Hello,I was using Adobe Connect Pro 7 SP1 .I recently installed on another server Adobe Connect Pro 9 .Adobe Connect Pro 9 was installed on an new database ,different from the 7 one .Will it work to just connect the pro 9 to the older database and just work ? Basically I want to connect the new application to the old database... Will it work ?

Hello, Right now we currently have two spaces where he are offering our educational content...1-moodle where we can track results and offer a "complete LMS"2-a series of mobile applications which are not connected to any LMS (ie users can't track progress and we can't track their progress on the mobile app)My question is regarding how difficult it would be to sync our content on the mobile application to if we switched our LMS from moodle to adobe connect?  Would it be possible to have users be able to complete content either on their mobile device or on the desktop and have that progress tracked and recorded??  Thanks for any answers or leads to further investigate the topic...

Why can't I connect since your upgrade over the weekend? It just hangs. All meeting rooms affected

I installed the mp3 player extension into Connect from the Adobe extensions site and it worked fine. Once the Connect meeting started I minimised it the pod with the mp3 player in it and there was no audible sound. But now when I go to the recording the sound is playing. It plays even when you have paused playback on the recording, so it is not in the recording itself. How can I stop it from playing while I view the recording?thanksLiz

Does this version also work with Moodle plugin?And - what about users syncing between Moodle and Adobe Connect?

I'm trying to match a clients styles and website design in Adobe Connect 9 Events and I see no way to link to an external style sheet or embed a stylesheet in any of the templates. I've used the built in editor but there are many styles that are not editable that I need to change. One of the biggest issues is that they have a max width of 612px to embed the event catalog into their site and I don't want scrollbars to show. Another is that the registration button is customizable on the registration page but they are not on the catalog page. Why is that? What are my options?

I've attemped to set the size of my swf manually, but it zooms the entire connect window in so much I can only see the top left corner. Any suggestions?

I run a classroom regularily for training where the new hires log in as Guests each day. Is it possible to have the drawing rights on for all guests at all times, day in and out? Thanks!

I am finding that my embedded equations are being stripped from PowerPoint presentations when i show them in the classroom and I am looking for a way to preserve them  (I share to the classroom via either Shared Content or My Content).  I am using Math Type to embed equations in PowerPoint, but colleagues are reporting that Equation Editor inputs are also not displayed.Thanks in advance...WIN 7/64connect 9.1office 2007

Hi,I was wondering if there was any way to run Connect on an isolated local area network not connected to adobe servers. I have a convention coming up and wanted to run a virtual classroom in the booth with the live presenter host present. So creating a isolated network through a router and have all the connect traffic local. From what I know of connect there's no way to run it without sending and recieving from the main servers but if its possible I'd love to hear about it.Thanks,Corey Hammond

As the title says people aren't receiving the event details when we add them to an event and approve them. Not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if there is an issue with our admin. Any ideas?

Hello to all,It's been a while that everytime I import a participant csv in Adobe Connect, if I have French accents (example : é, è, ô...), the name imported with the accents comes out with white on black questions marks at the place of the original accentuated letter. I have tried different methods to conturn this : using Notepad++ with UTF8 with or without BOM, OEM863 (French)... Nothing seems to do the trick. Would anyone know how to do this in a import without having to go all through the procedure of either creating my participants manually or changing manually the names after the import, please ?Thank you very much for your help !Abigail

I've tried Adobe Connect trial version.There are few questions about the product.1.How many meetings can be opened by one account at the same time?   I could open 9meetings at the same time using other PCs. What is the limit?2.What is the maximum of students in a meeting?   I'm thinking of buying monthly/Individual product.3.The meeting never end even though host is out of it. But we want to control.    Can host close a meeting so that all participants are out of the session?Thanks for your attention.

I use Macair (I cannot insert discs). I am already used to downloading from the internet and paying with my credit card... but can you give me the links?

We have several archived meetings using Adobe Connect that we'd like to belatedly add closed captions to for when people view these at home.  Is there an easy way to do this via Adobe Connect, or will we need to download the file and add the CC ourselves and then host that file somewhere else?  The CC Pod appears to only be for adding CC during the broadcast itself.Thank you
