HiAuthorizing I clicked the authorize without ID button.I need to open the book on another computer and am unable to now authorize the book with setup AdobeIDNeed help urgently PleaseThanksLouis

I have been trying to download several books from KOBO to my computer. Everything seems fine till I try to open it in ADE. I keep getting error messages. I contacted Kobo and they have checked my library and everything seems fine there so they say it is a ADE issue. I have deauthorized and re authorize my computer and still nothing happens.

this started late last week , I download a book to my eReader from my computer in ADEit downloads okay, but when i go to open it, it does not open i get the message , that my eReader is not authorized to open this book,  i have tried all of the logical things to do, deauthorized it both in my computer and in my ereader, re- authorized both and it still does not work/???

First the app told me the license key was corrupted (it wasn't) Now it is saying that it was already fulfilled - by me - and cannot upload the file.This makes no sense. I am the same user. I never had another account. I need to gain access to this file for work. It is very important that I access this right away.I tried using Bluefire -same thing! HELP.

I recently got a new computer and am trying to read my books on it with Adobe Digital Editions.  I previously was able to read all of my books on Adobe Digital Editions on my old computer.  However, when I try to open my books on the new computer, I get an "E_ADEPT_SIGNIN_CONNECTION_EXCEPTION http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/SignInDirect aldiko-feedbooks https://adobe.feedbooks.com/AdobeAuth" error message.  I do have an Aldiko account, which I am unable to authorize on my new computer, but I am now getting this message for all my books, including those that should be able to be opened with my Adobe account.  I tried deleting the ADEPT folder from the registry several times, but it did nothing.  I verified the clock, and it is correct.  I went to the second website, but it seems like it's not working correctly either. So I now cannot open any of my DRM-protected e-books on my computer.  Can anyone help? 

The book shows up in Adobe Digital Editions after it is downloaded. Then I drop it onto to my Nook and it shows up there also. When I try to open it on the Nook I get this message "Error Opening Book, Loan Token update Failed. Please turn on Wi-Fi and connect to network to continue".. 

Long time ago, I installed adobe digital edition and I rent epub books farom my local library, then copy it on my kobo reader.  months ago I had to  clear all my laptop and reinstall everything.  Last week I tried to copy a book on my kobo reader and sais it sais 'not autorized to copy'.  I followed instructio ns to authorize bot my laptop and reader, but I still get the error message.  Can somebody help me ?

I am encountering a "too many activations" error on Adobe Digital Editions although I have only used this ID on one other computer.Can I please get my ID reset?

I originally purchased and downloaded a book on Digital Editions 3.0. Then I downloaded 4.5.7 and the book still showed up. However, when I try to login under my adobe id on another device, the book will not show up. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello!I have just installed Adobe Digital Editions on my laptop and Android device. To start with there was an authorization issue as it did not detect my Adobe ID (though I'll never know how!). So I deauthorized and authorized several times till it got authorized. But then, when I try to open the downloaded Google books,the .acsm file does not open and this prompt shows up.Unable to DownloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHEDThis happens both on my laptop and my android phone.Please help!!!P.S. I have been trying this because I would be more comfortable reading the book in other ebook readers, it would be great if someone can guide me with that as well.

I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my MacBook Pro. Then I started downloading a file.acsm but can't download it and the following message appears and remains on the screen "contents downloading.."I deleted the APP and re-downloaded Adobe Digital Editions but I got the same result.Please could you suggest me a resolution?Thank you in advance for all information you can give me.Giovanna

Buenas a todosTenia un ereader sony con el podía comprar libros y transferirilo a mi ebook sin problemas. Ahora tengo un  energy  sytem por hd. He descargado el Adobe digital edition, tengo la cuenta id, He autoriado el equipo. Pero cuando conecto el ereader con el usb , el pc lo reconoce, peor no lo reconoce el Adobe digital edition. He pensado que quizás sea porque es el mismo pc donde tenia el sony. Pero no se como hacer.Gracias por la ayuda

Greetings.Am running ADE 4.5.7.179634 on a Toshiba Qosmio X70-B-102 with Windows 8.1 (x64) updated to KB2976978. ADE runs fine with all my EPUBs and PDFs, except for one (1) single Epub: Project Gutenberg's pg56550-images.epub (The Popol Vuh by Lewis Spence).I can load the book into ADE and it will show me the TOC and Cover. However, when I click on a TOC-entry an Error-box appears, telling me that ADE's stopped working etc and the program terminates. Same thing when I try to simply turn pages. I never get beyond the Cover: ADE stops working.This is really the ONLY entry in my library that causes problems. But when I take a look at it with a metadata-editor like SIGIL 0.9.8, I cannot find any problem.Anybody any suggestions?Willem Vermeer

I can't find any way of downloading a book I allegedly "borrowed."  I have no idea if the book is REALLY still there, but since right after it was valid, through to now, several hours later, I still get the SAME error message, with no explanation, no workaround, not even a link to fix it:Unable to download Error getting License, License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_DATABASE OKWhat is E_ADEPT_DATABASE?  Where do I find a description of a workaround for this error?  I see plenty of posts about the PROBLEM, but not a single resolution, at least, not one that works.  I did find a link to a workaround, but I tried it and it STILL doesn't work.HOW do I download a borrowed book?  I tried tech support, but even THEY have no idea what E_ADEPT_DATABASE is.    Which isn't very impressive.  If this software does not work, where do I find software that DOES work and IS supported by people who are knowledgeable about how to use it?

I installed Adobe Digital Editions on my smartphone and on my PC. I logged in with the same ID, but the content isn't the same. I think the devices aren't correctly connected, so that I can't see the same ebooks. What can I do to see the same content on my smartphone and on my PC?

After having to deauthorize and authorize my kobo aura many times,  I received a message telling me I had too many devices on my account and so started a chat.  Eventually, the agent understood that i only had one kobo aura that i had to keep reauthrorizing and they fixed my account so i could activate again.When I try to download books now, i get another message telling me :  This book is protected by ADRM, because you previously deauthroized your eReader, you need to reimport the book using ADE.I have tried downloading new books and get the same message, even though they were borrowed from library and downloaded after i reauthorized my eReader.

I lost all of my highlights around page 90 in a book I was reading in Adobe Digital Editions on my IPad. It is a textbook for university, so if I can’t recover my highlights I have to start over.Can this be resolved?

Hi, can anyone help please? I have 'lost' the books I purchased from my Digital Editions library. My libraries are now empty...how can I find the books again? I think this may have happened when I was forced to change my password after Adobe had a data breach in 2013, but I'm not sure. Any help appreciated.

Hello! I have bought a book from Elsevier.com several days ago, managed to open it on my desktop without associating it to my Adobe ID (just authorised id on the computer), then today tried to have it on my laptop with no success. Thought that would be a good idea (no way!) to de-authorise Adobe Digital editions on my desktop and since then I cannot even open the file. Contacted Adobe support, unistalled Adobe Digital Editions, removed any registry entries as specified but with no luck, the error from title still appears (Unable to download / Error getting licence / License server communication problem / E_LIC_ALREADY FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER).Any possible solutions?Thank you!

ADE suddenly closed down and after reopening all my recent higlights and comments were lost.How can this be? How do I recover them?

Immensely frustrating waste of time: ADE 4.5.7 (32-bit) was working perfectly yesterday but won't load today. I had to do a forced shutdown last night, but no other programs are affected.When I try to open ADE, Windows' Task Manager shows it running in a background process but nothing of ADE appears on the screen. I've rebooted and re-installed (from a freshly downloaded installer). No success.The forums show lots of other similar issues but no consistent solution. One person said the problem just went away by itself!
