I downloaded adobe digital editions 4.5.11 for my Mac Os X 10.9.5,  but autorise and un-autorise  in the help menu stays grey.

Bonjour, J'ai acheté des livres ePub en téléchargement sur le site d'un libraire ; cesfichers ePub sont enregistréss  sur ADE (Adobe Digital Edition ). Existe-t-il un moyen de les extraire d'ADE ? Merci. M.

Using ADE on my iPad, I don't see bookshelves, like on my PC. Are they missing in the iOS version? 

Ich kann mich mit meiner Adobe ID nicht auf meinem Ebook Reader anmelden bekomme eine Fehlermeldung.(Adobe Fehlerursache:E_ADEPT_ACCOUNTINFO_CONNECTION_EXCEPTION) Laut Adobe Support sind nicht nicht 6 Geräte aktiviert und es liege nicht an der ID.Wenn ich versuche den Reader mit meiner zweiten Adobe ID zu verbinden klappt dies ohne Probleme, leider kann ich dann die Ebooks nicht lesen weil Sie mit der anderen ID regestriert sind. Wie weiter? 

I have used ADE for years to borrow books from my library & drag onto my Kobo Clara but over 12 months ago it gradually deteriorated & eventually failed completely. I have tried everything recommended by Adobe, uninstalling then reinstalling with different versions & using different browsers without success. ADE appears to download ok but when I try to open it the logo appears showing "Loading Library" - I have let this run for hours but nothing happens, it just hangs there attempting to load. I have had my local computer techs look at the problem but they could not solve it. I am at my wits end & am ready to give up but thought that maybe someone might be able to help. It sure would be appreciated, thanks.

I bring the book to the Adobe icon and then that's when I get the Message:: unable to download . Error getting License. License Sever Communication Problem E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12

I was trying to complete the installation of Adobe Digital Editions and arrived at the authorization screen which asked to enter the Adobe ID and password which I did and got error message: E Adept request expired. What does this mean. Can't proceed with install. Adobe Virtual Assistants were of NO help.

Hello, how does this app work please? Do I need to subscribe and pay monthly? Or do I get a free app usauge with my student ID please. totally new to it but some ebooks would not give me access without ADE app. Thanks.

Can someone tell how meto view in 'Double Page' mode in the latest version of ADE please ? As an eBook app, you would by default default, expect this software to be able to do this simple task (i.e. appearance like a book) or am I wrong ? Solutions citing use of previous releases of ADE which did appear to have this facilty now fail due to more advaced encryption software on the document.So, a lot of us are left with a 'grey-out' facilty which should, arguable, be the default option for reading an eBook.Just because it is 'free' should make no difference to the support for this product. Afterall, it still carries the 'Adobe' hallmark and therefore should be treated accordingly.As this has been going on for yuears Adobe, is it not time you actually had someone resolve this issue once and for all ?

Hi I am George. I have bought a pico e reader and I am having trouble connecting to the ADE to download books. Is ade free? I thought that I had downloaded it? 

Depuis quelques temps ma bibliothèque ne s'ouvre plus et cela sans message d'erreur(la fenêtre "chargement de la bibliothèque" apparait mais cela en reste là), j'ai essayé plusieurs fois de réinstaller ADE sans succès, j'ai même réinstallé Windows 7 sur mon PC sans résultats... Is there an option for dark mode / night view in the andoid app? If so, how to activate it, as of April 2020? None of the historical posts that I see suggesting it exists describe any mechanisms for turning it on that are visible in my (up-to-date according to Google Play) app. (Running on Andoid 9)

After successfully using Digital Editions to download e-books from my library forover 2 years, it suddenly started to tell me there was an 'activation error'.  After goinground in circles trying to fix this, I decided it might be best to 'de-authorise' myj accountand start again.  It didn't allow de-authorisation, telling me to try again later and, if Iselected 'continue' told me I had entered an incorrect password.I've tried uninstalling and re-loading to no effect.  I'm not a clever enough computer user toattempt to follow the Registry fix.  This same problem occurs on both my Windows laptop and desktop.

I have bought 6 ebooks online, and I have imported them in ADE 4.5, I can open them in ADE, but when I transfer them on my E-reader, I cant open them from it. My e-reader has been authorize, and some other book transfer from ADE works, but the last 6 I bought wont open. There is no error message, the book is just blank, or with no page. Any idea ?

Hi, I am using Adobe Editions, on MacOS Catalina and for the first time in many years, I needed to use AE. Inspecting it, Adobe Editions is authorised to an email I used several years ago but expired and no longer exists.  As such I can't erase the authorisation because I have no idea what password I used for it and the email is no longer in existence. Any help would be appreciated, Louie

How do I update from ADE 3.0 to ADE 4.5 ?  Will I have to reload my books?

al descargar ell libro intento abrii'rlo pero me sale el error: ADPT REQUEST EXPIRED, ,he abierto un nuevo ID, y me sigue saliendo el error, desinstalé el programa y lo vuelvo a instalar y sigo con el mismo problema

I download adobe editions but it didn't install and when i try to exort an ebook from indesign to adobe edition it doesn't open the ebook in library and keep loosing my time 

I downloaded the most recent version of ADE for Windows (4.5.11).  It opens but all the bookshelves are missing and I can't download or open any books.  When I click to open my Kobo, ADE closes.  This is what the screen looks like.  Thanks to anyone who can help. 🙂 

All the books in the PC library have appeared in the iPad library automatically as soon as they are downloaded to the PC, except the last one purchased The most recent purchase is visible and readable in the PC library but has not popped up in the iPad library after several hours The book bought a few minutes earlier in the same way has come across to the iPad Anyone have a clue what is happening please?
