Digital Editions

I have an iPad with overdrive installed and for the last 2 years borrowed ebooks & audiobooks from my library on that iPad.  Then overdrive started glitching, not responding to tapping on screen to sign in etc (this is NOT the iPad problem as all other apps DO work) so I uninstalled Overdrive and reinstalled it.  Since I reinstalled it I can still borrow audiobooks from my library but I cannot borrow eBooks. It tells me to authorise and takes me to the authorise screen. Then when I press "authorise" nothing happens. Nada. Nothing. I only have 3 devices authorised when I check by logging into ADD, apparently including this one.I've checked all the forums, tried your chat, tried twitter. No-one seems to be able to help me.   I've also tried to authorise it directly via the settings on ADD app on my iPad and it also gives me an error "Error Digital Editions encountered an error while activating."I've been trying to fix this glitch for 4 days now and my patience is

I gave my mom a Kobo Glo for Christmas, but I can't get Adobe Digital Editions to work with it properly. I installed ADE 2.0 on her Windows XP machine and it recognized and authorized the Kobo, but when I try to open a library book on the Kobo, the cover appears and then the screen goes black and I'm returned to the main menu. The book is then marked as Finished. Other DRMed books on her Kobo (free ones from the Kobo Store) won't open, but display an error message: "Oops! This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID [etc]..."I've tried some of the suggestions I've seen here, including deleting the authorization on the device and reconnecting. I've also tried deleting the Digital Editions folder on the Kobo and reconnecting. Nothing appears to be resolving this problem. I guess the next step would be to revert the Kobo back to factory and start all over. Any other suggestions? J> (on behalf of my mom on

I paid for an ebook in the .acsm ( Adobe Digital Edition) format and did read it very well and it wont load into my sony reader as I only have the 500 not the new one. Is there any way to change the file format to either .pdf or .txt??? Because I would really like to read this book. Thanks for any replies.

Want to transfer e-books from computer to tablet. when I connect tablet to computer, it does not show up on ADE in computer. I have ADE on computer as well as tablet. The tablet shows my Adobe ID but does not show a prompt to authorize the device or enter password.Computer OS: windows 10. Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab A.Any other way I can transfer the books?Thanks.

Hi, I just bought an epub book, and Adobe Digital Editions just try to open... and can't. Is it a bug with Digital Editions, the book, or the new update of Windows ? Should I just wait a few days and try an other time, or try to find a solution by myself ? So, I downloaded a book from vlebooks and authorized adobe digital editions on android as well but when I click on the downloaded .ascm file, it takes me to play store to download the supported app even though adobe digital editions in already downloaded and authorized. I tried the same for windows 10 and it worked fine.

I am in the unfortunate situation of being forced to use Adobes Digital Edition. No Linux version available and on Windows I can not activate it (Digital Editions ecountered an error on the activation server) Any words of advice?

I would love to see the ability to increase the font size of my textbook to my choice.  I find the 2x not enough and the 4x too big.  Can adobe look into the ability to change this feature?  I hope so.  I will be continuing school and I would like to continue to buy my textbooks digitally.  

Pleae help me figure out how to transfer audiobooks that I borrow from the library through Overdrive to my ipod.  This has only been a problem since I updated my Mac.  The only option I have now is to listen on my phone through Libby or on my Mac.

I use an Android 10 tablet to read my library of sotware training manuals. These are all DRM protected epub books, and only readable in a very few pieces of software as a consequence. I used to use Bluefire reader, but it seems to have fallen into disrepair and is no longer supported as far as I can tell. So I need ADE to work efficiently!  But I have two problems: Firstly, performance is poor. After 'turning' a page, it takes ADE several seconds to recover before it's possible to turn the next one. So flicking rapidly through to find the right page is very slow and tedious. Secondly, I have a bluetooth keyboard paired with the tablet, and would like to be able to turn pages, navigate to/from the library, go to specific page numbers etc using keyboard commands. But none of this seems to be possible.  Are there solutions to either of these? Assuming not... Adobe, can I make a feature request to have some keyboard navigation added into the software. And

Good morning,two moths ago I was able to view my ebooks by using ADE. Now, after my PC has been repaired (motherboard replacement), I obtain several errors due to license/communication to license server.From ADE I see my PC is properly authorized, but I'm not able to open any file.How can I do to fix this issue and to return to the previous correct functionality?Thank you and best regardsMatteo 

Yesterday my Adobe Digital Editions took a long time trying to load library and it didn't succeed at all.I updated the version downloading the latest version but it doesn't work the same. What can I do? Thanks. Elisa

Bonjour,Impossible d'afficher les livres dans la bibliothèque (qu'il s'agisse de adobe digital editions 4.5.11 ou bien adobe digital editions 3 . Lorsque je veux les ajouter, l'application indique qu'ils sont déjà dans la bibliothèque et qu'il est donc impossible de les ajouter...Avez-vous une solution ?merci !
