Digital Editions

When I try to authorize the device it writes that - ADE encountered an error on the activation server.Any ideas what to do?

La versione 4.5 di Adobe Digital Editions si intalla correttamente sul PC con windows 10, ma poi non si riesce a far partire il programma. Le vechhie versioni 3.0 e 4.0 invece funzionano regolarmente. Cosa posso fare?

So I have installed ADE 4.5 on my computer with windows 10 and I was using it without a problem till yesterday. I shut down my computer yesterday after my reading, then today morning when I restarted my computer and tried to open digital editions 4.5, it will not open. I have tried uninstalling it and then re-installing it all over again without any success. I have not updated, installed, or changed anything since yesterday when digital editions was working properly. How do I fix this problem?Thanks in advance.

Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 is installed in Windows 10 Home.  The pages cannot be turned when scrolling down the page.  Please tell me how to fix it.  Thanks

Before upgrading my windows 7 to Windows 10, I just dragged all my documents from the explorer's left panel's documents entry to my thumb drive.After upgrade, I tried to restore them, but I found all files had dragged out to the thumb drive without any directory structure; they were all dumped into one folder.In Windows, when I drill down through C drive there is now a structure of four directories under C:\Users\username\Documents\My Digital Editions:Annotations, Manifest, Tags and Thumbnails.Which of my files should go back into which directories???E.G. I have a book named Mybook.pdf, which is big so must be the book.Then a file named Mybook.pdf.xmlMybook.acsmMybook.pdf.pngMybook.pdf.annotthen files named borrowed.xml,  purchased.xml,  welcome.epub, welcome.epub.annot,  welcome.epub.png, welcome.epub.xml.Also three other pdf files without any matching named files. Perhaps pdf books without any metadata? Where the heck should I restore each file to?

I'm using Adobe Digital Editions to read light novels from Google Play on PC，however，vertical text is aligned down in this software, which is not our habit. I haven't found an option to adjust it.

i am not able to read ebooks in ADE it shows only few lines and shows error " content locked". thank you

The pop-up images for my ebook are not working.  The feature for the ebook is called a "toolbox" and to access it, you are to click on a link that produces a pop-up image.  When I hover over the "toolbox" icon/picture, there is no link

I have an iPhone 6 (12.4.8.) and an older MacAir (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.). The Macbook does not allow to install ADE; only the iPhone does.Successfully downloaded a protected e-book with ADE on the iPhone.How can I get it on my MacAir now? I'm even a paying Adobe customer with username & PW on some other computers at work. But as said, my own MacAir is not supporting it.Thank you for any ideas! 

Whenever I open my Adobe Digital Edition to read I'm always getting this error "Unable to open book. License key is damaged" and it was not like that before. I don't know what I did wrong. I don't know how to fix this error. Please help me out. Thanks

I was able to download the android version of the app on my fire tablet, authorize it, and turn on the auto download feature, however nothing downloads. I tried linking it to my computer based ADE, Windows edition, but My computer does not recognize the fire tablet.

I'm trying to zoom into an epub file downloaded from my university library. I already have an ID.Without being able to zoom the file is absolutely unreadable !!!!!! it's tiny !!!!!!!How can I fix this quickly ?! it is unacceptable that the problem cannot be solved !!!!

Hello,I have ADE 4.5 for Windows, had authorized the computer with an Adobe ID that I now have deleted. Now I cannot deauthorize it, because it requieres the password, but because the ID is already deleted, I cannot complete the deauthorization and I am stuck, cannot log in with my new ID. I have tried to uninstall and install again, but still the old ID appears automatically and keeps being authorized. Can someone help me please? Can the app be somehow reseted? BR, Hanna 

I'm getting an error when I try to open ANY book in Adobe Digital Editions. I've opened all these books before & without a problem. The error states: "Activation server error code: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 I have uninstalled & reinstalled, but am getting the same error message. I bought a new Windows 10 PC last summer & am not sure if I have tried opening these books on this new PC until now. I may not have tried opening the books since I last opened them on the old Windows 7 PC. Is there something I need to do in order to get the books open on the new PC? My daughter can still open the same books on her laptop.

I've been having trouble downloading books to my kobo via Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) version 4.5.11. I've had to activate and deactivate many times to try to do factory resets etc. I received the error message "E_ACT_TOO MANY ACTIVATIONS". The virtual support says the product is no longer supported to go to the community forums for an answer. The answer led me to this site https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/e-act-too-many-activations.htmlwith a solution to contact Adobe to get the activation count reset, but the Adobe contact said the product is no longer supported, and to post a message hoping someone will answer. Is it just me or is this circular? The solution is to contact them to reset the activation count, but they can't do it as the product is not supported? Or maybe a monitor to the community forum will do it behind the scenes? Trying to deauthorize computer and the email address attached will not recognize my password (even though I know it's the right one).Login automatically 'fills in' the email account and won't let me change it. Only way forward is to enter a password which it keeps telling me is not matching the userID.  Tried to reset password, but it does not send over anything to the email account to allow me to reset. Set up a chat session with Adobe to fix this, and was asked to post the question in this forum for answer instead. Please help!

Most of my epub files have been bought and downloaded with an Adobe ID '( = my email address) , that I have apparently lost.But I have always used the same email address for adobe ID.I can see in the directory ...\My Digital Editions\Manifest, in the xml files my adobe ID : urn:uuid:deb62d10-3118-4b62-bf9f-a90498896200Recently, following the last ADE update, I remove the authorization from my pc , and reactivate a new time the authorization with the same Adobe ID (=email address ) than previously, but the urn:iuuid is no more the same numberIt's two different urn:uuid with one email address ( see files attached, screen capture from a long time with the initial  number , and the new one)I get now the famous "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" error, with "URLLink.acsm".and I cannot open anymore with ADE most of my epub files.My bookseller refuse to send me again the ascm links for all my ebooks ( more than fifty book ). Uso Kob Clara, ma non riesco caricare ebook dalla biblioteca. Mi viene il messaggio Adobe non è in grado di aprire URL perché è un tipo di file non supportato o perché il file è stato danneggiatoHo già segnalato alla biblioteca che mi ha detto di riscaricare, ma nulla è cambiato.Ho già fatto questi passaggi:Open Adobe Digital Editions.Press Control+Shift+D to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.Select Erase Authorization.Click OK and quit Adobe Digital Editions.

windows 10 home version 1903ade version: 4.5 it is not possible to open the programm, even not as admin.i tried several bugfixes like new installation, deactivate defender, rename the folder 'my digital editions' etc.So anybody has a solution?Greets

Hello, Since today, I experience problems with ADE. When the borrowed book from the library is downloaded to ADE library and I try to connect my e-reader, ADE becomes unresponsive. If I disconnect the e-reader, it's ok again. I've tried reinstalling, renaming the ADE folder, older versions of ADE and another account.Nothing works!!I don't understand, it always worked fine!?If somebody has other suggestions, please... Now it's unusable. Many thanks

Siempre me ha funcionado hasta ahora. Es imposible descargarme un libro que he comprado y pagado como tantas otras vees. Me pide la ID de Adobe y la password y no hay forma, me mete en un bucle sin salida. Lamentable

Hello! I just restarted my computer. I saved all my data. The ebook I used to read on this computer now doesnt work. Adobe digital asks me for ID, I gave my ID and it doesnt work. Apparently "this account is not associated with this file". I have one account, one email. 

I downloaded app of Digital Editions the other day and created the account this morning the files does not appear in the app why?
