Why does syncing take so long? 2GB is taking 215 hours
So I have activated CC on 2 Macs (Mac Pro and Macbook Pro Retina) about 8 months ago. On my Mac Pro everything is working fine but on my Macbook Pro i have some issues since a few months. Creative Cloud Desktop won't sync files anymore (not upload not download). I uninstalled creative cloud desktop and reïnstalled it but that didn't work either. The loading indicator keeps spinning like shown below:However it will sometimes shows that files are synced (which they are not).I even tried removing every local creative cloud file in the creative cloud folder. But that didn't work either. Can someone please help me! It is very frustrating as i will always have to login on the creative.adobe.com website to acces my files. Thanks in advance!EDIT: After a little more research i saw that the process "Core Sync" is not responding in the Activity Console. I also have some typekit fonts which should be synced but aren't. I only get this screen in de CC for Desktop
This message appears when I try to load this page: Download Center : Adobe Creative Cloud"We're working quickly to resolve the issue and we're sorry for the delay. Please check back or see our status site for updates. Also, help is available in the Creative Cloud forums."Any news about this error?
I am getting a "There was a problem syncing some files" prompt. This has been static for about 5 days. Any thoughts on what is causing this would be appreciated, thanks...
I've upgraded to the team membership from an individual membership but CC is not showing the increase in storage. It does show under my administration page that the storage is there but the app itself and web storage aren't updating. Do I need to do something to do so or will it just take time to switch over?
Hello...When i define a new graphic icon to one or more libraries, they are set to default "folder" icons after a moment. It looks like the sync process under CC is doing that, because other folders / icons outside CC-sync are not reset.Am I the only one having that problem?YoursLennart Jessen, Denmark
I would like to upload a file for a client and have it expire (lock them out of it) at a prescribed time, say, 2 days after delivery. Any way to put a time limit on a file?
Creative Cloud is a really great concept, but in practice it is not very reliable. I subscribe to the whole enchilada "CC" on a Mac with all the latest s/w and tons of RAM, but I keep getting all these error messages. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any suggestions.Brad Dye, editorThe Wireless Messaging News
I've tried uploading two separate PSD files from my Mac. Neither filename contains special characters. The extension for each is PSD. The files pass multiple virus checks. One files is about 650MB while the other is about 900MB. They are the largest PSD files that I have. Neither will upload either through the web interface nor the CC app. I have plenty of space left on CC. The files just fail about 50-60% of the way through upload. It's frustrating because the limits specified by Adobe are 1GB for web upload and 5GB for CC app, and that's the only thing I can imagine that would be preventing these uploads. What is happening? How can I get these files into CC?
I've been using the CC file storage for a month. I recently uploaded a bunch of new data and got a warning that I'd exceeded my 20 gb limit. When I went into the archive, I started deleting files and folders, but soon get an error message that asked me to "please try again". Deleting ceased to work.I've since completely emptied the Creative Cloud folder on my computer, but when I go to Creative Cloud.com it shows I've "used" 13.2 gb of my data and, strangley, three folders of my files continue to appear. When I try to go to the archive, I get a message: "Page Not Found". Seems as though it doesn't exist anymore or there's no way for me to access it.Through all of this, file synching continues unless I pause it.I'd like to just clean everything out and start again, but it seems there's no way to access the archive. I'm running the latest version of CC desktop on Windows 7 and use other apps such as Indesign, Photoshop, etc.Any ideas?
I have exactly the same problem. I saved now all my files outside my CC folder. There is still an empty folder which I cannot delete. I renamed it "EmptyFolderToDelete". A few days ago I talked to 2 agents on online chat, they couldn't help me and promised customer support would contact me. Nothing happend. Please trash that folder and reinitialize CC structure.
I am unable to access the folders and files that my team members have uploaded to the creative cloud. When I go to my "files" tab on the creative cloud desktop and I see this:When I open the folder I see no files. I also don't see any files online even though I know there are some there. Two of our team members have been able to share files on the cloud but I am still unable to. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program (twice) and nothing changes. I also tried uninstalling the program, changing the OOBE folder name in my adobe program files, and reinstalled the program. This also didn't work. I need to be able to access these cloud files ASAP. Any suggestions?
HiI'm having problems syncing my files on the Creative Cloud using the desktop App.All my files on my main computer at work are fine and access is all good. The problem is when I get home and want to work I can't access the files on my laptop. They are not all there. There seems to be some of the folders but some of them have no files in them and there are alot of files missing. Can you suggest any remidies to fix this.CheersRachel
I believe the subject of this question is self-explanatory.I have a bit less than 50 gb of data in my Creative Cloud Drive and I'm consistently getting this error message.Already tried to "pause" and "resume" sync a few times. Already restarted the computer.I'm running Mac OS X - Mavericks (10.9.2) in a Macbook Pro Retina in case that matters.Thank you very much for your help,Jonathan

We are subscribers to Creative Cloud, and we have installed CC programs on the laptop for travel, and the desktop for the main office. However, we will be doing some traveling in few weeks that we didn't want to take our laptop and were hoping to get by with the Ipad. All we need access to are the images stored on our Creative Cloud account. I haven't been able to figure out how to access them from the Ipad. Is this a matter of not being able to use more than two devices? Thanks,Michelle
im uploading from my laptop and when I get to my desktop and login to CC the files are not showing up?? please help thanks
After uploading a pdf file with spreads to the Cloud for a group of collaborators to check, they actually couldn't zoom in to read the text. At the end I had to send the file by email and got the comments by mail too, which is something I really want to avoid to achieve more effective workflow. I'd really appreciate if the zoom tool functioned properly and that the people I share the files with could mark and comment on individual spreads/pages. Even better if you could somehow mark/tick the comments that you've dealt with to see which ones are solved and which are not.
Some things for the wish-list.There seems to have been a couple of nice improvements added to CC files in the last few days - especially breaking up the display into bite sized chunks (EG 1-200 of 850 files) Much better! Could we have a little more please, like (1-200) (201 -400) (401 - 600) (601 -800) (801 - 850) - select the chunk you want? Also, when I have finished looking at any enlargement in particular I get sent back to File number 1. Couldn't I please go back to where I came from??While I am at it - is there a maximum size to upload - I couldn't load a file of 26.9 megs, but when I downsized to less than 25 it went through fine.
I put a sent a file to the archive folder now I cannot seem to locate the archive folder. How do I get to it?
I've been saving my work files for InDesign on Creative Cloud for over a year. Each file is 75.5 MB. Only a few have been archived...so I have plently of space.3 weeks ago, I switched to Shaw Cable (British Columbia) from another local provider.Since then, I can't upload or download my files to or from Creative Cloud. The blue bar moves slowly...stops and everything quits.I've been on the phone with Shaw Tech Support.10 MBPS is what we're getting.Speed and connections all check out. No conflicts with router. But still...no uploads or downloads complete. They have no answers. This weekend we tried my son's service in Seattle. It worked fine. Also tried at a different location in Seattle...and it also worked. So what's wrong with Shaw Cable? Please help if you can.Thank you
Hi, I watch the videos of Creative Cloud Page but my doesn't seem like that, I don't have same options and I can't download a folder for example. Can 't be a folder shared? Thanks
