Digital Editions

I'm looking for help on deauthorizing ADE from an old Adobe ID. Turns out I accidentally deleted it before doing so. When deauthorizing ADE, it shows me the old Adobe ID and it requires the password that I used for it. However, it's invalid since the account is already deleted. Can I get some solutions?

Malheureusement, je n'arrive pas à charger sur la liseuse les livres achetés et stockés sur Adobe digital edition. J'ai l'impression qu'elle fait planter le programme (version 4.5.10) et je n'arrive même pas à l'autoriser. Avez-vous déjà eu ce cas de figure ? Cette Kobo serait-elle incompatible avec la version 4.5.10 ? Est-ce que je peux utiliser un autre logiciel qu'ADE ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

I  borrowed a book in which I highlighted and wrote notes and comments. After the book expired,  I borrowed it again from the same online library but  instead of unlocking the book with all the notes and highlights I now have a new version of the same book in my library. Is there a way to unlock the version of the book which has all of my notes and comments in it?

Ebooks downloaded from my library to my laptop are fine. When I copy them to my kobo ereader I get the message "This book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management. Because you previously deauthorized your ereader, you need to re-import the book using ADE.". I have gone through extensive troubleshooting with KOBo, including resetting my ereader, deauthorizing and reauthorizing both my laptop and my computer. After taking thses steops, I have downloaded several library books to my laptop and copied them to my kobo. The library books can be opened on my laptop, including the copies of the books on my kobo bookshelf. Also, my kobo shows as authorized on my laptop, but I am unable to open any library books on my kobo ereader. I get the error message above.What can I do?

Nach dem verfluchten Update von Windows 10 blieb mir nur eine Neuinstallation des Systems. Nun kann ich keine neuen eBücher mehr herunterladen, weil ich meine ID nicht mehr habe.Ihr dürft es gern auf mein hohes Alter (79) oder meine geringe Intelligenz zurückführen, aber ich werde aus den diesbezüglichen Hinweisen auf der Webseite nicht schlau. Der Chat wird leider immer wieder abgebrochen.

I'm seeking help on removing corrupted documents that have already been returned. Everytime I download an Ebook, I keep seeing duplicates of other documents that I previously downloaded. I tried removing them from the library and reopening ADE, but they keep coming back. There are also situations where I download an Ebook and the library shows the book as being expired. I even tried re-installing ADE but it didn't help.

bonjour je vien d'installer adobe digital edition et tout ce qu'il fait c'est de charger la librairie. il loop sans saisse sur ca et rien d'autre ne se passe. j'ai deinstaller completement manuellement l'application et reinstaller une de facon propre mais le probleme reste le meme.quelqu'un peux m'aider svp?

Hi, After MAC OS Catalina update, I can no longer see my kobo device in the ADE device list.  ADE appears to work normally, and kobo opens as expected in Finder and icon pops up on desktop, but ADE window only lists bookshelves and no device list above them.  I have tried reinstalling ADE with no improvement.I did eject kobo then disconnected it and moved USB to second port on mac mini and then device list popped up for a short time, then disappeared.  Everything worked as expected untill recently, so I am guessing the catalina update is at fault. Help please.  regards Des

I downloaded an e-book and tried to open it with Adobe Digital Editions on Windows 10 and with the first computer everything went fine. However if I try to open it on a second computer (still Windows 10) I get the following error:W_ADEPT_CORE_WRONG_DEVICE.I have already deauthorized and authorized the computer but nothing changes. Even if I delete the actual file in the the CloudSync file there is no sign of improvement and I get the same error. 

ich habe kürzlich festgestellt, dass mein ADE ohne Adobe ID authorisiert ist, jetzt brauch ich aber dringend eine solche Authorisierung. Beim Versuch dies zu tun bekomme ich nun die Meldung, dies sei nicht möglich mit meiner ID, weil die zu dem Zweck bereits auf einem anderen (längst ausgeschiedenen) PC verwendet worden sei. Wer weiß, was zu tun ist?

Hello, I've just downloaded ADE: when I tried to transfer an ebook I took from my online public library to my device (a Sony PRS-T1, it is in the list of supported devices) I failed, because ADE couldn't see it.I followed the instructions step by step, but my device didn't appear on the left side in ADE.What should I do?

I got all of my hardware " "Authorized"....HP laptop, Samsung tablet, LG Android Phone.  I can download a book to my laptop, but ADE is not simulataneously downloading it to my tablet or phone. Any solutions?

This is really annoying me.  I cant download any books from my local library and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling  ADE.  The only thing that might be relevant is I've changed ISP's but my old email addy is good for the next 12 months so am not even sure if changing ISP's could be a factor.

I am unable to deauthorize Apdobi Degital Aditions applicaton because I can’t remember password. I have tried going back to main adobi site and putting in a new password but new password is not recognized by ADE as well. Please is there anyone out there that can help? Millie 

i have tried over several months to try and get this to work at first everything was fine when i downloaded version 4.5 but now it won't open. i have tried different versions of it 2.0 /3.0/ 4.0  but none of them work i can not get it to open so i can't access by books from the library. i have tried several different fixes i have seen on here but nothing seems to be working. any help would be nice.

HelloI have just installed ADE on my computer and completed authorization for my computer.I then connected my ICARUS ereader to my computer and it appears in my ADE library. I authorized my ereader succesfully. I can drag my ebook to my ereader. Only when i open the ebook on the ereader, it appears as a blank document. Anybody experience with this? 

I have an Apple MacBook Air 2014 and I can not download Adobe Digital Edition. I have purchased an e book and I can not read it now. Where can I download it? My app store says it is not available and the main webpage refers to the app store.

I borrow books from the library and copy to my e-book reader, which is an iRiver Story. It has always workt well, but after a break for about one year, it doesn`t any more. Somebody told me that there is a file protect (DRM) installed in the system, and that would not support my reader. Adobe was said to support only iRiver Cover Story and iRiver Story HD, but not iRiver Story which is my reader.Anybody out there to tell me the truth?Håkan

When will the download issue be fixed?

After having to replace, then reset, a Nook device, I'm receiving a "too many authorizations" error (likely due to the replacements/resets of the Nook and my Kobo devices) and cannot get it reauthed either through the ADE app or through the device itself. Customer chat sent me here, so is there any way I can get my auths reset?  Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am switching to ADE on my iPhone and iPad due to Bluefire reader shutting down. I am having trouble finding where the expiration date is shown in the iOS app. This is in important since, as a bookseller, I read a lot of digital advance copies via Edelweiss and Netgalley. These all have varying expiration dates - some before the release date, some on the release date, and some after. All help topics I find say there is a banner on the book's cover with the "days left" shown, but these help topics seem to be specific to versions for Windows and Mac, not mobile devices. Any suggestions are appreciated. (and if this isn't information available in the iOS app, perhaps the Adobe developers could add that?)

I purchased a digital editions book and opened it on one of my computers, but I'd like to read it on another one. I authorized the first computer without a username.  I erased my authorization from the first computer and deleted the book from my library so I could try to open it on the second computer, but now I can't open it on either one.  I get an error message that says, "Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER."  How do I get the book back?  Unfortunately, in trying to transfer from one computer to another, I removed it from my library, so now I can't read it on either computer.
