Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 -is not working if You want to read an E-book from the public library.I just spent an hour to understand why - without result.  

The new update seems to have fixed nothing in terms of allowing text-to-speech reading. I used to be able to do it three times out of ten, and on the rare occasion that it did work, it would stop reading after about a minute and refuse to work again. This is a serious accessibility issue. Most of us who use Mac computers can't access DAISY software, and it would be really nice to be able to read library ebooks on ADE with text-to-speech as an option. Please resolve. This has been a problem with Digital Editions since 2012.

Hi!I'm trying to upload Overdrive library books to my Nook device using ADE.  I authorized ADE on my computer so it lets me transfer the books to my Nook, but then when I try to open the book on the device it says "User Not Activated."  How do I fix this?

I get an error E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. I searched for a solution and it said to email support to reset the count. I did so but they did not do anything except suggest this forum. I just need to open this book for my final.

Hola buenas tardes.Necesito ayuda porque no puedo abrir un libro que compre en la plataforma de Baja Libros.cuando lo intento, me pide el ID de proveedor que ya esta preestablecido y no coincide con el que me proporcionan desde la pagina oficial de bajalibros.com, y luego cmpleto con mi ID y contraseña de adobe y me sigue dando error Donde dice proveedor no me deja hacer cambios, y segun la pagina proveedora del  libro me  da otro ID, que deberia ser:BajaLibros, pero no tengo posibilidad de cambiarlo.Necesito que alguien me ayde, gracias.

I just downloaded an ebook, but as i tried to verify it via Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, the error message: E_LIC-ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOHER_USER pops up. Does anyone know what to do? I've got an ePub with DRM open in Digital Editions on my PC, but Android app on my phone (Galaxy S9 with Android V10) doesn't synch with my library even though I've authorised it and switch on Auto Download. I've tried connecting my phone to my PC and nada. When I try to open the ePub directly on my phone, the app crashes every time.

Using a Mac with High Sierra. Using ADE 4.5.8.182914. When I try to load an ebook, I get the error message "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12", which is a deauthorization error message. I have researched and know that I have to go to Users/[[Your user account]]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. The problem is that there is no Digital Editions in Users/[[Your user account]]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. I've also done a search on my computer for an activation.dat file, but there is none. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE. I've tried uninstalling and installing an older version (3.0) with the same results. Any suggestions?Thanks,Craig

Hello, I would like to transfer my bookmarks that i have on my computer (adobe digital edition) to another computer.My books are not located in "my digital editions" they are in a different location .I did locate the file "My Digital Editions" where the files are located ; in .annot but as soon as i put these files on another computer I do not have the annotations on my books (on my new computer ). I would like to know how to do this its for a reinstallation of Windows and i would like to find my bookmarks especially since I have a lot.Thank you in advance .

Bonjour,je souhaiterai transferer mes marques pages que j'ai sur mon ordinateur (adobe digital édition) vers un autre ordinateur .J'ai bien repérer le fichier "My Digital Editions" la ou se trouvent les fichiers en .annot mais dès que je mets ces fichiers sur un autre ordi je n'ai pas les annotations de mes livres . J'aimerai savoir comment faire c'est pour une réinstallation de Windows et j'aimerai retrouver mes marques pages surtout que j'en ai beaaucoup .Merci d'avance .

Due to software problems I had to reinstall my library app and now have the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS (Similar to https://helpx.adobe.com/de/digital-editions/kb/e-act-too-many-activations.html ) Can somebody help me to get the activation count resetted?

I can download library books to my ADE but cannot move them into my KOBO.  I get a message that I have no permission to copy the book.  I de-authorized and re-authorized my ADE account and tried again to move the book from ADE to my KOBO with not success.  How do I resolve this problem?Bob

Utilisation de Chrome comme navigateur. Nous avons d'abord téléchargé la version 4.5, mais l'application gèle et les livres ne restent pas dans Digital Editions. Nous avons désinstallé 4.5 et installé 3.0, mais même problème. Digital Editions gèle et impossible de rien faire dans l'appli même si le livre y est. Le reste de l'ordi fonctionne bien, mais jamais Adobe Digital Editions. Des solutions? I purchased a book from ebooks.com and when I try to read it or transfer it to my Kobo it says:Errors were encountered to this item and has a link to the file.

When I open ADE on my new Windows 10 pc, it opens to a blank screen. Authorization has been done successfully.

Hello, I have recently downloaded a book to my digital editions and can't read the full text and it sometimes skips over paragraphs. There also isnt an option to scroll down to see the fuller page.

I have downloaded some books borrowed from my library on my iPad. How do I return these from digital editions after I have read them. I don't see any option in the app. I have reached my limit on books that I can borrow and would like to return them asap. 

When I try to open a .acsm file I get a communication error with code E_ACT_NOT_READY. I found on the internet that I then have to delete my authorisation. When I try to do that I get an error that Adobe can't delete my authorisation. I have tried to delete Adobe Digital Editions and reinstall the program but then again I run into the same problem. Can anyone help me?

I am a distributor supplying all of France public libraries.My customers on Mac complain that they can't open our .acsm files. I have the same experience. I have Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 and previously Mojave 10.14.6 and it didn't work on any of them.  When I try to open any .ascm file, I get the same error message : "Connection Error DetectedDigital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."  - My internet connection is just fine. - Our ebook server works well. - Date and time are correct- The ADE server is up and running- The .ascm files are fine, no problem with them. I tried - restarting the computer, - uninstalling and reinstalling ADE, - unauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer, - installing older versions of ADE doesn't work - I get a message that the app needs updatingbut it didn't work. I see on this forum that the problem has been going on since 2013, that there are 7 pages of similar c

CAN SOMEONE FROM ADOBE CONTACT ME? I chatted numerous time on Adobe help pages, but nobody seems to be willing to help me. I registered an Adobe ID to read ebooks from my municipal library. I didn't know there was a limiting counter... And I tried several applications on my phone, my tablet, then a new Android tablet... All of a sudden, I can't come back to the most desirable setup! It says "too many applications". In the Adobe portal, there is no way to manage my devices. In the chat windows, all Adobe employees tell me to come to a forum where it says "contact us". And the contact opens bakc the chat window, circling forever without solving my issue. Is Adobe a serious company? DOES SOMEONE KNOW HOW TO RESET AN ADOBE ID COUNTER AND FLUSH ASSOCIATED DEVICES ON THIS PLANET????
