what would cause adobe connect to freeze in a session for users, while the moderator session did not
I have a PowerPoint file (.ppt as well as .pptx) and the slides are fairly simple - mostly bullet point lists in Arial or Calibri font (nothing wild and crazy). When I upload the content directly into the Connect envrionment, the formatting of the slides (in the share pod) is all wacky. Instead of it sizing the slides to fit the share pod, the bullet points go down past the bottom of the pod and cannot be read.I was told that the only solution to this is to purchase Adobe Presenter and publish my PowerPoint files (using Presenter) into Adobe Connect. That is not an option for me at my company. It seems like uploading a simple PowerPoint should be a basic feature of Connect without having to download/purchase Presenter licenses. Maybe I'm wrong. Below are a few images in case this is not making sense. If anyone has advice, PLEASE let me know. I cannot possibly using connect for virutal training if slides look the way they do below. T
The how-to videos and documentation make mention of this 'Make Offline' feature. I don't see that link. It's not on the Recordings list for my meeting. I've made the video public. The link is not there. I can Edit - but that provides no download options. There is not even a column for the 'Make Offline' feature - it simply doesn't exist. I can download using the 'foo.zip' method - but I wan't the composite FLV of the meeting too - w/o having to assemble it myself.
I am trying to host a meeting. It installs Adobe Connect when I enter. When I click on the button to share my screen, it says "The meeting was opened in the Adobe® Connect™ Add-in". The Adobe Connect window that pops up is just a blank screen. My OS is Windows 7 and browser is Firefox. We've tried on a couple different machines, cleared cache, even rebooted, all with the same results. I've now had to postpone my meeting because this doesn't work and nobody could see my screen.
Can we use flash media server instance outside of adobe connect to create embedded shares with video streams on our clients personal pages, or get same result using other techniques ?
When I uploade a powerpoint to a meet room (adobe connect) the font SOMETIMES changes. How do I make sure it does not?
Hello,I am looking to find out if there is an add-in or external feature that can be integrated with Adobe Connect to give a more detailed polling option. More specifically to engage a brainstorming type session, where users can respond/vote on topics or keywords.Still listed on the Adobe site as an add-in is MeetingSphere, which is exactly what I am looking for, however Adobe Connect does not support their upgraded flex code. So I am hoping there is another alternative to enhance polling within the Adobe Connect platform.Any help/ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!Matthew
I have galaxy note 2 mobile I downloaded adobe connect, when I did function test, asked me to download flash player 10, put there is no flash player in market.
I have a course that contains a PowerPoint/Presenter Training and 5 question quiz. There is some issue that is preventing some trainees from conitnuing after they select an incorrect answer in any one of the questions. They cannot move forward or backwards. Once I can determine what the issue is, how do I reset these people to be able to make another attempt at the course and quiz. I have set the quiz for 3 attempts. I have had other situations in the past where I could not determine how to reset a person, to try again. This would be very helpful to know how to do this. I don't want to override their score, because they have not demonstrated that they can complete the training.
If questions are accidentally cleared in the Q&A pod, is there any way to retreive them?
When I try to download Adobe Connect Add-in, message tells me I haven't enuf room on hard-disk, yet I've plenty hard-drive space available.

How do I run a report which will tell me how many times a recorded webinar has been accessed?
Is there a way to run reports from the API, such as the reports on training and events that you get from the web interface?
If I uninstall the addin, and refuse to let it re-install, the Osprey 230 card video works great. As soon as the add-in is installed, I only get a black screen for video. Since it was Adobe that suggested the Osprey 230 for professional video feeds, I'm hoping they can update the Connect Addin to work with it.

Hi -- I am curious if there is a way built into the event module for folks to be able to opt-out of receiving invitations from you? My Digital Engagment Director was concerned about me using this vehicle to launch all of my training emails because people may not want to receive the invites anymore, but with no ability to opt-out may report us for SPAM violations... anyone else have these concerns. Is there anything built into the event module to handle this concern? If so, can you point me in the right direction as I am not seeing it.Thank you!
I'd like to hide the cursor on the screen share device. Is that possible?
After I've been talking for a while my mic stops picking up audio. The little sound waves next to the icon fade away. If I mute and then un-mute the mic it starts to work again but by they people listening have missed a chunk. I ran a bandwidth check and I says I'm on LAN speed. I am using the built in mic on a MacBook pro.
There is no Logout option anywhere! Help files suggest that the Home screen has "My Profile," "Help," and "Logout" hotlinks on the Home screen, but in fact there is no "Logout" option. I've had to restart the computer to disconnect the session. How do you logout?
Hello,I am trying to install adobe add in for my daughter who needs to do her SAT prep courses online, but I keep getting the error message, "couldn't write to the hard drive, verify hard drive and retry", and I did but no success, then the message said contact your IT administrator, which I have no idea who that is, can someone please help? thanks
Hi all,Has anyone had issues since the upgrade of this?I have made the recordings downloadable in all places thru the adobce connect admin area, but when using the desktop client evcewn though i am able to search for the file i am not however able to download it.The recording does appear in the download queue but does not initiate. This is just unacceptable.Part of the service is to be able to playback the meeting recordings and while i know i can do this online, it would also be useful to USE ADOBE'S PRODUCTS TO VIEW ADOBE'S BESPOKE RECORDINGS (Since they are not available in any other downloadable format, wouldn't midn so much if it just worked for once without issues.)Add this to the whole "Adobe Presenter - the worlds most unstable and bugged out piece of software ever" Come on Adobe, whats happening to your stuff?!?
How do I allow Participants to write on white board in Meeting? Must they all be changed to presenters for this interaction?
