I have issue in my character animator, I am using surface book 3 as my production device. But when I installed character animator, It says :"Surface Camera Rear (not fully supported)""Surface Camera Front (not fully supported)"
I was working on my original character in the rigging mode and was hopping back and forth between the example puppet and my own. I am not sure what I did, or did not do, when the message bellow appeared. I could not exit the program and had to reboot my computer. I am using Win 10 operating system."Internal error code: (1380437316:156+57)bNiOk false but b oundBehaviour not resolvable"
if photoshop and character animator con talk better to each other that would be great right now we have the buggiest adobe software because you keep on adding cool features that don't even work half the time

Well, it's not an idea per say, but I've been having trouble for the last.. 4-5 hours and I cannot find anything anywhere to debug myself. I've rigged my puppet at 99%, but when I use one of the Draggers installed on its body, the head/neck doesn't follow, and I wonder if there's a way to get the to attach at the base of the neck. The neck is inside Head (which is not independant) and Body is also not independant. Thank you in advance!
Please add a Play button and Spacebar to start playing when a Scene is active.
For example, if you want eyes wide open and you have eyelids you want to remove to get that effect, which means you would need to "dis-arm it". If you do it now, you would need to remove the eyelids from the puppet. I just want to remove them for the effect and then put them back on the normal puppet.
It would be useful if the user could insert frames into the timeline (similar to Adobe Animate) so that it is easier to edit a recording in the likely event that new dialog needs to be inserted.
I don't think you guys noticed this, but I'm sure that thousands of your users have-In-app playback in Animate and Character Animator absolutely sucks. How is it that in 2002, you could scrub and play through the timeline as you work and get frame-accurate playback. But now, with vastly faster CPUs, we can't see that anymore and we have to resort to exporting videos and swfs just to see what we are doing actually looks like? You should be ashamed of yourselves at how poorly your apps perform, given the horsepower of modern computers. It's deplorable. What's your excuse Adobe? I was never a member of the Apple/Jobs cult. But he nailed it when he called you out for being lazy. I've been using "Flash" for character animation for over twenty years. For the first several years of my career, I was able to play through my work in-app and see EXACTLY what the animation looked like. Now when I do it, I see the apps struggling to deliver a 10 fps rate. WTF?!? Computers evolve and yet
hey are traditional songs and poems intended to entertain and educate small children and use poetic elements such as rhyme and rhythm to meet the cognitive understanding of children rather than using figurative language in the same way complex poetry does.
app will not ask access permission to use the microphone - how do I correct this?
Child Draggers that follow the position, rotation, and scale of the Parent dragger, from the set origin of the object. While allowing you to move the child dragger without moving the parent dragger. This would be amazing!
When I drag my puppet to the scene it won't show up no matter what I do and I'm on the latest version.
Are you finding issues with users being unable to export MP4 from CH via Encoder? It's always worked in the past but no luck over the last 3 days.
The older versions of CH as well as the latest version of CH still has issues with puppets created in AI. I tested the Chloe (AI) puppet in the latest version of CH and the performance is awful. I'm getting about 4.5 FPS. I tested the Red Monster (PS) in the same version of CH and it worked fine. Is there anyway to optimize CH to work better with puppets created in AI.Laptop Specs: Dell XPS 9560 2018, 16 GB RAM, I7, 512SSD, NVIDIA GE 1050
While adjusting settings in my newest puppet I discovered that replays are affected by the dependence/independence settings of the puppet. For example, the replays of my puppet were recorded while the torso was set as independent. Once I changed the torso to dependent, the replays became erratic and the arm positions were completely messed up. Almost all of the replays need to re-recorded. Adjusting other settings like the attach style and dependence/independence of other groups did not resolve the issue.Please:1. Include this in the documentation and info about Character Animator. The current details imply that replays are "set in stone" and would therefore not be affected by independence changes.2. Add a toggle setting for replays that allows them to adhere to the puppet settings of when they were recorded.
I find character easy to use but I don't like working with a template. I want to feel some ownership in my ideas. Can you create your own character with Kyle's brushes to create the same effect? Wouldn't it be neat if you make Character Animation blend with Adobe Rush somehow?I was thinking the templates would be customizable like in Adobe XD.
I had a balloon on a string. Dangles turn off the string (created a separate issue for that one). Without dangle the balloon would either sway from side to side with no way to stop it (there was no “friction” setting on the hinge to slow it down), or using weld it would be a firm stick with no dynamic feel to the balloon at all.I think Hinge would be more useful if there was a friction or damping setting to slowly reduce the swaying effect of “hinge” today. Otherwise hinge is not that useful - things just keep spinning.
