Digital Editions

I have purchased a new computer and want to authorize it.  It won't let me without losing all of my old information.  I use that to know if I have read a book or not  Also I have downloaded some books that I haven't transferred to my KOBO yet.  Can I transfer my ADE to this computer?

I got a new iPad and downloaded the reader app for my Sony Ereader. It asks me to login to Adobe but the email address we originally used to set this up is no longer valid. I have tried every combination I can think of. Is there any way to change the email address to my current one??I cannot reset the password as I can't retrieve the email sent to that non existent email address.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have downloaded and authourised my laptop. But I need to transfer books onto my Kobo but its not authourised with ADE.

I frequently do epubs but a few days ago i detected a problem I'm trying to resolve and couldn't yet. Some pictures, it happened with cove pictures or others inside the books, doesn't show in ADE for Android when i change the size of it. At the desktop I don't have the problem.  All images are in RGB, 8 Bits, sizes multiple of 4. I try to make the cover 1728 x 2500 px. First i thought it was a problem of the propotions that where not multiple of 4 but then i changed that it continues to not show the image in ADE for androd. Does anyone knows something about it?

I tried to authorize my computer on Adobe Editions (help option), while connected to the internet, and it says "connection error: digital editions could not connect to the activation server. please make sure you are connected to the internet." Can anyone help me authorize my computer?

New computer. I install Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 (Windows), and authorize computer using my Adobe ID (email).But the urn:uuid is different from the one on the old computer. Both ADE have the same email. So now ! can't read my DRM books on the new computer.So, ¿2 urn:uuid under the same email? ¿Do you know how to solve this?Thanks,Gabriel

First off, the fact that there's no phone support for this product is ridiculous.Here's my issue. I created a Digital Editions Account on one computer. I want to transfer my purchases to a different computer. I can authorize my second computer and the purchases should download automatically. However, they didn't. Looking more closely at the authorization info (Help>Authorization Information), I see that there are two separate numbers after my email address. One has my email address: m*****@*******.com and then AdobeID (um:uuid:*****....). On the other computer, it has my email address as the same and my code is now something different - the (um.uuid............) part. What do I do to fix this?

After loading a paragraph style from another InDesign document, the paragraph styles dialog box list doesn't update to show the newly loaded paragraph style.  However, the style is listed in the toolbar drop-down paragraph list. I closed the paragraph styles box and reopened multiple times after the load paragraph sequence with no change to the listed styles.  I have performed this repeatedly on different documents just to check and the results are the same. I'm using ID version 2017. Any suggestions?

When I tried to open a book bought sometime ago, after I first tried to authorize my computer the following message appear : Incorrect ID or password for this eBook retailer (in french : ID ou mot de passe incorrect pour ce fournisseur d'eBook).In checked my Adobe account, identity and password: ID and password are correct.What can I do ?

I bought a book and didn't sign up, then rebooted windows and lost my licence. Is there anything I can do?

I have reinstalled ADE, I have wiped my Kobo and gone back to factory settings, I have de-authorized and re-authorized, and every time I try to load my ePub documents from ADE to my Kobo, I get a message saying I need to re-import the book using ADE. I have done it over and over and over again, and I keep getting the same message, every time I import the book using ADE. Anyone have any suggestions?

We have created a bunch of eBooks - ACS/DRM protected PDF files. They have been working just fine until such time as we (or anyone) upgrades to ADE 4.5.7. all images in the book that were perfect before are now rendered as scrambled snow. This is happening on mac and windows versions of the software. Does anyone have any insight on why this might be happening? 

I have tried to download this newest version more than once. At first some books downloaded and I could transfer to device and read.  Now ADE is simply  a blank window with titles across the top and no books ( acsm ) will download.  Often I have to "end task" to close ADE program.  Does anyone have experience with this and/or know a solution??  Seems that this newest version just doesn't work properly. Previous 3.0 Version was fine but cannot go back to it as you get  "check activation message."Thanks......Dave

I was told by staff at OverDrive (downloadable library book service" that "Adobe appears to have discontinued their support of ADE."  It's true that chat support is no longer available when you select ADE from the contact page; it only suggests the forum.  By choosing another "problem" I access chat support and asked a "technician" who unhelpfully told me that "we support ADE depending on different issues."  When I asked for clarification, the technician was silent for five minutes and I had to discontinue the chat to get to a meeting.My questions are:In what ways does Adobe still support ADE and for how long?In what situations will Adobe not support users having trouble with ADE?Is there an alternative product for users who currently use ADE?

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to my computer and successfully authorised the computer but when I connect my Kobo ereader I cannot auhtorise the device to transfer books.  Any ideas please?

I have a feeling I have two adobe digital edition ID's because I had an issue with my KOBO. I deleted ADE and re-downloaded it, but I think I created a new ID by accident (is it possible to do this with the same email address?). I contacted KOBO support and they told me to delete my library book downloads, de-authorize the device and re-authorize it. After I did this, the books wouldn't re-download saying that a license already existed for another user for that book.

I'm sick and tired.I bought digital books in good faith.I read them at home and at work.then one day i got an expired or unauthorised message.I was able to sort it out on my home macon my work windows I have tried and tried and tried and tried.as far as I can tell, I need to re- register the work PC to the correct account. but I don't know the current password to remove the existing account (which is registered to my email also!!)When I want to access the (important) book, I just spend an hour trying to get it open, and failing.Adobe are not interested to be contacted and this forum has not helped in the past.I hate adobe DC and think I will never purchase digital books again.
