes/no. I found that if you are jumping from a slide to that same slide, on enter actions will work fine every time but only as long as it's set to slide 1.The moment any other slide comes before it, it no longer works.I came across this in a massive project that now basically depends on this functionality and then discovered the bug when it came time to add an intro screen.You can test easily with a blank slide + variable, on enter run an advanced action: increment variable by 1, delay action by 1 second, jump to slide 1. This will count upwards with no problem.Now just add a slide with a continue button before it and it no longer works.

I have been really been trying to use Captivate 12 for new projects instead of relying on Captivate Classic. I am excited about the ability to import Closed Captions for videos into Captivate from Adobe Premiere.  However, I feel like I am missing something basic.  I cannot seem to find a place to activate a Progress Bar for a Captivate 12 module for a Slide Video like I could using Skins in Captivate Classic to allow users to navigate forward/backward without having to use the buttons.  I understand the difference between Slide and Event videos but I have to use Slide Videos so that I can add in my closed captioning directly in the module.  Am I missing something basic here? I was expecting to see it in the TOC and Playbar settings but don't see it?  There must be a way to allow users to move forward/backward in a slide video. Apologies in advance if I missing something right in front of me!  I am using Version 12.3.0.12. Thanks.

I've used Captivate Classic (2019) for years and have always added Closed Captions to the audio on each slide. I publish the projects as videos. This has worked well up until about a month ago. Now, CC are either not displayed in the .MP4 file or just the background boxes for the CC, but no text. Not only are new videos having an issue, but older videos that used to display CC correctly are affected as well. I'm using Windows 11 and have tried different browsers and media players, all with the same result. Has anyone else seen this?  

When I publish and preview my course, the first slide always appears as blank, with the TOC and a play button - any idea how I can bypas/remove this, to actually start on the first content slide? I have version 12.3.0.12 (waiting for Enterprise IT to upload the available updates). Thanks. 

I am testing accessibility. The Screen readers are reading duration 02:59.6 as zero two fifty nine six. Is there way we can fix this to read as 2 min 59 point 6 seconds Or It will read as this way only (zero two fifty nine six).

I converted a Word document to PDF and included it in my course. However, when I click the download button the pdf is downloading in my system. But the PDF is not readable by screen readers. How can I make the PDF accessible?

Is there way we can disable the audio button present in the playbar if the audio is not present in that particular screen. FYI, I am using Adobe Captivate 12.3 version.

I am using Adobe Captivate 12.3 with the default multiple-choice question slide template. While testing accessibility for this template, I noticed that quiz options can only be selected using the Spacebar. Is there a way to allow selection with the Enter key, or does Adobe Captivate 12.3 only support the Spacebar for selecting choices?
