Digital Editions

Hello,I tested on multiple eBooks and also sample eBooks that adobe provides online but still cannot copy and paste any text.Steps that I followed:1. Re-installed adobe digital editions to my PC - used windows 7 professional2. cleared cache and cookies and downloaded eBook again from website after removing the previous download3. created Adobe Id and authorized the computer4. Download different ebooks online and tested on them as well but no luck at all.Lastly, I get in tho online chat with one of your staff and they advice below details:case id: ADB-1797527-T0B4I would like to inform you that as you are not able to copy and page the Digital edition, as this is a free product and we do not support this product on live chat or live call but for this issue we do have a dedicated support available in adobe forums. So, I would request you to visit www.forums.adobe.com and post your query over there so that our dedicated team will revert you back with the resolution.No confirmed information

depois  que instalei o windows 10 e retornei o adobe digital edition nele ,perdi toda minha bibliotéca ?

Greetings.We are authorizing our tablets and laptops to use our licensed ebooks with every possible device.So far we have been able to activate 10 tablets and 4 PCs, but as soon as we try to activate another tablet we find such error message (Too Many Activations).We have been told that we had to post in this forum to get this problem fixed.

I cannot access my previously downloaded and purchased books. A real bummer because I need them for a homework assignment due tonight. I am receiving this error on a Macbook. Tried contacting Adobe, and they could not help. Does anyone know how to fix this? I was able to read my purchased books just last week on this app.  Also, when I try to follow the solution steps posted to this community board, the app does not allow me to erase my authorization. 

Adobe has left the Glowlight behind.  One must install ADE 3.0 in order to borrow epub books from the library. I might note that the Adobe License, ADE4510License.pdf, is 14 pages. I suggest Adobe stop spending money on lawyers and instead hire a more capable software engineer who understands the concept of backward compatibility.  And that marketing managers be removed to a safe distance until the product is finished. What is a mystery to me is why the Adobe customer, Barnes & Noble, has put up with this.  

Hi, I am trnsferring bought ebooks (.acsm files) from PC into ADE library to then pass them to ereader.And for the first time i have this error message. I have done all, de-authorize and re-authorize the PC, got the files reloaded by the provided and I uploaded them again , ADE de installed and re installed but nothing seems to work.I have nearly 200 ebooks and never had the problem so far. Thanks for help!

Hallo ! Ich habe stets meine von der öffentlichen Bibliothek geliehenen e - Bücher mit Bluefire Reader heruntergeladen und gelesen. Das gelingt mir nicht mehr seit ich mein iPad IOS aktualisiert habe. Die stete Frage ob ich das E-Buch mit Hilfe von Bluefire Reader lesen möchte kommt nicht mehr. Eine erneute Kontoanmeldung gelingt mir nicht und auch keine Passwortänderungen. /Gabriele 

Hi there,I have an Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) installation on an old PC (still working) and have access to all my purchased eBooks here.The Adobe.ID is linked to my e-mail.It is displayed as follows in ADE:robert.locker@example.com | Adobe ID (urn: uuid: ***** 111111)Now I install ADE on a new PC and log in with my account.However, a different Adobe ID is now displayed.robert.locker@example.com | Adobe ID (urn: uuid: ***** 222222)This means I can no longer download my eBooks.E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER But it is the same user in both installations.I've tries different versions and PCs. everytime the same new ID is shown.With Verion 4.5.11 it is the same than with version 2.0This procedure did even not help:https://helpx.adobe.com/in/digital-editions/using/authorizing-and-de-authorizing-adobe-digital-editions.html The technical support agent from the support chat referred to this forum.Hope someone can help.How do I get the old ID on the new PC? Regards Robe

I have DE 4.5.11 on my Macbook and when I attempt to open an .ascm file on DE, the upload window will freeze once the upload is completed, prompting a force quit. I have redownloaded the file, confirmed that there are no updates to DE, same thing happens every time. The .ascm file works fine on my classmate's Windows laptop. Is there any solution to this? I really need the book for my course and I don't always have access to internet to read the book online.

Is it possible to change the text or background colour to black in latest version 4.5 adobe digital editions on windows 10??

Im no longer able to access a protected ebook on my Samsung Galaxy S9. Have been able to access it for almost a year but not able to since the last few days. Im able to access the ebook from Windows as well as another Android device, but not the Galaxy S9. I can see the ebook but when I try to access the book it continuously loads. Im however able to open the "Getting Started with Adobe..." default ebook. I updated the OS on the Galaxy S9 recently, not sure if this is related. Please advise how to resolve this.   

On my PC (windows 10) I have Adobe digital edition 3.0 and 4.0 and both are working well, but the version 4.5.10 that I have installed correctly, when I try to launch the program it doesn't start and doesn't open the first window

I have been trying to download books from my local library to Adobe Digital Editions. I was prompted to update to version 4.5 last week and did so. Prior to this, I had no problems downloading the books. Since then I have not been able to download to Adobe. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times and with three different versions of Adobe Digital Editions. I have been directed by my local library to go to Default Programs and reset the ascm. For whatever reason, my computer will allow me to choose any other program on my computer except Adobe Digital Editions. I cannot select Adobe Digital Editions as the program to download to book to.  I've tried other programs such as Calibre and my computer will allow me to set the acsm for Calibre. However, my library does not format books for that program, so Adobe Digital Editions is my only option. I've been working at this for about five days and don't know what to do. I downloaded two ebooks from AMS Bookstore for my class to adobe digital editions. I had authorized them without an ID but recently changed some settings on my computer and now I get an error message that says I need to authorize with a vendor ID and I cannot open my books. What can I do to be able to get into my ebooks?

I want to reauthorize my E-Book-Reader (Kobo Glow HD) with my Adobe-ID. But I get the message E_Auth_unexpected_user. I update my adobe Digital Edition to 4.11, delete the Authorisation of ADE and add the authorization again. Which works fine, but I still get the messge E_Auth_unexpected_user when I tried to authorizate my E-Book Reader.

I need to start over with ADE, I have deleted my ID, thinking it would not be recognized when I resintalled but I have now ADE with my deleted ID email and no way to erase authorization or anything else, because said ID is locked by ADOBE.I created a new ID to get on this forum. 

When I down load the digital editions it authorizes with an old email address that is disabled so I can not change the authorization. how can I fix this /

D'abord, incapacité de restituer les prêts numériques, même si j'enlève les livres de la bibliothèque et dans mes fichiers, ils reviennent à chaque fois et lorsque je copie sur ma liseuse Kobo, la couverture est noire et je n'ai pas le droit d'ouvrir, le message est :  Ce livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Ayant bloqué l'accès au livre, vous devez renouveler l'accès au livre et l'importer à nouveau en utilisant ADE. Et on me dit de consulter Kobo.help. Ce que j'ai fait. J'ai fait toutes les démarches pour réparer le compte de la liseuse, reconfigurer, enlever et remettre l'autorisation pour l'ordinateur et le périphérique. Je ne sais plus quoi faire pour avoir accès aux livres que l'emprunte. Avez-vous une solution?

I cannot cancel the authorisation of my Adobe Digital Edition. It was linked to a very old account and I have not the password anylonger. No "forgot your password" option. Have reinstalled the program but no change. Can you help? thank you. 

Nach der Installation 4.5.11 und dem ersten Versuch ein Magazin zu lesen habe ich gedacht ich habe eine uralte Windows 98 Version installiert. Die Software ist eine Katastrophe!!! Es ruckelt und zuckt und dauert ewig ehe sich die Seite bewegt, kein Touch, umständliches Zoom usw.Hallo  ist Euch das nicht peinlich!?

Hi Team, Any one responds below ADE 4.5.10 version issues? I have faced images loading issues in ADE 4.5.10 version. I have viewed full book, after that again reviewing the book from starting page all the image properly showing with out error. I have minimized the image size to the maximum without affecting the quality of the image, but we have faced same problem. Kindle check and advice. We were using ADE version 4.5 and not faced this image issue. In ADE 4.5.10 these issue has been noticed. (We are not sure whether this is a issue pertaining to ADE software) I have attached the snapshot for your review please check and advice. My System Configuration:OS windows 8 and 10RAM 16GBIntel(R) Core(TM i5-3570 CPU @3.40GHz 3.40 Ghz64-bit  Thanks,Prithiviraj M    

I'm not able to read the ebook because they ask me to update and second email. I'm not able to enter my email second email I'd and password. I need to reset my email 

I am trying access an ebook protools fundamental 12.8 101 by Cook and I am unable to get past my email in adobe. Please help me I am behind in class and the error is asking me for another secondary email. Is there a way to reset or not?
