Digital Editions

Desde la web del libro le doy a descargar ebook y me dice: Error al obtener la licencia. Problema de comunicación con el servidor de licencias:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12. Cuando intento borrar la autorización me pone: No se puede borrar la autorización. Inténtelo de nuevo más tarde. Mi ordenador es un MacBook Pro de 2015 y ya tengo guardado dentro de la aplicación 3 libros con los que no tuve problemas. 

D.E. hasn't worked for me for months.  It continuously freezes when I import or try to open a book - double-clicking on a book does nothing and when I try to close the app down to restart I get "D.E is not responding. Shut down or wait?".    I've Googled the issue and it seems that others have experienced similar, but none of the recommended fixes  have worked for me eg renaming my folder to "old" or reverting back to an older version (4.0).  Prior to this problem, I've used D.E. without issue for a few years.  Searching the other posts on this forum I see I am not the only one who is completely frustrated that I am forced to use this product because of DRM, but Adobe appears to be doing nothing to fix the issues.  

My Documents folder is on an iCloud drive. I keep experiencing "Missing" banners on my eBooks in ADE 4.5. Selecting the "Show in Finder" option for one of these books, I saw the book was unexpectedly marked as offline in Finder. Workaround: Clicked the cloud icon on the book file to download it, and the "Missing" banner was gone. Clicked the cloud icon for the folder and my other "Missing" book files were downloaded as well. I would like to ssee ADE detect and address this condition without my intervention.

I can't open a book, and I can't deauthorize my accont.. It say I need to wait.. I have a mac.. What to do?

프로툴즈에서 제공되는 ebook을 노트북에서 열려고 하여, adobe digtal editions을 안내에 따라 설치하였습니다. 그러나, 책을 열려고 보니까 "이 항목은 공급업체에 의해 ID에 대해 승인되었으므로 이 컴퓨터에서 (프로툴즈 교재 name) 을 열수 없습니다." 그 아래로, "컴퓨터를 승인하여 이 항목을 열려면 enook 공급업체를 선택한 다음 이 항목과 연결된 로그인 lD 및 암호를 입력하고 [승인] 단추를 클릭하십시오." 라고 되어있어서 공식홈페이지의 어도비 아이디와 비번을 몇번이고 클릭해봤는데 및에 빨간 글씨로 "입력한 공급업체 계정은 열려고 하는 항목과 연결되어 있지 않습니다. 다시 시도하십시오." 라고 뜹니다. 제가 어도비 아이디 비번을 맞게 적어놓은 것은 확실합니다. 그렇기에 공식 홈에도로그인 할 수 있었고요. 공급업체란을 바꾸려고 해도 바꿔지지 않고 , 처음엔 잘 열렸는데, 어도비로 컴퓨터 인증 한 후로 열리지 않고 다른 컴퓨터로 해봤는데도  "라이센스를 얻는 중 오류가 발생했습니다. 라이센스 서버 통신 문제." 라고 뜹니다. 해결방법을 알려주세요,,,

Goodnight. I own some ebooks that can only be read in adobe digital editions. A few months ago my computer, whose operating system is windows 10, was updated and adobe no longer opens on my computer, in previous versions of windows it worked. When I run the problem solving it appears that the program is incompatible with my computer. I wrote to adobe support and they told me they discontinued adobe flash last year and without it adobe digital editions doesn't work. HiI'm using Borrowbox on my windows 10 laptop and borrow ebooks from the library. I've never had any problem downloading books to read on my Kobo ereader, using Adobe Digital Editons 3, but I'm now getting an error message as follows:Unable to downloadError getting License. HiI have a new notebook and reinstalled adobe digital editions to read my ebook, I have Adobe digital editions version 4.5.11.187303. I just updated my password succesfully. In the adobe digital Editions, I typed my Adobe ID & password then got a message:"the vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. ho acquistato un libro dalla biblioteca regolarmente con Adobe, l 'ho caricato su kobo.il file esiste ma quando tento di aprirlo, la copertina è nera, dice che ereader non è autorizzato ad aprire questo libro.ho tolto e rimesso le nuove volte, e caricato il libro più volte ma niente da fare.cosa devo fare visto che il numero verde non risponde più? 

I have a kobo aura. I used it exclusively to borrow book from the library through Borrowbox: I go onto the library site, dowload the books I want to read, the downloaded files are transferred automatically onto the Abode Digital Editions on my laptop. I hook up the Kobo which appears on the ADE windows and I drag the file onto it.  I have done this too many times to count.Today my Kobo wouldn't appear on the window.  I eventually figured out that under my account on the Kobo, it says "Not authorised with Adobe Digital Editions".What?? How??? And how can I rectify this? I contacted kobo but they weren't helpful.

Trying to add a KOBO ereader to ADE, despite the device showing in the file menu, it fails to show in the ADE menu. The guides say to look under Devices tab, but there is no Devices tab, and the menu looks completely different to the screenshots given on the help site. Using an ACER Chromebook R13 & KOBO N249 ereader. Can anyone offer any advice as to what I can try next?

Bonjour, je souhaite pouvoir transférer des livres via ADE sur ma liseuse kobo H20. Tous les livres que je télécharge via la bibliothèque sont accessibles dans ADE et quand je transfère le livre sur ma liseuse il est inscrit que ma liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre. alors que les autorisations sont actives et que tout a été actualisé. kobo me suggère d'installer ADE 3.0 mais mon ordinateur mac est trop récent et n'accepte pas la version antérieure.Avez vous une solution ?merci

ADE set up a new account with my current email address because I no longer had access to an old one.  I set up a new kobo but when I tried to authorize it on ADE it said I had reached the limit for devices athourized on my new account.  The old kobo is broken.  How do I deauthoize it on my current ADE account. 

After authorising I failed to download am .acsm book, there appeared ALREADY fulfilled by another user. So, I erased my ID (thinking I might do it again), but i doesn't work as I already registered from my e-mail. Anyway I am not sure where the problem is and if a new ID will help downloading or not. I've been trying for hours already but no luck. Please help.

Hi, everything was going well until my adobe digital reader 4.5 stopped working. Had to download the 3.0 version wich went fine. But trying to acces my book and I have to authorize my computer again and I forgot the Adobe ID linked to the book is there anyway for me to retreive my book please help

Can anyone know how to check how many computer have been using the adobe digital editions ? I cannot access my id, but i think i have not reach the limit. and what is the max limit for adobe digital editions per account?

I successfully loaded an ebook onto my Nook Glowlight through my computer from our public library last month.  After finishing the book, I downloaded another ebook from the same library and using the same computer.  The ebook shows up in the Nook library but only as a book box with the title but nothing else.  I tap the book and I get a box that says "Please enter an Adobe ID (email address) and password."  I entery my Adobe ID email and password.  Nothing happens, except the same box showing that has the same message: "Please enter an Adobe ID (email address) and password."  The Nook is connected to the internet.  The library book is loaded into Overdrive and Adobe Digital Editions on my computer and when I click on the Nook icon in ADE the book is there.  I do not know why I can't log in to ADE on my Nook but everything I am entering is the correct username email and password.  

Dear friends, I have an interesting situation. I would be very grateful if I could receive some kind explanation to what is going on. I have recently been part of creating an advanced e-book, with a lot of hi-resolution images together with text. Now a professional publishing enterprise has helped us make an ePub version of the creation. However, I have tried to open the file with various different softwares (on Windows 10): Bibliovore, Freda and ePub3 Reader, and for each of these three, the formatting of the book ended up as a total disaster. But however, when I opened the very same file in Adobe Digital Editions, everything looked absolutely fine! Would anyone be able to explain to me what is going on here? I confess to being completely unfamiliar with the ePub file format and what it really is and how it is constructed.  Best regards,  

I'm was running ADE on a Win7 system.  Version 4.5.3.162045 kept prompting me to update and i kept saying I'll get around to it.  When I finally did, the update link was gone and if I load an overdrive book, it crashes. Is there a way for me to update without uninstallng and reinstalling ADE, as my computer is already authorized?Can I just download the latest version without unstalling 4.5.3? And does the version 4.5.11 work on win7?  Thanks for any help.    

Hello,  I bought a book and they sent me acsm.  fileI didn't have adobe digital so I downloaded it, however I do have an Adobe.  I download the book into the digital 4.5,  the full book download,  but after I close the app and try read the book it does not allow me,  it says its missing a file. The other books are fine, I don't have any problems with it.
