How do I transfer ebooks from Aldiko and Adlibris Letto to ADE on my Samsung tablet?

I was having issues with the program so I uninstalled then reinstalled, but now whenever I try to add a book it gives me an error message 'Error! Check Activation.". But there's nowhere in the program or on my account that says anything about activation. What do I do?

While Digital editions is in my list of apps it's not in the list of default programs and cannot be selected to open epub files. Acrobat always jumps in and tells me it cannot open that type of file.How do I get Digital Editions into the  default programs list so as to make it the default?.Also, I have Adobe Acrobat as my default for ,pdf files but I still have to select it to open a PDF file. Surely having it marked as the default, that should not be necessary or is there some way of opening a pdf without needing to got to "open with"?

I've started downloading books from my public library, which uses Adobe Digital Editions (I had to download it to my laptop) and once downloaded, from there I was able to transfer the book to my Nook.  I managed to do this for two books, but now it won't transfer.  The book is in the Adobe Digital Editions library and it looks 'normal' when I transfer it to my Nook folder/bookshelf (drag and drop), but now I get an error message that there's no permission to copy (I've tried it with three different books now).  Plus, I keep getting a Nook popup window to choose a program.  And, the book is showing in my Nook's library but when I try to open it, it tells me the program is not supported.  I don't know what's gone wrong since it had worked fine this past week.

Hello, I have re-installed windows 7 professional and I have installed again ADE 4.5 (I had 3 before), to use with overdrive and my public (U.K) library. When I try to transfer books to my Kobo e-reader I have the following issues: No permission to copy this book and when I open file and paermission I recieve this: The document is licensed for a different user account. Thanks

Installer for 4.5.6 keeps closing before install completes on Windows 10.5. I've tried shutting down the firewall and anti-virus, I've tried different browsers, no success. Here's a screen shot of what comes up each time. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all. I really need someone's help.I buy an ebook and at the first time I open it without authorized my computer with an adobe id on my first computer. Now i am trying to open it on my other laptop and i have tried to authorized my first computer with an adobe id. But it still not work. I have de-authorized and authorized again buat it still same. I also can't read the ebook now ! Please, can some help me??

Ive been trying for 2 days to sign up and install adobe digital reader so I can read ebooks on my mac 10.6.8.  I get a message that there's no application to read the book I downloaded yesterday.   I can;t tell whether the digital readers have been downloaded or not, or whether they work in the first place.  Does the digital reader allow me to download books on my Mac?  How can I tell it it works or not?  I got no informtion from adobe at all they just want  to keep viewing my (overcomplicated) password--over & over & over.  Live chat refused to help although I waited in line almost 2 hrs.

Today is my first attempt at buying and reading an e-book. I have no prior experience with Digital Editions. It just keeps giving me issues. It freezes during the transfer of the book into the program. The whole green bar shows as full, but the only option is cancel which doesn't work either. The program gives you an error that it is waiting for the program to respond, and you either wait or force it closed. I waited 2 hours for the book to import before forcing the app closed. When I reopened the app it showed my book, but yet again if you try to read it or do anything for that matter, the program freezes and you have to force it closed. I double checked that I had the most recent version of Digital Editions from the Adobe website, I re-downloaded the program, uninstalled, reinstalled, and tried again and i'm still getting the same problem. I downloaded an epub library book and after attempting to install it using Adobe Digital Editions my e-reader is telling me "Your e-reader is not authorized to open this book. This book is protected by adobe digital rights management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized (fyi both computer and ereader are authorized) your ereader you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions."Have tried this process now a few times and get this error message.

I cannot Authorise my computer on Digital Editions no matter what I do. I have tried opening a new Adobe account but this has just not worked.

I have a Sony Reader and am trying to get ADE to recognise my device. No device authorisation option appears when I launch ADE.

Trying to download purchased google PDFs and EPUBs directly into Adobe Digital Editions.I get the message "Connection Error Detected" Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."I am definitely connected, have turned wifi on and off, and can obviously download a book, since another book worked. I have been having this problem with all the books on my iPad pro, and have even deleted and reinstalled the Digital Editions app. Any suggestions? I really need these expensive books for school, groan!

HI I WOULD LIKE TO EITHER HAVE MY ACCOUNT RESET WERE I CAN DELETE EVERY DEVICE THAT WAS AUTHORIZED HOWEVER DOING IT THROUGH MY ADOBE ACCOUNT OR OVER THE WEB. ALSO CAN NOT USE THE ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS ON MY PC CAUSE WHEN I ASK TO AUTHORIZE IT IS STUCK ON THE GREEN AUTHORIZING COMPUTER SIGN FOR DAYS. reset number of activation adobe digital edition

I have an old Moody Blue's song with Denny Laine called "Stop."  It has a huge amount of hiss at the beginning.  The 2 CD claims to be remastered.  I cannot remove the hiss using adobe Audition 1.5 which has worked great on other songs.  I did some searching for tutorials and no luck.  One tutorial mentioned the paint brush using the Spectral View.  Does 1.5 have the pain brush option?  Any suggestions and thanks.  Ed

I have previously successfully used ADE to download books from my local library to my Kobo e-reader via my Windows PC running 8.1.I have reinstalled ADE 4.5 several times and still unable to download to ADE.My library have checked their end and referred me to Adobe. Several times the ADE programme just seems to freeze and I need to restart my PC to close ADE.Any suggestions please?Trish

I just created an Adobe ID to receive a purchased  acsm file and am not able to open the fileas this message comes up: Error! Check Activation.Has anyone run into this problem?

I have been trying to access my adobe digital editions  purchased e-books for the last 6 or so months but i keep on getting an error message(says activation server error. code: E_ACT_NOT_READY). I tried uninstalling and installing it again but its still giving me problems i even changed my password but  it doesn't help not even on my mobile app. I do not understand what is happening. please help me get access to my e-books.I am on windows 8 ad my computer is authorized,so is my phone.

My laptop has all books that I have but, I cannot access the books by mobile. What I need to do? !

Bonjour,J'ai eu des problèmes avec mon PC et j'ai dû changer mon disque dur. J'ai réinstallé Adobe et Kobo Desktop et récupéré mon compte adobe. Toutefois, je ne retrouve pas dans mon compte tous les livres qui sont présents sur ma liseuse. Comment puis-je synchroniser celle-ci avec mon ordi et mettre sur mon ordi les livres qui sont sur ma liseuse. De plus, lorsque je connecte ma liseuse, son contenu n'apparaît pas entièrement sur Windows explorer, comme si certains epub n'existaient plus ! J'utilise Windows 7.Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?Merci !

I made extensive notes/annotations on an eBook in Adobe Digital Editions when it expired. I tried downloading it again, but my notes are not there. Is there any way to recover it?

Although speech is set up correctly in my IOS device - it work with other apps - it does not work in Adobe Digital Editions. All it does, is speak the page numbers, When I select text, the speak button remains absent. Because I have a vision problem I would be grateful for suggestions that allow me to fix this.
