Digital Editions

I'm having problems turning pages in the digital editions. The arrow keys barely works with changing the page, I can spam the button 20 times and MAYBE the page will turn. Doesn't matter if it is up or down key. Backspace seem to be working fine but that is only turning a page forward, I can't find a way to go back one page. I just bought an expensive book for my university course and now I can barely read it because of this petty problem. Is there anything I can do? I downloaded it today so I'm using the latest version and I'm on a Windows computer.

I am on Ipados 13.3, on wireless iPad Pro. I downloaded the ADigital Editions from the App Store. It installed no worries.  I tried to authorize the app however, it says digital editions could not connect to the server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. Things I have done to try and make it work.1) reinstall the app2) reset all settings.3) cleared cashe in safari.4) deleted, rebooted and reinstalled the app.5) contacted chat support twice. And both times got recommended here.6) read the forums for my same issue. all, except 6, come up with the same error message.

Hi everyone, I have the same problem as I have seen others post - with no solution yet added. Perhaps someone has figured out since 🙂When I try to Add to Library I get the message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY.I have trouble shooted this and found that the manual says de-authorize computer to re-authorize. However, the system will not allow me to. It just says Unable to Erase Authorization and to try again later. But it never works. And so I am uanble to read the books.  Has anybody found a solutaion? Thank you! Kindly,Stina

Hi, I got an Adobe ID, installed ADE 4.5 on my computer, authorizing both my computer and my ereader Kobo Aura 2 edition. When I download a DRM protected ebook from a library (MLOL) using the dame Adobe ID and I open it with ADE 4.5, transfering the ebook to my Kobo, Kobo says: "your eReader is not authorized to open this book" (see attached image). I already tried to uninstall ADE 4.5, deleting "My Digitale Editions" folder and to install again, but the problem persists. This problem occured after I removed the authorization from my computer and my Kobo using another Adobe ID. Any solution? Hi Team. We are experiencing a display issue in adobe digital version 4.5.10 but the same text (highlighted text) is good in lower version. can you please describe the reason behind this issue.  Thanks,Bala V

I have bought a book that I cannot open it in Adobe DIgital Editions. It says there is an error with my account, or with my authorization. The problem occured three years ago, but I then gave up because I didn't have time for it. Now I would really need the book again, and after all, I have paid for it.

I bought books on the Rakuten Kobo website and the books are shown on the Kobo Desktop. But I can't download them onto my Sony eReader. I was told to download Adobe Digital Editions. How can I get the books from the Kobo Desktoip into the ADE program and then onto the reader?It also seems like I can't authorize my eReader on ADE. ADE doesn't recognize it when plugged in.I appreciate any help ad neither the Kobo help center nor the Adobe Help Centre were able to assist.

I am just starting to experiment with ADE, 4.5,  I have a pdf that was read in another app, with highlights and bookmarks.  The other app (foxit reader) will place the list of highlights in a sidebar, also allowing me to click on them as bookmarks.  ADE does this with highlights made in ADE,  but in preexisting, it shows the highlights, since they are now part of the pdf, but can't seem to 'harvest' them to list in the sidebar, and use as bookmarks.  Is there a way for me to make this happen?

Thought I had lost all my ebooks when I opened Adobe Digital Editions to find a blank library.  For future reference for anyone else who experiences the same, follow this advice:Next to 'Library' click on the downwards pointing arrow.In the drop down menu click on 'Add item to library' which will open up your 'Documents' folder.Open the folder called 'My Digital Editions'Select the ebooks you want to restore to your Digital Editions library and click 'open' which will put the ebook(s) back into your library.

There was an apple update and now my old version of ADE will not work.  I have updated the ADE software but it will not recognize my KOBO Glo ereader.  This was the problem with version 3.0 so KOBO said to download an older version of ADE.  NOW I AM UNABLE to get ADE to recognize my KOBO glo reader.  HELP!!!  I am not able to download my books from the library.  Can anyone help me out?   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hello, I can not open a digital book with the application on my samsung tablet ... I can open it on my computer so it's not the link that does not work ... I do not understand why I do not see not the book in the app on my tablet since I use the same adobe id ... Can you help me with that? Thank you! How do I return library books using ADE 4.5 for Mac?  I have tried command click on the book, the book is then highlighted but no drop down menu appears with the option of Return Borrowed Item or Remove From Library.  Help please!

I recently had to change my hard drive on my Windows 10 laptop. I later changed my password and authorized the laptop in Adobe Digital Editions. When I want to transfer an eBook from the laptop to my Kobo eReader I receive this message: CE_FAILED_TO_DEST_FILE or CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED.I don't know what to do.Thanks to help me.

I have forgotten/mislaid my keychain password and ADE requires this in order to authorise/de-authorise readers. I have tried moving the ADE icon to Trash but it does not go there.  Can anyone tell me how to remove the app from my Mac please?

Hi I am trying to borrow books from my local library on a Windows 10 PC and to transfer to my Kobo Clara HD. I think I am in a tangle with Adobe accounts as I get an error message of E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER and cannot download. How do I start all over again and set up a new id etc?I am using Adobe DE 4 

I make the mistake of downloading books from the public library before i had the adobe digital ed. downloaded. So I downloaded ADE.  ADE recognized my nook. But the books from the library are in my computer documents, not anywhere  on my adobe digital ed. page. and I don't know how to get them to go to ADE. So i tried checking out another book, after i downloaded ADE, but it isn't in my adobe digital ed. Now i have 4 checked out books, but can't read any of them, because they are not in my ADE, and not on my nook. GRRRRRRR! 3 hours later...... can anyone help me?

HiUntil 10 days ago I was able to download ebook from the library using Adobe digital and Overdrive onto my samsung tablet.  Now when I go to put a book on my tablet it asks for my Adobe ID and password, when I enter this information the area to send it is greyed out.  I contacted the library and they looked into it as did overdrive.  It seems to be an adobe issue.  I went to the live chat and they could not help and they suggested the forum.  Upon reading the forum I see that my issue is not unique.  Have you changed something in the past 10 days?  I sure would appreciate some help and resolve to this issue.Many thanksSherri Michellsmichell2@cogeco.ca

Running Win 10 and ADE 4.5 This has never happened before and just started in the last week.   When downloading ePUB file from Overdive it's copying to ADE 2, 3 or even 4 times.  None of the copies can be opened.  I've tried unautorizing and reauthorizing my device, and uninstalled and reinstall ADE.  Neither solved the issue.   Advice needed.  Thanx

I have adobe digital editions 4.5 installed. There is an error message on my computer saying it has no access permissions to one drive. I am not savvy about one drive. Any step by step instructions on this? 

I have succesfully made an Adobe account and try to authorize ADE on my computer (and afterall my Kobo Libra ereader).Everytime I get a message  "Incorrect id/password for this eBook deliverer".So i don't come to authorizing my Kobo ereader.In a primary phase i made an Adobe-account without id. So i'm thinking that this could be the reason. But you can't remove an account without id.What should i do? Removing the account with id.I should be very glad to receive tips to get a solution.
