We currently using a shared library, have added another user, and getting the issue, 'Could not place the document because the file could not be found', when trying to pull in a library item. The user is locked down to read only as are other users and no other problems with anyone else (about 10 people sharing the library). Have got the user to sign out and sign back in and have even removed the user and re-added them to the library repository. I'm hoping its something simple, can anyone help?
Hello Comm!I have to convince my companys CEO to let us collegues use the CCs at home. So our CEO wants to know:Are there any security options in the CC file-storage sync, to prevent users from dragging viruses, encrypters and malware into company network?Btw: The gfx-department is all Mac, how are the odds to infect a network behind a mac?
I created a folder in which I uploaded a certain number of jpg files. But it shows a limited number of them, say, the first 50 files and then all the other files I uploaded I see the message of the upload being successful but in the list of files in this folder I cant see them. I still can see the first 50 files and nothing else. What could cause this problem ?

So I've been having to deal with this issue ever since I upgraded my computer and install a different OS. I haven't had this issue on Windows 7 but CC on Windows 10 has been annoying with CC Files. But after dealing with the issue quite frequently while I'm working on a project that requires a lot of manual file operations, I decided to post on the forums.Whenever I save a file, create a new file, rename a file, create a new folder, rename a folder, or do any file system operations inside the creative cloud folder. Explorer gets really slow until CC is done with whatever it's doing. This also causes an issue where CC says it's unable to sync a file if I rename a file while CC is still syncing the file with the original name.Is there any way to fix this? I tried deleting the local CC Files database and reinstalling CC. I also don't have any other cloud storage software on my computer at the moment but I'm on the verge of moving to a different cloud storage platform or just make a local
I have a problem with the synchronization between Lightroom CC, the iPad and the iPhone. It still remains 2 or 4 images to download, which is never downloaded. What can be done to remedy the situation?
Hey all,I had to put synchronization on hold because, like I said, Creative cloud, is synchronizing everything again.I'm just afraid this is gonna consume my wireless data. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance,Ward
I didn't realize my Home computer wasn't syncing with Creative Cloud. So basically for an extended period of time I was working on files on both my Office computer and Home computer. Now there are different and viable versions of many different files on each computer. I'm afraid if I restart syncing on my Home computer that it will override newer files on my Office computer or vice-versa. SO, if I rename the folders on my Home computer will it create a NEW folder on my Cloud and NOT sync with the original folder name? Bottom line I want to turn on syncing, but I need the latest versions of each file, not the most recently synced. I hope this make sense.
I managed half a dozen iMacs running latest macOS and latest CC.Recently (past week) every Mac has exhibited this problem:InDesign suddenly beachballs for anywhere between 5 seconds to a minute. Some users simply force quit the app, but I decided to look into activity monitor and noticed that as well as inDesign being labelled as 'not responding', the process 'CC Library' was also.It would do this for a few seconds, going on and off and then after a minute or so would return to normal.Anyone know what's going on here?Is CC Library connected to the speed and/or availability of our internet connection maybe?
Hi,I have two questions:1. I have 100 GB storage and i'm out off space. Can i upgrade the storage to more than 100 GB?2. My Online files seem to be there and on but on the desktop version of the folders all the files are missing. Is there a way to get the files off the online CC area and back to the desktop?
Greetings,I've deleted a conflicted copy, but I found today that I deleted the wrong file.It is still on my deleted files folder but when I try to restore it I get the following error:my-adobexd-filename (Conflicted copy from MYPC on 2018-06-07).xd could not be restored - Unexpected token T in JSON at position 0What can I do in order to restore it?Thank you!
I'm trying to better understand how Creative Cloud works. I have an individual membership to CC, and a team with a separate account has shared folders with me to collaborate on a project. I am finding files--some that I worked on and others that I never worked on--in my own laptop's trash. I never moved anything to the trash. These files are taking up a lot of space on my own computer, but I'm nervous about deleting them out of my trash for fear that doing so will somehow delete them from the team's folders. Please help! I've tried using chat to deal with this issue, and they said my computer must have done it???
somehow I get this message in creative cloud: could not sync all file...sync of "filename" failed. But there is no file with this name at the creative cloud. I deleted this file a few weeks ago. How can I delete this message?I have checked online the deleted files en deleted the files in this dossier.Regards, Henk-Jan
Hi, i have one simple question. Why this button keep redirecting me on this Adobe side instead of normal Creative Cloude Files to share. Two days ago it was ok, but today it is not time for sharing or what? Or is it kind of a product design joke?
What's the point in uploading library assets to CC when I can't download it from the same place? The whole point in sharing my assets library on the cloud is to download them myself from wherever I am and/or to share them with collaborators that needs to download the same files. For instances 200 vector symbols from within a library containing all the branding material from a client. But all I'm able to is to view, rename, copy to another assets profile or delete the files! Kinda pointless don't you think? Do I have to stuff everything into that Files section and ask people to download a choice of 156 icons from there one by one? Doubt that will fly well with anyone. When I zip them and share as .zip under Files I loose all previews so then no one knows what their looking at. And if I add XD files under Files in CC every single file gets automatically zipped! What's the point in that? Seems to me that I'm better off renting some random cloud service with better sharing functionality.P
Hi Everyone,One of my users is using Adobe CC 3.8.0.310, Indesign CC 2015.4 Release (11.4.1.102) as well as Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 Release (20.1.0) on a iMac Retina 5K 27" Late 2014 Model running OS X Yosemite v10.10.5The user had been able to add Graphics, Styles and Colors to the CC Library available in InDesign up until 2 weeks ago, when faced with the following problem:All of the buttons here are grayed out, and I have no idea how to fix it, I have tried the followingFull Reinstall of all Adobe Products and Adobe CCDeleting the files of the OOBE folder in App Support, while logged in and while not logged in.Deleting the CoreSync *.db files in CoreSync Folder under Adobe App Support, while logged in and not logged in.Logging out of the user's account in CC and signing in as someone else.Logging out of the user's account, restarting the PC, relogging into the user's account.Restarting the PC.I'm so out of ideas! Please help!
Hello all,Let me give you some basic background on syncing problems with CC:I used to have all the assets (InDesign, Photoshop, etc along with graphic files) synced to Creative Cloud. I work at Maryland School for the Deaf. Anyway, some months ago, the school announced that Google Drive was changed to Drive Filestream. To share the assets with certain colleagues, I moved them to Drive Filestream but found the Filestream too slow to use so I moved the assets back to CC folder. Apparently, the sync with such assets was broken. I copied some assets and brought them home to test on my computer (I have CC at home too as part of my school business). They still won't sync!I'm desperate to undo the damage that was caused by using Google Drive Filestream. How can we do that? See attached. No sync symbol on these assets. Again, they won't sync at home and work! I have several colleagues waiting for me to collaborate with them. Your help will really be appreciated!Larry
Hi. The synchronization is not completed. The process has been going on for hours.Hallo.Ich habe mein System neu aufgesetzt. Nach App Installation schließt der Datei-Sync-Prozess nicht ab.Danke für Eure UnterstützungWIN10 64Bit; Adobe CC Sync Version 3.1.0.8; CC Version 4.6.1.393Nachricht geändert durch Sylke Hofmann
I am aware that the mobile Creative Cloud Android app allows me to mark files to be available offline. I would, however, like to mark entire folders and their contents as available offline, is there any way to do that without having to mark every file individually?
For months the cloud has been failing to sync certain files that do not even exist on my computer.Following the error messages provided leads to inclusive answers due to the fact that none of the directions seem to go into what I am having an issue with.I have attached photos displaying the issue I am having, again these files do not exist.Any answers are appreciated. Please note this does not seem to be a problem with lack of storage space, even when storage is in surplus issue persists.
I have the exact same problem. - Have restarted, tried to switch on/off sync, no go.- Have uninstalled the desktop app and reinstalled. No go. - Have (as adviced in an old thread) removed db files from CoreSync folder in Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/CoreSync, no go.- Restarted my Mac several times, still same error. File is removed from my Mac, trash bin is emptied. The file isn't present in CC Web nor Archive there as I've emptied the archive too. Still gets this sync error message for a file that doesn't exist either on my Mac or in the Cloud. Just realised it was actually a folder with several old designs, but still, it shouldn't matter. That folder with it's files doesn't exist anymore.
Hi,I'm using Creative Cloud Files since the beginning, on multiples Windows machine, and it was verry good, i've got 90Go of files. The files synchronized in less then 10 hours. We moved to Macbook pro 1 week ago. And my files aren't synchronized yet ... I think that the mac was on approximately 50 hours ... and i think it synchronized only 25Go of 90Go.Is there a problem on mac ?
We are having the same issues, in fact these are ongoing issues with CC storage. I've spent hours on the phone with Adobe but still no resolution to the problem. I cannot get certain files to either sync or files update on the website. I'd like to know why Adobe an't seem to get its act together on this.
Hi!I right now have a big issue with Creative Cloud Files. Problem: For some unknown reason CC told me that I used 20.5GB of my 20GB. What I have done so far:- deleted files locally on PC- checked online if the files are deleted serversided as well- emptied the trash can. Now there are no files locally, on the server or the trash. Still 95.8% of 20GB are used. Where does this come from?
