Digital Editions

it would like the option to be able to de-authorize a device connected to Adobe Digital Editions through the web interface on the Adobe ID website. My copy of Adobe Digital Editions is currently running great,  but I’ve seen instances where people are unable to deauthorize a device from Adobe Digital Editions if the device itself died and wasn’t able to be powered on. In those cases, being able to perform the deauthorization of the device through the web interface tied to the Adobe ID website would be a good solution to be able to manage authorizations no matter what could happen.

I have this message: E_AUTH_NOT_READY when I am trying to upload a file. To resolve this issue I am suppose to erase my authentification but I get the message that it is impossible to erase it. I am using this os: macOS High Sierra version 10.13.4

When I try to down load book from e library and we go to Adobe Digital Edition 4.0, , instead of downloading the book, I get the error (error check activation).  Both the computer and the KOBO have be authorized to account (rhelliott@Hotmail.com)

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my iMac and authrorize it. I also downloaded ADE on my iPad. But the books do not sync between the devices. Is there a syncing function for ADE?Anybody can help? Thanks.

After borrowing a Ebook from my local library I received a URLLink.acsm to open in ADE.A message appeared:Unable to download.Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem.E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12Please advise what to do to solve this problem

Ik heb een nieuwe Kobo ereader. Als ik digital editions wil autoriseren krijg ik een foutmelding.Er is een fout gedetecteerd op de activeringsserver.Wat kan ik doen?

I cannot deauthorize my computer that was authorized by another person. How do I change the user when i do not know their password. deleting the app does not seem to work.

First of all, I have to say that Adobe's level of support for issues involving this is ridiculous. I am forced to use this app because of a course textbook and I am not able to zoom. The zoom option is greyed out and I have spent many hours trying to fix this issue. Is there a solution to this? I have seen that others have had the same issue.

One of my ereaders has crashed and now i can't deactivate Digital Editions for that ereader. Why can't i see how much ereaders or computers are already activated ?

The computer is autorized on ADE 3.0, but i get this message in every book i have (it happens also on ADE 4.5): The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are tring to open. Try again....And now my dropbox does not copy books from my computer also.

I recently authorized my account on my computer and thought it would allow me to read the files on Adobe Digital Editions. To open a file and read it I need to have a Vendor ID. How am I supposed to get a Vendor ID?

I uninstalled Digital editions removed all files and reloaded but the book is still there how do I remove this book please?

per instructions from Nook, we upgraded version in Nook Simple touch with glowlight and a newer Glowlight3.Glowlight 3 now unable to get books loaded on it.when i connect to computer and Adobe adds the Nook then it freezes up and shows only the Adobe Editions and only has on the website--DevicesnookBookshelveswith no books at all on it.I can't move any books from the library on Adobe to it because it freezes. I called Nook and they said to upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0. I did that and no better. Then tried 4.5 and no better. they all do the same thing. I reauthorized computer and nook each time, turned off various devices and all that you are supposed to do and nothing works.I even went in to the computer and tried to drag the book to the Nook but that does not work.any ideas?Nook after trying to help me referred me to Adobe which of course does not offer any help.I am ready to get rid of the Nooks and try a kindle as I am so frustrated.Ideas?

Bitte um Hilfe:Ich benötige ADE für EBooks. Bisher startete das Programm mit meinen User problemlos.Nachdem es letzte Woche nicht mehr gestartet ist, habe ich es als User und (nachdem ich es als User trotzdem nicht starten konnte) als Admin neu herunter geladen und den Laptop wieder autorisiert.Seitdem kann ich es nur noch als Admin starten, was u,a. bedeutet, dass meine als User angelegten Regale nicht mehr vorhanden sind, vermutlich weil das Verzeichnis My Digital Edition neu unter User Admin angelegt wurde und ich es nicht auf das Verzeichnis bei meinem User ändern kann). Es werden vor díesem Zeitpunkt geladene Bücher zwar angezeigt, sind  aber nicht mehr zu öffnen.Vielen Dank im VorausM.

Im trying to Authorize my computer. When inserting my ID and password, the Adobe Digital Editions says that ID or password of the eBook provider (Adobe) is wrong, Try again.But the ID and password are correct! I'm logged into the Adobe Digital Editions account normally through the web browser.Please help!

ADE konnte keine Verbindung zum Aktivierungsserver herstellen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie mit dem Internet verbunden sind.... das bin ich!Bei weiteren Klicks startet dann irgendwann der Balken, der aber nach mehreren Minuten nicht endet...

Bonjour, je rencontre un problème sur ma liseuse kobo aura. Jusqu'ici aucun souci pour emprunté des livres et les lire mais du jour au lendemain, un message d'erreur " votre liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre".J'ai donc desinstallé adobe digital edition puis resinstaller, j'ai de nouveau autorisé la liseuse. Toujours rien. Nouvelle tentative aujourd'hui en réinitialisant la liseuse. Je ne sais plus quoi faire. Quelqu'un aurait une solution ?Merci d'avance

Wer kann mir helfen. Seit fast 2 Monaten kann ich keine Download-ebooks mehr umwandeln. Ade meldet immer E_ACT_NOT_Ready. ich habe schon versucht meine Autorisierung zu löschen. Can you use a signature pad and digital signature at the same time?

No matter how many times I uninstall, clear temp internet files, Erase and Authorize my NOOK V1 I am not able to transfer my Libraries ePub books from my laptop to my nook using Libby and ADE.  The error: "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - no permission to copy the book" stops the transfer.  I have uninstalled all the windows apps and reinstalled as Adminstrator - didn't help.  The epub file permissions show that my email id (via Adobe) has permissions c/w viewing on any device.  Still the transfer fails.  My nook is even registered with the SAME email id as my Adobe Account - still notta.  I'm frustrated and discouraged.  Barnes and Nobel sent me a note stating that my NOOK V1 will be unsupported this month.  I can see that Adobe and B&N have no plans to get this working.  B&N WILL NOT suck me in to purchase another eReader just to drop me from support years down the road and make me throw it away.  There's got to be a better hardware prod

E_ACT_NOT_READY keeps on popping up when I download a book I purchased. I can't seem to open a book on my imac computer. I have the latest edition installed, which I installed just for this book. I can't seem to find a spot to "login" into my account. I've already asked for help somewhere else and no one can seem to help. I was some how able to install the app and open the book on my ipad as it asked for my adobe login. I have had no luck on my computer though, which is the only way to print from the book.

HiADE 4.5.7 or 4.5.8 doesn't work anymore since a Windows update (I'm on W10) I made a few days ago. It doesn't open.Then, I installed ADE 3.0 avec it works but not completly. I get the message "Error check activation" when I want to download an ebook.But my computer is actived (in "help" I can see that) and I can't disconnect my account (i can't click on it, i's grease)Thanks for your help.Christophe
