Digital Editions

I am able to download & view books purchased on my laptop.  I have previously (as recent as last month) transferred these books to my ipad and read them. This month when I transfer them to my ipad (also tried my iphone as ipad only a couple months old) and it shows them listed but greyed out with author unknown.  The device is authorized, and as said transferred from same company last month no issues and for many months prior to another ipad.The company has redone their whole website (had a few glitches last two months) but that was only to the laptop and the company told me a work around which worked fine.  Transferring to the ipad never an issue.I can't see it being a website issue as it downloads to my laptop fine.  Seems more a sync issue or something, but I have no idea what to do.  Maybe I am wrong and it is website, but it seems odd to me that it downloads to laptop fine and ipad is definitely authorized.Any advice is appreciated.

Hi,I had ADE on my computer and worked fine.Accidently removed an ACSM file for an e-book and ADE would not read the file. Reinstalled the ACSM file and still the book errored on ADETried to deauthorise but it would not recognise my log in details so I followed the regedit process and then uninstalled ADE.I have reinstalled ADE and now when I click "Authorise" nothing happens.I have tried on two other computers (that never had ADE on them) and I get the same response (or lack of). ALl running W10 Pro (fully updated)SO I now have ADE but cannot use it or authorise it.Any help appreciated.

If I click on "autorize my computer" the screen disappears immediately. I have tried reinstall digital editions and also restart my computer.Is there anybody that can help me?

So the e-book for my college textbook required digital editions to be read (i only have an ipad pro) and now the program has complete crashed on it. I will not let me open any files on it and when I tried to reinstall it, it just sits there in the login screen “loading”. It is exam weeks and I would loooooooooooove access to my texts books. So ummmmmm..... what the duck adobe? Is there a better or different drm program I could use?

Hey guys,ADE worked perfectly well on both my phone and laptop until recentlz.Four days ago, my laptop broke and I had to replace the motherboard. No drama, I still was able to read my ebooks on my phone. Now that my laptop is back from repair, I tried to open ADE and read my ebook on the laptop, but that didn't work. Additionally, I cannot read them on my phone now either.I cannot delete the authorization ( the box is highlighted in grey). Also, and this is funny, I cannot click on authorize. Well, I can, it is not highlighted in grey, but if I click it nothing is happening. So basically I can't do anything.My Adobe ID is all fine, I already de- and reinstalled ADE, I just don't know what to do.I would really appreciate your help!bestTheo

Dear all,about 10 days ago I purchased two new ebooks. When I wanted to download the ebooks AED started automatically and gave me a note to update to ADE 4.5.7 (up to then I used ADE 4.5.6). I updated to ADE 4.5.7.After this I once again started the download of one of these ebooks. ADE 4.5.7 opened a window with the covers of ym former books. But except for a rotating circle nothing else happened - not even an error message will be displayed.Whatever I tried - nothing helped:- waiting for hours- cancelling ADE and open again- kill all Adobe related processes with Task Manager and start ADE again- reboot of PC- deinstallation and re-installation of ADE- I even contacted the store: They cancelled the order so I could re-purchase and download again - but still the same Amazingly the following things work:- I can read the new ebooks in the PC with TWINUI or webreader.mytolino.com- I can save the *.ebub files on my computer, however since no *.annot-files (or any other necessary files) are

HiAdobe digital editions wont dowload on my ipad first generation with ios 5.1.1 . I have tried to download it both on my computer and sync it to my ipad and directly onto my ipad from the app store but nothing seems to work. I have found a forum where they discuss some answers but it doesnt work for me. How to reauthorize digital editions without valid email and forgotten password?

As of about 10:00 this evening, Digital Editions has become worse than useless when using Overdrive, the digital library my physical library has a membership in. Every time I try to download an Overdrive book, ADE crashes. When I reopen it, it pretends the book is there--but if I try to open it, it crashes again. Try to move the book to my Nook? Crashes. No fix, no error message--it just freezes for a minute until Windows tells me it's stopped responding.Less troublesome but more annoying, these books stay there. No matter what I do. I'm up to five ghost files in my library (I tested various workarounds to see if any of them would let me use these files). They've all been returned according to the Overdrive catalog. They've all been deleted from my computer and don't even appear in the ADE manifest, and yet, every time I open ADE, there they are. ADE even prompts me every time to be sure I want to delete the files, even though I tell it every time not to ask me again.There is of course

When i read my Ebook and scroll down most often half the paige is not loaded and when i starts to scroll past the blank space it loads above where i scroll.If i try to scroll back up it dissapears again so im stuck with having to miss about 1- 2 lines of each page if im lucky.Are there any quick fixes for the problem?

I borrowed epub books from local library, have read some of them no issues. Now I find some of them show an error 'Your ereader is not authorised to open this book" Why do some open and others don't? They all download from Overdrive.

Hello,     I have tried with the latest version of Adobe digital editions and also in 3 different computers to access online content from a e-library website. After download the .acsm file Your software always shows the same error message on all the computers. I want to tell you that I am using the latest up to date windows 10 software as well as latest updated version of adobe digital editions.      Error message is : w_adept_core_expired. Error getting License. License server communication problem.     I am very frustrated. I content the other party from whom I want to acquire the e-library contents. They said its all OK from there end.     Help me to solve the problem and access the content. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled, erased authorization and reauthorized in both ways using computer as well as adobe id.  Help help...Thank you

i have the error message too many activations for my ADE and ereader.  I understand this is a simple solve by getting in contact with a Adobe customer support staff and requesting my authorizations are reset.  BUT I have spent hours going around in circles on this website with no success of finding a 'chat with a live staff' option or a phone number.  Someone please help me!  and please don't provide me with a link to the customer support page, because no where on that page is an option to chat or a phone number to call.
