I forgot my password to log in Adobe digital edition.  How do I retrieve a forgotten password?  Thank you

I cannot open my app. Asked the support team and they told me it is discontinued. How can I access the books that were on there?Kind regardsLisa

I changed from Sony Reader to Pocketbook and installed ADE on my PC (Windows10) and authorised with an Adobe-ID.. Some of my acsm-books – that I could read on my Sony – were converted without any problems, but on a few conversion does not work. First, I got the following error message: E_ADEPT_HTTP_GET_NOT_SUPPORTED. Now, I tried again, and the message is: check activation. Activation? Which activation? Where check it? Now it came even worse – I can’t read the book neither on the Sony or Pocketbook. Any solution?Thanks a lot for your help. 

The login for Adobe Digital Editions does not work for me. It always shows me how that my password and Adobe ID are incorrect while the login on the website works fine. Not sure if this matters, but I'm using 2FA and Adobe Digital Editions never asked for anything regarding my 2FA. It just outright tells me I'm using a wrong Adobe ID and password. I tested Adobe Digital Editions for Windows 10 and iOS. Both do not work.

In my free adobe digital edition can you, please remove or delete user id [email removed]  and user id [email removed] . Up to date because of these 2 users in my adobe digital edition I cann't sownload my ebooks in my librairy (in adobe digital edition ). My user id is [email removed] . Thanks for your help. What do I do if the ACSM file retrieves the wrong book?

Hallo zusammen, ich habe 3 Büchern für die Adobe Digital Edition gedownloadet. Leider dieses mal ohne Adobe ID (ohne Regestrierung). Der Rechner ist jetzt kaputt und die Büchern sind nicht mehr verfügbar.   Jetzt habe ich einen anderen Rechner und die Adobe ID habe ich auch eingerichtet. I read ebooks all the time, but I am new to Adobe Digital Editions.  Other e-reader programs i use have options so i can change the background color and text color.Is there a way to do this with ADE?I need this option because the bright white background on the computer screen gives me a headache after just a few minutes of reading. No the books I am currently wanting are not available in another format, so I must use ADE if I am to finish the series I have started.Thanks for the help in advance.

Hola a todos,  Os agradeceria si alguien puede ayudarme. Recientemente me han regalado un Tagus Gaia Eco +. Yo lo quería para poder leer libros de las Bibliotecas públicas. Segun tutoriales he instalado el Aadobe Digital Editions y he autorizado mi ordenador. He conectado el ereader Tagus y no me aparece en ningún lugar la opción de poderlo autorizar pues en ayuda de adobe esta opción ya no me sale activa y tampoco no aparece en la columna izquierda como dispositivo activo.  He tomado en prestamo un libro de eBiblio y me permite leerlo en el PC pero no en el ereader. En el Tagus me sale la portada  y me pide que configure mi ID de Adobe. Lo hago (entiendo que está correcto porque solo aparece la opción de desactivar) pero cuando le doy al libro me lo vuelve a pedir.  Que mas puedo hacer? Alguien se ha encontrado con el mismo problema? Un saludo. Gracias

All of a sudden all my books in Adobe Digital Editions are marked "MISSING". How do I access it again?

HelloI bought a book from Google Play StoreI received the acsm file.When I opened the acsm file with adobe Digital Edition, there are some different parts.If you look at the picture, the left side is the original and the right side is the opening of the acsm file.

Sous Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11.187303J'ai une liseuse flambant neuve (Kobo Clara 2E). Je reçois le message: Votre liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre. Ce livre est protégé par DRM. Ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précédement, vous devez le réimporter en utilisant ADE.  Sauf que ça fait 3 fois que je fais les étapes décrites à ce lien (https://help.kobo.com/hc/fr/articles/360018160853-R%C3%A9soudre-une-erreur-de-Contenu-verrouill%C3%A9-dans-Adobe-Digital-Editions) et rien n'y fait. J'ai une liseuse neuve parce que je croyais que mon ancienne était désuète... Buongiorno. Possiedo un Kobo Nia e un Chromebook e devo autorizzare il lettore e-book tramite l'app ADE. Come è possibile? Ci sono alternative ad ADE o alternative su browser?

How can I authorise/recognize/accept my Kobo through the ADE app (I have a Chromebook, that's the problem..)? Are there any alternatives to ADE to do so? Any way to authorise it via browser? Any suggestions? Actually I can only read ebooks bought directly on Kobobooks or pirated unprotected ones....Thanks

Hi,I was able to aurthorize the ADE fine last year, but now I got this error instead... I purhcased the ebook for my school and it requires ADE to read. Thanks for your help!

I discarded my old MacBook Air and bought a new one. I have to authorize Adobe Digital Editions on my new MacBook Air in order to be able to download and read books from the public library.But before I can do that I have to de-authorize Adobe Digital Editions on my old MacBook Air. The problem is that my old MacBook Air does not exist anymore.I’d be grateful for good advice.

I have tried uninstalling and deauthorising. I have changed the name of my folder. I have tried running Windows 7 compatible mode. No success. I still cannot see my library or read my books.I am running Windows 11 on Surface 4.

New user.  Non-starter so far.  I download an ePub file from the library and it shows up in Files->Favorites->Downloads.  I start up ADE (v 4.5.11), but the file doesn't appear in the Library view.  There is no Open, Scan, Import or other command that might be used to grab the file from its location.  Sync doesn't make the file appear.  I tried moving the file to icloud, but ADE doesn't see it there, either.  My question is, How the heck do I open ePub files in ADE on my iPad?Thanks in advance for the help.Ken ps- Yes, I have an authorized account in Settings and Auto Download is enabled.

Hi. I’m having trouble downloading books using Adobe Digital Editions. The errors are either “E_ADEPT_ERROR” or “E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER” even though I'm the only user. It happens for books I have previously downloaded, and new ones I have never been able to download before. These are from either Google Play Books or Kobo. Even Adobe's Sample eBooks are supposedly already fulfilled by another user. I used the same email to buy books, to create my Adobe account, and to authorize Adobe Digital Editions (v.4.5.11.187606) on my Mac (Catalina v.10.15.7), which is the only computer I’ve ever used to download books. I even tried using ADE on iPhone, no luck. I tried this a few times: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/error-e-adept-internal-download.html. No luck. I’ve been in touch with Adobe and they said there is no dedicated support for ADE. So they just sent me links to the forums and suggested stuff I already tried. 😞 I’m current

It is not possible to add my Kobo e-reader as a device, because there is no button or option "devices" in my Adobe digital editions. I can only add a library, but there is no option "add device".  It's on a Macbook, maybe that's a problem? Hope you can help me! Thanks 🙂 

I have a Kobo e-reader and have always been able to connect it to ADE. Last week and ever since, it is not showing up under 'Devices'.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE. I de-authorized and re-authorized my computer. I did a factory reset on the Kobo, and I tried a couple different cables. But nothing worked. Are you able to please assist me? Thank you!

I am getting this error "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12" (in ADE 4.5)i tried ways to solve this issue as mentioned:1. tried to erase authorization but got the error " uanbale to erase authorization. pl.try sfter some time" although passwarod enterred was correct.2. deleted the key folder in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adept as was suugusted in one of ealrlier posts but unable to erase autorization. 2. tried to install ADE 3.0 but got  "Error! Check Activation.Note: I expaect that I have got this error since i start sycing to one drive office 365 my documents folder in which my digital edition folder was existing. do ADE have such conflicting issue ith onedrive.if yes please suggest altaernatives to vaoid.  Muach help needed please.regards.
