Hello ADE teams, I bought a ebook with DRM Adobe, so I can just open in ADE. On my Mac it works well, but on my iPad (iPad Air 3rd generation - version 17.0.3) the first pages are right and the letters start to vanish and then all pages are blank. Even the manual file about how to use has the same problem (photos attached).I need to be able to use the book in my iPad too... Can you help me please?Thanks in advance!

When I'm viewing ePubs in ADE that I have created using Sigil, I'm getting blank pages randomly throughout. Is anyone else having this issue? And if so, how have you resolved it? Thanks.

Tenho um EBook a funcionar num computador "Velho" autorizado sem um ID, agora queria abrir este EBook no meu compçutador novo com o meu ID  mas recebo a msg "Não foi possivel fazer download, erro ao obter licença. I hadn’t had any trouble uploading books bought from Kobo until a week ago, when I purchased a new one and encountered the error "E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT." I contacted both Kobo and Adobe, but neither could help me solve the problem.   I tried following the method posted here, but nothing has worked so far.   I pay for Adobe Creative Suite, and even though I know this is a free program, it is frustrating that Adobe still hasn’t addressed a problem affecting so many people.   I can't open open any book bought in Kobo, even though It's 2025 and apparently this is still a problem not adressed by Adobe. 

I tried the solution referenced here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions-discussions/ereader-not-authorized-to-open-this-book/m-p/9489945#M52484 but it didn't work or I didn't understand it properly.I borrowed and then downloaded a book from the library, it opens in ADE, I transfer to my device in ADE, I disconnect my device and after it finishes fulfilling I try to open it - error that it's not authorised.I have reauthorized both ADE and my device, downloaded the books again, multiple times.This started happening in January and I haven't been able to use my ereader since.Help!

Best, Every time I try to authorize my computer, I get the message 'connection error'.'Digital Editions cannot connect to the activation server'. Nevertheless, I do have a connection to the WiFi. I have also tried different WiFi's. Can anyone help me?Thanks in advance!

version  4.5.12.0.only one user/machineFaulting module name: rmsdk_wrapper.dll We have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and ensure to remove the My Digital Editions folder in the documents directory prior to the reinstall.  The software will run if we launch it as administrator, but this is not possible for the user as they do not have local admin permissions.  any guiance is appreciated.

I am attempting to Erase my Adobe Digital Editions authorization but it says my password is wrong. I originally authorized ADE using OverDrive. Is there any way that this password can be reset?

I'm ready to pull my hair out. I borrowed a book from the libby app a week ago, it was fulfilled through ADE and away I went reading my delightful book. A week later I have now spent HOURS trying to read another book. I have tried downloading three different books from libby, non of them will open. I keep getting an... "Unable to open.... errors encountered in this item" blurb. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the ADE app many times, I have deleted the device authorizations and restarted again, returned and reborrowed books, deleted and redownloaded book files.....I have tried every solution I can find in the forum posts but all of them are from a few years ago. ADE is apparantly the only way I can transfer a library borrowed Ebook onto my kobo....and it's not working even though it was fine a week ago. Help please! 

   I open Google books as epub with a digital edition, but all the letters are broken. So when I look at the app, it says there's a bug in the digital edition app. They tell me not to use it for a while. Is the app okay? I didn't know I was the only one, so I came to ask.   There was a problem before ㅠㅠNow there's another problem like this. 

Recently Digtal Editions freezes when trying to load an ebook, either a new one or one in my library.This seems to have started after I loaded the Windows 11 Feb 2025 update.The issue got better after I renamed the My Digital Editions folder to My Digital Editions.old - I could see the books in my library. They still don't open.The only way to close Dig editions is to close it in Task Manager. 

I downloaded a book from NetGalley but it just downloads a tiny acsm file. When I try to open the file, Adobe Digital Editions says "Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY." I found instructions online that say to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions (https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions-discussions/quot-error-getting-license-license-server-communication-problem-e-act-not-ready-quot/td-p/7981736)but at step 3 Digitl Editions says "Unable to erase authorization. Please try again after some time."

I get the "Error! Check Activation" error when I try to add a Kobo ebook, URLLink.acsm, to my library. I am told that I must deactivate DE and then reactivate it but I can't because I don't remember my password and can't reset it because the email address is no longer valid. So, how can I change my email address to complete this task to add to my library? Why, oh why, do software companies not provide an easier way to fix such conditions?

Does anyone know of a book publisher that will publish electronic books in PDF format?  I wrote a book in Word and converted it to PDF and now find that Amazon, Barnes&Noble, and most others will only publish in EPUB format.  Epub doesn't work for my nonfiction book because of all the sophisticated formatting I used, such as turning some pages landscape and internal hyperlinks.  PDF handles everything great and is compatible with any electronic devices.  Writing the book was easy compared to selling it.

Is it possible to configure an other folder than MyDocuments to store the ebooks in? I'd like to have the books on a different disk.

Hello, I'm a former customer of adobe products and I'm creating this post to request for linux support on digital editions.I bought an ebook some time ago and I wish to read it on my linux distribution (fedora). I doubt this one post will change anyone's mind but I've given up trying anything else. I don't wish at the moment to buy a windows license, nor buy a mac (I have a Windows machine at a separate location in a different city but I rarely visit it. I already registered my ebook on that machine, not with my ID). As such, I don't have the means to read the book that I payed money for. Please, if it is in any way possible, can someone please create a linux version of this at some point? I'm willing to pay money for it. Please!

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my MacBook Air, but I can't deauthorize the Adobe ID (it was automatically authorized after the download with my email address). I need to deauthorize it to reauthorize it and see if the books sync with my iPad because my MacBook Air is not loading the books authorized with my Adobe ID.

HelloI have a library of over 300 books. I know I can sort various parameters, but how do I search for a particular book title, or a particular author? There is no search bar from the 'home' screen of ADE. Thanks

It has been said that architects should be forced to live in the buildings they design; likewise, programmers should be forced to use the software they create.  I wonder if anyone at Adobe has actually tried using ADE to read something?  It's infuriating to use.  The fonts are ugly.  The response is slow.  But I'm forced to use this program because my university library now only provides this version as opposed to the simple PDF version I enjoyed before.  Is there any way to export to a PDF so I don't have to use your awful software?

So I did try and deleted the app and downloaded it again. I did accept it on Firewall. I did everything. And still, my ebooks, that I downloaded from an online library won't open. It tries to open them but then it doesn't do anything and I can't even close the program. I am currently using the newest version on a Mac. I never had this problem on a windows. It stays like this forever, it doesn't do anything.
