Hi,Please assist in downloading the Ebook that i bought using Adobe Digital Editions and then export it to PDF.

Good day, I have an issue using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.85 on a 2021 16" Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.1.2. I have ADE authorized, and I can successfully add to the library the .acsm file for my epub purchase from the University of Toronto Press. However, every time I close and reopen the program, the purchased epub disappears. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks,Michael 

On my pc I have highlighted some text. When I look at the document on my tablet or on my phone though, the highlighting is not there. How can I transfer the highlighting, such that I don't have to highlight all several times?

I just downloaded two books from Google Play Books.  I cannot transfer them to my Nook.When I try to open the ASCM file in Adobe Digital Editions, it says:Unable to downloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TOO_SHORT:Thanks for messing up my evening, whoever is responsible for this. I even downloaded Adobe Digital Editions for my Android, my Desktop and Android are both authorized using the same Apple ID, the new 'How to get started' ebook from downloading the app appeared in both my Desktop library and my Android library, but the ebooks that are on the desktop library have not appeared on the Android.  I definitely have the authorization correct, but it's not working both-ways.There also doesn't seem to be any way to open the ebook I purchased from the Google Play Store within the Adobe Digital Editions android app.  So, for my needs, the app is totally useless (no books from my library, and no books from my device).  I ju

I know this is a losing battle, that Adobe has no intention of working with Linux users BUT I am trying my best to buy and read books legally. I'm hoping that someone out there has found a way of doing it and can help me out. I've been buying and reading epub books on an android tablet, but it's not the most comfortable form of reading and I've recently been given an ereader to which I would like to add the books I have already bought and paid for. I've installed ADE via Wine but it's incapable of opening my acsm files. Once or twice (in several dozen attempts) it has succeeded in downloading an epub in which any non standard characters are replaced by question marks. Closing ADE loses the file, it's not there when the program is reopened.  Is there any legal way to obtain ebooks for Linux users or is Adobe encouraging us to be pirates? Hi, I'm still struggling with the E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY. I've followed various suggestions to deauthorize my ADE, and when i try it looks as though it is going to work and then I get this message:Unable to erase authorisation. Please try again after some time.My downloads are working fine on my ipad; it's just the PC which is unhappy but that means I can't move ebooks to my KOBO. Nach 20 minütigem hin und her mit dem Live Support, soll ich hier posten. Bringt mir ja auch nix weil ein Adobe-Mitarbeiter es resetten muss. Lange Geschichte kurzgefasst: Tolino musste mehrmals zurückgesetzt werden, jetzt zu viele Aktivierungen von 6 devices und ich kann mich nicht mehr anmelden und DRM Bücher (also fast alle die ich besitze) lesen.Ich brauche doch einfach nur einen Adobe Mitarbeiter der die angemeldeten Geräte resetted.

Unter meiner Email-Adresse sind 6 Reader angemeldet. 2 sind defekt und sollen ausgewechselt werden. Geht nicht, weil bei der Neuanmeldung der Hinweis erscheint: E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS.Was kenn ich tun, um die Aktivierungen zurückzusetzen?

Version 4.5.12, excellent reader and I was excited to finally find a reader that works so well and fills the gap in the Windows and Android world.  Apple does have an excellent reader, but there was no equivalent until Adobe Digital Editions. Anyway, the problem I discovered is when you delete a bookmark you land at the end of the book. 

I cannot authorize ADE using my NYPL credentials. I keep getting the error message that my user id or password is incorrect. Any suggested solutions?

I do not understand whether or not Digital Editions is flawed as a result of technical retardation on the part of its developers (unlikely), or because it represents a triumph somehow of the rights of publishers over those that pay for access to that published content. The reason for doubting that the crippling navigational and other shortcomings of the product as a result of profound programming retardation comes as a result of comparing Digital Editions to Reader, Acrobat, and so forth. I guess it's cool to play at communist until the folks cutting the bigger check object. I just spent for instance 85 bucks on an electronic text for a law class. The scrolling, inability to copy any text whatsoever, even though I can easily type out what I need in a time-consuming manner, the almost horrificly bad resizing tools and behaviours, I just don't know where to start. Let me just finish by offering both a hearty and sincere, "thanks for a piece of crap".

using a M2 MacBook Air running Sonoma 14.3. when I tried deauthorizing this terrrible, terrible app, I got this error message. I had entered my Adobe password correctly. did I mention that I don't much care for this app?

Hi,I have multiple monitors at work that my laptop is hooked up to.  I am traveling with only my laptop and when I open Digital Editions it creates the window off screen. I have rebooted my laptop and even reinstalled Digital Editions.  When I open Digital Editions, I see a window shoot off to the left and I can't pull it back.  I'm running DE 4.5 and Win 7 Pro. Damit ich mein eBook (ACSM-File) lesen kann, habe ich eben die neueste Version 4.5.12 von ADE auf meinem Notebook (Windows  11) heruntergeladen und mit meinem Adobe Account verknüpft bzw. autorisiert. Wenn ich aber das eBook ins ADE einfüge, werden nur einzelne Seiten angezeigt. Ich habe ADE mehrmals deinstalliert + installiert und auch das eBook neu heruntergeladen, leider bleibt das Problem bestehen. Kommt euch das bekannt vor? Danke für eure Tipps! Stefan

I can't have DRM protected books since I have an error called: E ACT CERTIFICATE SYNTAX when I try to put my ADE ID in my ereader. Someone help me please.

Bonjour,je suis linux mint et j'utilise adobe digital edition 1.7 et lorsque je souhaite ajouter un fichier acsm sur l'application je recois l'erreur W_ADEPT_CORE_ACTIVATION_CERT_NOT_FOUND.J'avais auparavant bien sur desinstallé et reinstallé l'application. desautorisé mon compte et reautorisé mais le probleme persiste.  Quelqu'un saurait-il comment faire ? 

Hello, I purchased an ebook delivered via the ACSM file. I'm successfully using it with Adobe Digital Edition. Now I've been informed by the publisher that they are going to close their service permanently and they informed me that the ebooks will no longer be accessible. Is there any way I can keep the eBook on my computer? Thanks you!

I am a Professor at UNCA. I have ebooks that I can access on my laptop using digital editions. I have installed digital editions on my office desktop this morning, but it won't let me open the books. It keeps asking for login info. I did not have to do that on my laptop.

I have just changed to a new comouter, and have re-loaded Adobe Digital Editions.  I require assistance to locate thedigital libray files on the new computer.
