Digital Editions

I have followed all the help steps outlined in Help Support but 'Device' does not come up on the screen.  I am using a Macintosh and a Sony PRS-T2.I have authorised the computer but have not been asked to authorise the device.Thanks,Graeme

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editor and opened the document.  I have enlarged the text but cannot seem to scroll down on the page, what am I doing wrong?

I tried to activate my new kobo ereader in Adobe Digital Editions and it says too many activations.I can´t see how to reset my activations by myself, anybody knows ?Thank youvictorcamus@redfarma.org

Hallo zusammen,Ein letzter Schrei nach Hilfe: seit  einigen Monaten beschäftigt mich ein berühmt/berüchtigter Adobe-Digital-Editions-Fehler, der weit verbreitet ist und anscheinend bevorzugt auf dem Mac auftritt. Ich habe alles in allen relevanten Foren und Blogs gelesen und ausprobiert. Geholfen hat es nichts.Ich habe daraufhin den Adobe-Support kontaktiert. Dieser hat mir zweimal Links geschickt, die aber beide auf der gleichen Standardseite landen. Die Handelsanleitung lautet im Prinzip: „Autorisierung löschen und neu Autorisieren, im Zweifelsfalle ADE deinstallieren und neueste Version installieren“. Da alles nicht funktioniert hat, habe ich den Support erneut kontaktiert und erhielt folgende Auskunft: „ADE ist ein kostenloses Produkt. Einen weitergehenden Support bieten wir in diesem Falle nicht an“. Ist das nicht toll. Dann sollte Adobe doch wenigstens ehrlich sein und zugeben, dass das Teil auf einem MAC nicht korrekt läuft. Diverse Foren und Blogs legen diesen Schluß nahe.

Adobe Digital Editions zeigt beim Schließen von Epubs, die nur auf der Festplatte sind, die Fehlermeldung "Die Lesezeichen-Funktion funktioniert nur, wenn das Buch in der Bibliothek geöffnet ist. [ ] Diese Warnung nicht mehr anzeigen."Wenn ich den Haken bei nicht mehr anzeigen setze, ändert das nichts daran, dass die Meldung trotzdem jedes Mal angezeigt wird. Das nervt, gibt es Abhilfe?Adobe Digital Editions displays the error message "The bookmark function only works when the book is opened in the library." [ ] Do not show this warning anymore. "If I set the checkbox no longer display, this does not change the fact that the message is displayed every time. That is annoying, is there remedy?

tried to delete activation key but forgot Password, what can i do?

Hi,I'm trying to  use my Adobe DE for my KOBO and when I'm opening the page the only thing I have is a blank page with que upperline and the only button I can use is Help. I tried about 10 times to delete and dowload again. I tried the version 2.0 and 3.0,  the last time of the 3.0 was opening....I succefully download the bookin the ADE before he desapeared. I tried to click to run as admin.... So I can't rent book since 3 weeks. I've also tried to create another adobe ID. I also tried the appli on my cell phone and it's working but I can't tranfer the rents books on my kobo... WHAT CAN I DO ???Thank you. Sorry if my english is not verry goog, I speak french!

Downloaded e-book (several times), try to open it and it locks up. What can I do? Is there any resource that I can turn to?

ADE old email no longer access, and I also can not remember the password. so what should I do ?

I have a Mac with OS X 10.10.2 (Yosemite).  I am running Digital Editions 4.0.3.  The same problem also happened on Digital editions 4.0.2.I have signed into Digital editions with my Adobe ID and can see all of my books (I migrated from a PC).  However, I cannot open any new borrowed (library) epub books in digital editons.  The error message I get is Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READYI have tried signing out of digital editions.  In the older (4.0.2_ version I was able to do this, sign back in again, but still had the same problem (same error message).  In the newer digital editions when I try to erase authorization information, I get the error message Unable to erase authorization information.  Please try again after some time.I am pretty sure this a mac-only problem as it works perfectly well and I am able to add borrowed books etc on my PC.  I am new to mac so maybe I am missing something obvious....b

I've been using Digital Editions for my textbooks this semester and previously had no issues authorizing it and reading my books on my computer and iPhone. I recently switched from iPhone to Android, and have been having a plethora of problems.All of a sudden, my PC version of digital editions unauthorized itself, and when I try to reauthorize it, it says "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't previously been used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices" despite this PC being the first thing I authorized my account on (I have also since unauthorized my iPhone).I'm not sure if this is why, but my books also do not transfer to my android, despite it being authorized (I have followed all of the troubleshooting steps provided by Adobe to no avail).On top of that, my books are endlessly creating copies of themselves on my PC version of digital editions.Anyone have any ideas on how to solve these issues? Thanks!

I requested this months ago and it was never completed. Please reset my device activation count, as I purchased a new laptop and phone and cannot access my books on either of them.

I have a client with Irlam's Syndrome which means she needs a lot of access support. She needs to be able to do the following:-change background colour of the book pagehave text to speech by using MAGic 14 Both of these options are not available to her in Digital Editions which she is being forced to use as of 31st October  Dawsonera are having to change from Adobe Acrobat Reader ( which has these functions she needs) to Adobe Digital Editions which supports EPUB formats and doesn't have the above options. Unless someone can tell me different.

When i click on the book in Digital Editions it says I have to authorize it. And when i type in my adobe id and password it says "the vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. try again"I bought the book two days ago and tried to activate it on my iphone as well. But now nothing works!!!

I have downloaded some study material on DE and when I click on a hyperlink taking me to another page, it automatically changes the page view. I have loaded & unloaded Adobe digital Editions 7 cannot get it to show Transfer place for books!!!!! Help needed

Hi, Adobe Digital Editions is completely useless for me at this moment and it is terrible in all of its functions. I cannot work more than 15min. due to its really slow performance and because the application keeps on crashing constantly without saving any of my work. It is even extremely slow when trying to move up or down on pages, go figure.I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Renaming the library folder, changing the ebook from location, closing everything in my computer and only leaving ADE up, but its its the same problem. The ebook is only 7.2mb in size (511 pages) and i'm completely stressed-freaking out because I purchased my ebook and I cannot keep studying it. instead of learning I just have a tsunami of problems and anxiety with this little obnoxious turtlehead app. My computer runs fine and its not the problem.Please if someone knows how to make ADE faster and avoid it from freezing/crashing and seeing that offensive beach balloon every 2min. I keep getting Activation server Error. code: E_adept_user_unknownhttp.//adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/activate Digital Editions encountered an error on activation server. To retry click Try Again button. I couldn't open books on my Kobo reader, so I deauthorized it and now can't re authorize. Just get the error message. I have the latest ADE 4.5.6 on a Win 7 computer.

Used to be a walk in the park, right now it's suddenly a nightmare. I'm guessing (?) due to their authorization that seems to defy logic. I got the book from the library into DE (btw - tried both DE versions 3 and 4 and 2 of my home computers). I could read it on a computer screen but cannot read it on my KOBO (which was the whole purpose of borrowing and e-book in the first place). Wasted an awful lot of time on it already. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have digital edition on three devices - 2 iPads and an iPhone.  Last week I upgraded my iPhone and one iPad to iOS 11, and on those devices when I search for a word, it takes me to a blank gray page and I have to close/restart the app.  This isn’t an issue on my other iPad running iOS 10.  Please fix.

I opened a file on my iPhone 7 through Adobe Digital Editions and I tried to open the same file on my MacBookPro laptop with the same Adobe ID and it would not let me.  It gave me an error reading: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERPlease let me know how I could access this file on my laptop.  It is a purchased file from Heinemann's website (Fountas and Pinnell Literacy Continuum).Thank you!Katie

Wenn ich es im Adope digital Edition öffnen will um es zu lesen oder auf mein e Book zu übertragen dann kommt diese Fehlermeldung.E_LIC_ALLREADY-FULLFILLED-BY-ANOTHER-USER:Was bedeutet das? Mir ist nicht bewusst, dass ich ein anderes Gerät angemeldet habe. Ich habe nur mein Passwort geändert, weil ich ein neues e Book habe und dieses anmelden wollte .
