Digital Editions

I am using adobe digital editions for school, and I guess I previously had this software because my computer is already authorized. However, it is authorized under the incorrect account, i.e. not my student account. I actually have no idea which account it could be synced up with, I've tried every email and password I have used over the last few years but it's always incorrect. Under authorized users, it reads "29065015531676 | Cloud LibraryPlease help!

My library book downloads to Adobe Digital Editions for read only.  My Kobo Device is authorized through Adobe Digital Editions but when I try to download the book to my Kobo  I get an error stating that book cannot be downloaded because device is not authorized.  What is the problem?

I BOUGHT a Pdf from libreriauniversitaria.it called: "Analisi contrastiva delle strategie di cortesia nella lingua italiana e spagnola: proibizioni, richieste e ordini".This pdf is associated with Adobe DRM protection which has to be opened with Adobe Digital Edition. So I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition and I was able to read this pdf.The point is that I unfortunately had to format (actually it is called "ripristino" in Italian) my computer. After this, I can't open anymore this pdf. So I changed my password, but it said me this: "the vendor account is not associated with the item I am trying to open"How can I solve this problem? I already contacted adobe support and they told me that the only way is this forum.Thank you.

Why some of the books I buy are available in the "all the elements" and not in the "bought books" library? (names of the libraries are as they appear in Italian)It happens only for some books. The shop where I buy the ebooks is always the same, installation procedure remains the same, some books are loaded in the correct library, some are not, and they are available and visible only in the "all the elements" library.Can I add the bought book to the correct "bought books" library? I can't use anymore the MLOL app (an ebook reader) because each time I try to authorize my Adobe id an error says that too many devices have been activated with the same id...But it's not true!!!Please, solve this problem!!

I've bought a ePub book from Google app store (Google book) and I discharged it from Google server through Adobe Digital editions software but when I've tried to read it, the software suddenly close without error messages, just I couldn't read it.I've been in touch with Google support and they said that it's a software issue. Hi there! I have just purchased some books and I am trying to get them downloaded. I first had an authorization problem that I managed to fix but now ADE just crashes and comes up with 'not responding', every time I try to do something with my new books. I have however got older books from the same bookstore and they work fine. Please help.

Bonjour!C'est impossible pour moi de transférer un livre emprunté sur mon Kobo à partir du logiciel Adobe Digital. Ils me disent que c'est impossible de le copier. Lorsque je tente de changer l'autorisation, c'est inscrit que l'autorisation ne peut être alloué à un autre ordinateur. Pourtant, je n'ai pas ce problème lorsque le livre est acheté. Alors, je peux très bien le copier sur mon Kobo. Merci de m'aider!!!

Habe vor Jahren schon mal Adobe Digital autoriesiert ,die info dazu kann ich in ADE sehen.Ist aber eine alte nicht mehr vorhandene Emailadresse und das Passwort weiss ich nicht mehr .So kann ich die autosierung nicht löschen ,was tun ??????

Hi I entered an incorrect email address when purchasing the premiere pro,  Now I can't get into my email to activate my premiere pro account there any way I can shift the package to my account???

I recently purchased an ebook via Google Playstore and downloaded it in the .ascm format on my PC at home. I also installed the Adobe Digital Edition along with it. In a fit of hastiness, I authorized the book without specifying an adobe id/password. The product did warn me that doing so will lock the book to that one PC and that I wouldn't be able to view it anywhere else. Is there a way to reverse this? How can I re-authorize my book with a proper adobe id/password (that I just created) so that I will be able to download the .ascm on *any* PC and be able to open it via Adobe Digital Edition?

I had Elements 11 on my Windows laptop but have changed to a Mac book which doesn't have a CD drive. Is there a version I can download to my Mac as I own the original?

Hallo zusammen,ich benutze Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 um E-Books auf mein Pocketbook zu laden.Jetzt habe ich ein neues Pocketbook gekauft, weil das alte defekt war und habe ein Problem, die alten Bücher, die auf dem alten schon geladen sind, auf das neue zu laden.Ich habe die Info erhalten, dass man pro Adobe-ID insgesamt 6 Geräte laufen lassen kann, es sollte also eigentlich kein Problem sein.Meine Frage ist jetzt, kann ich irgendwo einsehen, welche Geräte über meine Adobe-ID angemeldet sind und die alten wieder rauslöschen, so dass alle Bücher auf dem neuen Gerät laufen?Oder kennt jemand eine andere Möglichkeit um alle bereits vorhandenen Bücher auf das neue Pocketbook zu bekommen?Vielen Dank für Tipps!Viele Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende,Su

According to Barnes & Noble the only version I can use is the 3.0  On Dec 26 for some reason I couldn't download books.  I had to reload the 3.0 and then it was working alright.  Yesterday the .acsn file type was not in my defaults so I had to work with MIcrosoft to get that fixed but I still couldn't download my ebooks from my public library to digital editions.  I kept getting errors saying a previous version was detected and would I like to repair it.  I say yes and nothing happens.  Still can't download.  Normally I would get a downloaded file show up when I try downloading but that isn't happening so I don't know what in the world is going on.  I have removed everything and reloaded and reauthorized but nothing seems to work.  I worked with the chat people but now they say to get in touch with the forum.  Please help.

I have a brand new reader, first time user, I have installed the latest edition of Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)and I am getting the following error message: CE-COPY-NOT ALLOWED - vous n'avez pas le droit de copier ce livre  when I tried to put the book I borrowed from a library on it?How to resolved this ?

Downloaded eBook does not open Surface Pro Windows 10. System goes into not responding, then I have to terminate the program.  However, the book does open in separate Desktop Windows 10 PC.   Anyone else having a similar problem or have a solution?Thanks

Hi,I'm really wondering, if anyone know, how do i get in contact with adobe, how do i chat with them or call them?And my question is the following,I want to print out a pdf file that i saved in the program Adobe Digital Editions, but im not able to..It says File,edit, reading, helpI open Under FILE, and it says print, exit, so on,,.When i want to press print the text is gray and not black, so you can not choose the option Print. I don't know why. Im sure it would work i just don't know why. If i can open the file in the program then why can't it print it out?I tried downloading other pdf programs but this is the only one that works to open my pdf file in. I downloaded this book on google play and they told me to download adobe digital editions, and now when I want to print it wont work.I have tested my printer and it works. So thankfull for answers./lovisa

I bought a new desktop (Windows 10) after my old one died. I installed ADE and authorized my new desktop. When I try to copy over 100 *.ascm files of books I'd bought from Kobo.com, and that were on my "backup drive", ADE gives error message:"Unable to downloadError getting license. License Server Communication Problem.E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED-BY-ANOTHER_USER"I then bought another book on Kobo.com; back in "My Books", I then clicked on "Download" and again on "Download" and was offered the option of "Read in ADE". When I clicked on that, the book *was* accepted into ADE's library.Is there any way of getting my over 100 titles that *were* in ADE (on old computer) back into ADE on new computer?Thanks.Dave[Personal information removed by moderator.]
