Where can I find ADobe Digital Editions Version 3?   The link provided on the ADE download page doesn't go to a version 3 download.

Try opening the Keychain Access utility, and locking the keychain (click the lock icon on the top-left of the utility).Adobe should add this to their advice on fixing issues on Mac OS, IMHO.My experience below, —I've used ADE successfully once (if a little confused by what it was trying to do), but now it has decided to bork itself. I downloaded a book from the library and Adobe won't open it. It says error. I've tried downloading and opening in older versions of ADE, no luck.I'm getting very frustrated.

I have a nook that doesn't take Adobe's newer version.  I downloaded version 3.0 but it still won't work.  I tried to reauthorize my computer but it comes up with "server error".  Any suggestions?

Hello,I have an issue regarding the authorization of my computer in order to be able to download and read the e-books DRM protected that i have bought.I tried all the options that I have read on the forums. Installing ADE 4.5.8 then uninstalling and installing previous editions of ADE 3.0 and 2.0, renouncing at my fiberlink connection for an WI-FI in order to authorize the computer, unshielding the antivirus and firewalls, etc.When I try to authorize the computer, a message is displayed, namely Authorizing and it keeps on going like this for hours and nothing still happens.What can I do to still authorize my computer with an Adobe ID for reading the e-books on my e-book reader PocketBook also.I am waiting for any advice about how can I solve this issue. When I download a book from the library, the download seems to work, and ADE opens, but there is nothing in it. Help. I've tried the download from both Explorer and Firefox.Thanks.

Hi,I am trying to open an acsm but I get the following error:Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12I have tried to reauthorise the computer so that I could reset the authorisation but it keeps telling me: Unable to Erase Authorization. Like many others, my ADE will work sometimes and then suddenly stops. It stopped opening new books last week sending me to BlueFire. (great a notehr ap to waste space because one won't work.)Now it won't even launch.  I am a book reviewer for NetGAalley; i was almost finished with a book that expires in two days. NOw I can't get to it! I can't complete my review because I can't get the thing to open.WHen I search trouble shooting, I find solution buts those solutions don't work. I.E. run it in compatability mode but WIndows 10 isn't offered in teh drop down menue so it's no help.And now I fidn ouyt I can't even contact Adobe; i have to go through this forum. This is just bad customer service.Please if you have an answer that will help me, please reply. Because I'm about to leavae Adobe all together.

Buenas tardes.Compré un libro hace dos años y lo leí. Lo abrí con Adobe Digital Editions.No recurdo con que ID o cuenta. Ahora tengo un ID que me hice reciente.Cuando me identifico, me dice: "la cuenta de proveedor que ha introducido no está asociada al elemento que se está intentando abrir. Inténtelo de nuevo".No recuredo como lo abrí. Sí que estoy seguro de que lo abrí con el mismo equipo con el que lo estoy intentando.Gracias.

Impossible d’activer mon Adobe ID sur mon ordinateur. When I download books the digital edition and then delete them, it crashes and the books are not deleted. Then when I go to transfer the book to the iBook to download my nook, the books will not download. Every time I go to open the book it says "The book is corrupt". I tried to delete the program and re-download the book adobe Digital edition, it still did not work.[Moved from the non-technical Lounge to the specific Program forum... Hi,I hope you can help me. I have a strange problem. I was running ADE 4.5.8 and everything was fine. Then all of a sudden I am now unable to even open the program.  I didn't do any updated in between when it worked and when it stopped. I literally closed the program, then 2 minutes later tried to open it again, and since then it has not worked.I don't get an error. I don't get a splash screen. I click on the shortcut and effectively, nothing happens. I can see the program in the task manager, but after a few mins it disappears from the list having never shown me anything. I'm running windows 10. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Restarting and shutting down my computer. I've also tried running version 3.0 which works, but will not allow me to authorize my computer. I've tried disabling my virus program, but it has not helped. Any suggestions?Thanks!

I got a new-to-me Windows 7 laptop and installed ADE with a free Norton trial.  The downloaded ADE worked fine for about half an hour.  Then I opened a book from Kobo and the ADE software changed.  It no longer displays the library and won't open books.  If I buy a book with DRM, it will put the book in My Digital edition file but not open it. I can't transfer the DRM book to my e-reader (Kobo Aura).  The toolbar now reads File, Edit, Reading, Help instead of File, Library, Help.  I have uninstalled and re-downloaded ADE multiple times but it comes out the same.  Some of those downloads were done with the Norton firewall disabled and using different browsers.  When I tried the alternate download method using ADE 4.0 zip, the library format was there but it would not read my library or open books.I downloaded ADE onto another computer without the Norton trial and it works.  I copied the installation file onto the laptop but it still doesn't w

Hello,I am new to Digital Editions and how I to transfer my library from my computer to my device.I am sorry but I will have to give a bit of history before I can explain my problem. I have a NOOK SimpleTouch Glowlight, which originally was supported in the UK by Barnes and Noble, and I have to say worked rather brilliantly. However, B&N decided to pull out of the UK market and since then I have been trying to find a good way to buy and install Ebooks on my device. I used Calibre as a way of organising and transferring any Ebooks I purchased and it seemed to work very well. However I recently started purchasing from Ebooks.com which has a great list of titles and a reasonable prices. These are easy to buy and download But They have to be opened via Adobe Digital Editions. That is fine as Adobe Digital Editions seems to work as easily as Calibe.My only problem is the the book covers do not download to the NOOK, they download to the Digital Editions Library on my computer (a desktop
