Hi there,I bought another ebook from Kobo books, and it is a .acsm file. I got it into Adobe Digital Editions but I cannot get ADE to show my device. I have a Sony E Reader and I have been using my ereader with ADE for over 4 years... now it wont work. Why not? Many thanksSarah.

All of a sudden, within the last couple of weeks, we are not able to download books, getting this pop up error window that ADE cannot connect to the Fulfillment Center.  What gives?  Please advise what may be wrong.  We have tried everything to no avail.

when i try to copy a book from digital editions to my nook i get the error message "No permission to copy book"

i have downloaded a book from library, i can read it on my computer. i have transferred it to my nook, which is authorized, it shows on the nook but when i try to open i get the message loan token not found. what do i do

Could you please answer a question regarding Adobe Digital Editions.I downloaded a book on to it and want to know if i can save it to a pin drive or send to a friend thru email.Thank you Kindly for your answer. Alan

I can not activiate new devices because I have hit the 6 device limit.  I no longer have 3 of the devices so I can not do it on the device.  When I have gone to my account, there is no list or any way to see what devices I have listed.  All I know is that I have hit my limit and can not make my new ereader work.  Is there anyway to do this without creating a new account with a different e-mail address?

I have an older Nook.  I bought a new PC 5 months ago.  It uses Windows 10.  I cannot successfully transfer books I've downloaded from my public library to my Nook.  There is a transfer taking place but when I access the book in Documents it shows the author as "Unknown Author".  The title is shown correctly.  When I try to open the book I receive an error message saying the book is unavailable/has been returned.  The book has not been returned.  It's still in ADE where I can open it and read it.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE.  I have unauthorized and re-authorized my Nook.  Neither step solved this problem.  I know the Nook can still accept books correctly because I used my old computer to do this a few days ago.How do I make my new computer transfer to my Nook correctly?

Digital Editions won't find an accented word wether it searches forward or backward. But, it will find an instance of the word "Lumiere" (without the accent) in the bibliography because it is spelled that way there if you search for it without the accent. It won't find "Arrivée" on the next line either.This is a major problem, honestly. In most applications, a non-accented search term will find an accented instance and vice versa. In the very case of Adobe Digital Editions, there is no way to know if an accented word is in a book unless you read up to it. Searching for an accented word with the exact same accented word doesn't find it. A non-accented search term won't find it either. Z.

I have check a book out from he library. It is in ADE and readable. I downloaded to Nook and cannot open., I get a message that it has been returned. It has not--still readable in ADE. Suggestions?

I'm a member of first to read and each time I go to download a book I won it re-downloads ADE but not the book! Does anyone know how to fix this? I've only been able to download one book so far and since then nothing because ADE just keeps re-downloading itself. I have started to cancel the new downloads and then a window pops open saying I need administrative access.Any advice or guidance is appreciated. I have several books I need to review.

Hello, I am trying to authorize my computer with adobe digital editions and a message saying E_AUTH_NOT_READY appears.

I was having problems downloading certain books for a while,but one day, all the books I had already were erased from the page which is now blank and I can't download any more books. Why didn't I receive a notice of some kind before or after this happened? What can I do now to get my books and program back?

"Error check activation" is the message I get when pulling a book from the library. My computer is authorized (per the ADE screen) I have tried un-authorrzing and re-authorizing but nothing works. Please help

Once again I'm having problems opening a newly borrowed library book using Digital Editions. Last time I upgraded to the newest version of Digital Editions, etc. and eventually it worked. Now I'm getting server connection errors again. The error is:  Error getting license, License Server Communication Problem, E_ACT_NOT_READY. The help section is not at all helpful. It says check that I have internet connection...I just downloaded from my library so, not a problem. Says then to try again as that usually resolves the problem. Not at all! Still getting the error. I miss the days when I could borrow a library book directly from my Sony wifi e-reader, return it, etc. Any assistance from those out there would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Mac, and the ebook that I downloaded is only showing the first page of the chapters, and sometimes not even the first page of some chapters.I've tried re-downloading the ebook, and re-installing Adobe Digital Editions. Both have let to the same results.

I just updated my ADE from 2.0 to 4.5. It says I'm already authorized, but when I attempt to download books I purchased, it tells me to check authorization. I have tried control/shift/D to deauthorize it but no window opens. I run Windows 7.

Hello.   I have downloaded ADE 3.0 and installed previously on other computers (Windows 7 and Windows 10) and it has worked fine for transferring epub books to my Kobo Glo from my Public Library.  However, on my current Windows 10 PC, I have been unable to get ADE 3.0 or ADE 4.5.3 to work.  After installation of these programs, none of the initial bookshelves show up, and although my computer recognizes my Kobo Glo, the ADE programs do not.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the ADE programs to no avail.  Any ideas about how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Unable to download then copy books from Overdrive. to KOBO eReader

I got a virus on my computer and I lost everything.  When I reinstalled Digital Editions and tried to load a book on to my ereader it comes up with the error message "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book"  please help...anyone.

I am not able to access around 10 ebooks which I authorized anonymously on my computer.i tried to link and Adobe ID and I lost access to all books.How can I access books I registered without ID if the authorization was erased

I've downloaded, installed, uninstalled, erased authorization, authorized ADE 4.5 on my Windows 10 PC several times. Sometimes I can transfer a book to my nook, but I'm told the user isn't authorized when I try to read it. Other times, I cannot even download the book - I get CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED. I've tried to google this and follow instructions for how to fix it, but nothing works.  Even though I can start a chat session with Adobe, they won't help me with this free product.  Help from the site that I download the ebooks from is non-existent as well.  Can anyone help?

Hi,I keep getting the error message: E_LIC_MAX_DEVICE_LIMIT when I try to open one of my books. I have authorised it on another computer (at work). I was under the impression that I could have two computers per book, and I haven't been able to open it on my home computer at all due to this error. Either way, I deauthorised the book at my work computer and I still can't open it.I tried chat support but they couldn't help.Thanks

Hello, I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition today on my iPad mini to download and read from online books. The reading menu which appears at the bottom of the doesn't have text size adjustment option( as shown in GETTING STARTED WITH Adobe.....). So how do I adjust the text size to my comfort? Why is text size option missing while the brightness control, search and history is appearing below?

Hello all, I was reading a book on digital editions and after a computer reboot the software doesn't run anymore. I've clicked on all  the exe. file folders of the digital editions and opens nothing. It seems the computer try to run it but just for two seconds because in the task manager appears the task and then disappear. Anybody could help me?
