Digital Editions

The Windows version is a buggy mess. It just crashes on me. The IOs version is sluggish and they havent compensated for the way the screen is designed. There's literally a black bar cover the first few lines of text. Reading through some of the history here Adobe has not made any effort to make this app work for anyone. Shame. It's not like alot of schools use this school for us to access the books they want us to read for the classes. This app is so terrible I have to take a break from my education tonight to figure out how to make it run better... guess what. you cant... and its obvious Adobe doesnt give a damn.

When I try to copy epub books (.acsm format) into my DE app I see an error message - Check activation.  It has been working fine before I had my laptop upgraded with the new SSD cloned from the old and the RAM upgraded from 4GB to 8GB.  I am guessing I might need to unintall & reinstall DE (V3.0.1.9134) but wanted to check if anyone has a solution before trying this. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

I downloaded today the Adobe Digital Editions in my new PC and purchased 2 ebooks.  The first time I opened the program I saw my existing libary and after a short while the 2 new books too.  However after closing the program and reopening it later on, I cannot see the previous books of my library, I see only the 2 books I purchased today. I de-authorized the PC, erased the program, reinstalled it and re-aurhorized the PC multiple times, but to no avail. On my ipad, where I have also the ADE installed, I can see my previous library books but not the 2 ones I bought today.   I would appreciated it if you have any suggestions for tackling this problem.

Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.8 suddenly stopped working when I tried to load a second library ebook (it loaded the first). It just sits at the splash screen and says "loading library...." but will NOT open. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling ADE; uninstalling it and installing an older version I still had from two years ago; and even taking Windows back about 10-20 days using a restore point. NOTHING worked!Please, please help! I am an avid reader and this is how I get my library books. It's very frustrating!I have searched Google so many times to try to find an answer that works and I can't.I use Windows 10. Thank you.

I can see our ebooks in Adobe Digital Editions.But since a while it's not possible anymore to authorize (or deauthorize) an ebook, because ADE closes immediately after selecting the ebook. I use the latest version (4.5.12) of ADE. My Ebook is authorized at this moment, but sometimes it loses this authorization spontaneously.Does somebody recognize this problem? What can I do? Remove and reinstall ADE?

 I tried many times. but some ebook via acsm broken.11 ebooks broken like that screenshot.and one ebook broken with top/bottom cuttedI tried on google support and they say, "we can't solve it. you should ask adobe cs."please answer or contact to me. 

Hello: I have had multiple errors when ADE 4.5 cannot connect to the Adobe fulfillment server. After reinstalling, I am currently unable to authorize it due to the following activation server error. Would you happen to have any suggestions on how to fix the situation? Thanks!

Play store claims Digital editions won't work on my device. I have Android 14.

J'ai installé ADE après l'achat de mon macbook air M2 en novembre dernier et j'ai pu emprunter des livres numériques à ma médiathèque et les transférer sur ma liseuse. Un mois plus tard, ADE ne fonctionne plus.Malgré la consultation de différents sites et de nombreux essais d'installations d'ADE, à chaque fois, j'ai le message suivant : " ADE a quitté de manière imprévue"Apple et Adobe n'ont pu m'aider et m'ont dit que je n'étais pas la seule à rencontrer ce problème!Quelqu'un a t'il réussi à régler ce genre de problème?Merci d'avance pour votre aide  

Windows:    Fermez toutes les applications.    Choisissez Start > Run (Démarrer) Run (Exécuter).    Dans la zone de texte Ouvrir, tapez regedit, puis appuyez sur Entrée. L’Éditeur du Registre s’ouvre.    Dans le volet gauche de l’Éditeur du Registre, recherchez la clé de Registre suivante : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept    Sélectionnez la touche Adept.    Choisissez Fichier > exporter.    Dans la boîte de dialogue Exporter le fichier de registre, sélectionnez Branche sélectionnée sous Plage d’exportation. Entrez un nom et un emplacement pour la clé de Registre de sauvegarde, puis cliquez sur Enregistrer.    Cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur la touche Adept et choisissez Supprimer.    Dans la boîte de dialogue Confirmer la suppression de la clé, cliquez sur OK.    Fermez l’Éditeur du Registre.    O

Bonjour, Je travaille pour un réseau de médiathèques proposant un service de prêt de livres numériques.Les usagers téléchargent des fichiers .acsm pour emprunter leurs livres numériques.Avec les dernières versions, nous rencontrons de forts dysfonctionnements de l'ajout des fichiers .acsm dans Digital Editions. Soit import du mauvais titre, pas d'import, messages d'erreur dont erreur E_STREAM_ERROR.Les médiathèques, nous inclus, proposons une solution de contournement qui est de passer par la version 3.0 d'Adobe Digital Editions. Mais cela n'est pas satisfaisant.Quelqu'un aurait-il une meilleure solution à ce problème ?Est-ce envisagé dans les développements de Digital Editions d'améliorer ce fonctionnement qui impacte de nombreux utilisateurs .?

cOMO PUEDO CAMBIAR UN LIBRO DESCARGADO EN TIPO ASCM A EPUB? 

I use Adobe Digital editions as librarian to download books from Netgalley. We removed some cookie files from the computer and ADE stopped working. I downloaded ADE from the Adobe website (most recent version), but after installation the program won't open. I contacted our computer tech support. They said the file from Adobe might be corrupt or maybe I needed an earlier version. I called Adobe and they said to check with Adobe Support community.  Any suggestions?

I have the Adobe Digital Editions installed on two laptops. Today I have uninstalled it from one laptop and now I cannot see anything on the other laptop. There is no book in the My Digital Editions folder.

I bought an image book that needs to be "two-page visualized".I can't find that visualization option.Thank you for your help.

Suddenly some products, regularly purchased in ebook format, are no longer viewable. I would also point out that the problem has only arisen in respect of some books, not all.
