Digital Editions

I borrow ebooks from my local library. However, i can't seem to download anything on ADE 4.5.7 it doesn;t even show a "bookshelf" on the home page. Can anybody help me? I have uninstalled/installed a million times. And authorized/eraseauthorization a million times as well. It's quite frustrating. My ereader is just a paper weight lately!

I bought a book from google play book and wish read in my iPad Pro (iOS 11) using Adobe Digital Edition. However, it always pop out "Connection Error Detcted: Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."But i able to download and viewed in Windows 10 with Adobe Digital Edition.My question is, is there Adobe digital edition doesn't support view google play books such as EPUB or PDF format?

Each time I try to authorize I get the following message:

No one can provide support for this problem?  I searched a lot of this subject, but no any answer from your side.So many people reported the problem here, and you guys suggest us report it to Customer Care.However, Customer Care told us that they can't solve the problem by them and need to post the problem here, and the engineer here will help us to solve it.It's enough, pls tell us how to solve this problem?  Who is the correct party to solve this problem?  Don't put me into the loop again and again.Thx.

I have been trying to use Adobe Digital Editions to read an EPUB book I bought through Google Play Books on my Windows 10 PC. The major problem I have been having is with highlighting. I made highlights in a book yesterday, and reopened the book again today, but the book does not show the highlights. I did find the Annotations folder, and in the Annotations folder there is an .annot file with the same file name. I opened the annot file with a text reader, and my highlights are in the file. I just don't know why Adobe Digital Editions does not open the highlights in the annot file when I open the epub file it should be associated with.One problem I have noticed is that even though I open my file, I am unable to highlight. I know that if I want to highlight I can press "Copy to Library." Then it will make a copy of the file, and allow me to highlight. The new file will show as the same name with "- copy" at the end. Recently, my hard drive C: crashed and I lost all my Programs.  I re-installed Adobe Digital Editions on my new hard drive C: & added my e-books from a back-up drive.  After I installed the program, I had to change my Adobe ID password because the old did not work.  I also authorized this computer with this new C: drive. Now about 50% of my books are showing permissions errors - -  "The document is licensed for a different user account." What can be done so I can access all 100% of my e-books ?I am running Windows 10 & version 4.5.7.179634 of Digital Editions.  Need help to access all my books.

i recently purchased an eBook to run with Adobe Digital Editions, after downloading it (trying three times) half of my book is missing. I need this book for university and am very unhappy with the customer service I received from customer support. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.

Hello,I signed up for a library card in order to loan ebooks from the library to read on my kobo touch but I can't actually read them on my ereader. I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and can get the books to show up in there after downloading them from the library's Overdrive site but when they show up on my ereader and I click on them to read there is an error message saying I'm not authorized to read them. Now when I go into Digital Editions to try and re-add them to my device, I get an error message in ADE that says CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book. I have tried authorizing my computer and device in ADE using my Overdrive username and my Adobe ID to no avail. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE turning my Macbook on and off. And still nothing. It shouldn't be this hard to rent library ebooks! Does anyone know how to get this working? Or an app that works more seamlessly to get books onto the device?

Hello,Iam trying  to use ADE since 6month (including complete reinstallation of MacOS), but also now under MacOS 10.13.2 - ADE 4.5 does not work!Open then ASCM (> 100 pages paper) file from a public library, it open, download & freezes at the end of download when bar is 100%!After open close, sometimes then can open book, but also partially crashes when going through pages!Is that a common problem, known bug-fixes? Really disappointing to find book, but due to ADE I cannot proper read them!Edit: Trying to add multiple ascm files, it hangs also already at 100% of first one...Nachricht geändert durch Jörn

I currently cannot opem ebooks I bought with Adobe DRM. When I try to install the .acsm files, I receive the error message: E_ACT_NOT_READ. When I try to de-authorise my Mac, I also get an error message saying I should try again later. But that does not help either. I installed the newest version of Digital Editions, still the same issues. What can I still do?

My PC is authorised for Adobe Digital Editions, but the default authorisation is linked to an old email address account.  I want to erase the computer authorisation and re authorise with my new email address, but I no longer have the password to erase the old email address account !

Hi, I am reading ebooks from digibib (Onleihe.de) with Adobe Digital Edition, since a few weeks I cannot read the newspaper FAZ. I see only the Headline and empty pages. I got the Information, that the problem is produced by the current Version 4.5.7. Older Version should run! So, what to do now?a. waiting for a correction patch? After downlouding and installing ADE (4.5.6) on my Win XP PC the program doesn't start up (After a double click on rhe ADE icon it seems to start for a moment, but it remains "dead".Same with ADE 4.0.Pls give me a suggestion !Tank youVera

After installed, an installer pop up shows at every Windows startup.I have tried to uninstall without success, using the Windows Add/Remove Programs. I also tried the uninstall.exe file that is located at the installation folder.Machine is Windows 7.How can I remove the Adobe Digital Editions installer pop up?

when I go to download an  ebook from my libray I get the message Error:check Activation.  when I do that, it says that my computer is activated.  I believe I may be having a problem because I tried downloading Adobe Digital Editions on a different computer, but did not activate it to complete the download.  Now I am home on my own computer and my Adobe Digital Editions is not working.  I am now receiving the Error message about checking Activation.  I have found where I can deactivate my account and then reactivate it, I know how to deactivate, but do not know how to activate again.  I really do not want to lose what I have in Adobe Digital Editions right now.  Can you please advise me on how to activate again.  I am using Windows 10.Ev

Imhaving problem downloading books to my nook. When I download the book it appears to be working however when i try to pull book up on my nook it says that the book has been returned even though i havent read. When I try to redownload it says that the book is already downloaded and gives me option to replace or duplicate.  I have tried both andit looks as though it is doing partial download but when i try to pull up on nook it tells me book returned.  The system worked much bwetter when the books were downloaded to overdrive.

Digital editions stops when I connect my ereader to authorize it. I can authorize my mac but not my ereader in this way
