Adobe Digital Editions: I am trying to download two library books. I keep getting this error. I have reauthorized my computer thinking this was the problem but it did not fix it. Please advise.
I recently received a Nook Simple Touch from a friend (it was erased and de-registered).I registered the device successfully.I downloaded ADE in order to download ebooks from my library (and was able to authenticate my Adobe registration).I downloaded the books from my library, was able to open them on the program, transferred them onto my Nook, and then when I tried to open them on the Nook I got the message "Error Dialog: User not activated".After looking at the forums I uninstalled and reinstalled ADE - TWICE.I've also completely erased the Nook TWICE.Neither of these have helped.I took my Nook to my local library, where they couldn't figure this out. Also brought it to my local Barnes & Noble and they also couldn't figure it out.Is there a solution here other than resetting until this works?
I'm trying to transfer an ebook from Digital Editions to my Nook, but I get an error message that the device isn't activated. There seems to be a difference in the email address I used long ago to activate the device. How do I change this?
Hello, my issue started with a "Check activation" error on my ADE program upon downloading 2 books from the public library. I fixed it by deauthorizing ADE through Windows "regedit", then made the problem worse.I couldn't recall my adobeID password so reauthorized ADE without an account. As a result I then could read the 2 new library DRM books I had just downloaded again but not open them on my NOOK. So I deauthorized ADE again, got a new PW for Adobe, and reauthorized ADE again with my original ADE account. Now I get a "lic already used by other user" error for the 2 books (because they are prob. licensed to the nonAdobe account now) while another new book I downloaded to test opens fine on ADE but NOOK says "user not activated".It seems like my NOOK doesn't recognize that I am back in the old Adobe account... and I don't know how to reactivate that. Please help me, I am unable to read new things on my NOOK now, severely frustrated and running out of ideas how to fix it.
Connection Error Detected Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment serverI keep getting this when i try to access my library resources. it's not the library because I actually have another account completely unrelated to the library accounts that is giving the same message.I am connected to the internet or would not be able to post this. I have unauthorized, uninstalled (completely down to the registry) ADE from my computer then reinstalled and reauthorized ADE and still get the same message. I have tried every fix "support" has given me and bee shrugged off with the same answer over and over again. I tried the chat and been shrugged off here.Despite suggestions from your support people there is nothing wrong with me or my computer. There is something horribly wrong with Adobe - a company that can't seem to create a single software without adding their own bit of apathetic corporate sadism into the programming.1. After deleting my original version of ADE (2012), I downloaded the newest version of it-ADE4.5.2. I logged into my OMNI library account and picked a book. When I go to 'download epub ebook', I get a box in ADE that states 'Error! Check activation'. I've tried to erase my current activation but cannot find or remember the correct password to erase it (I've tried many different passwords--none work). How do I find what that password is? Am I on the right track to try and erase, then reauthorize my computer? Currently, the 'authorize computer' is grayed out in ADE. I've been trying to resolve this for a week and a half, but no one seems to know what to do.
I am trying to download an ebook from Netgalley, and I have Adobe Digital Editions installed, but when I try to open the book, it tells me "Error! Check Activation". I am logged into Adobe Digital Editions and it's authorized to my computer. Why won't it work.
I had to reinstall the Adobe Reader (now Adobe Digital Editions to my home computer. The book will open in the library and when I plug in my Nook Color, it will open there as long as it is plugged into my home computer but when I try to open it by itself, it tells me I get the message that I am not authorized. Please help>
Borrowed a book from OpenLibrary.org -- it's titled Longfellow Genealogy by Russel C. Farnham. Two version are available - a low res and a high res. The Low res loads fine but has a lot of glyph errors in it. The high res version loads as blank pages -- the text is there you can select it but it is not visible -- white on white background. The Info for the file reads "unsupported PDF feature". The same thing happens on my Windows 7 as on on Mac OSX 10.6.8 machine, both running latest version of Digital Editions. I read in one older post that the unsupported PDF feature can be due to using a font DE does not have -- Is this the same thing as using an embedded font? This is most frustrating because I can see the text is there, but I can't read it because it is white. Is there any way to find out what font it is looking for and/or authorize a substitution (assuming that is the problem).
I was having trouble with ADE as it would not accept downloads to my NOOK of books hat I had purchased from KOBO. When I checked my installed programmes I found 2 versions of ADE - one version 3.00 and the other version 4.5.I uninstalled version 3 and then downloaded it again. This was the only version available from the download page. The icon did not appear on my desktop and I want it there. Contacted Adobe support and got nowhere. Transferred from one agent to another until I got dizzy. No-one wanted to help, no-one answered my questions, no-one told me whether or not version 3 was the latest, or what happened to version 4.5. All of the so-called experts kept telling me that 'they were not trained in answering these questions'. So my questions are, 1) Is version 3 the latest? How do I get the icon on my desktop? Relatively simple questions for a customer support team - but no-one knew the answers. Can anyone help me?
I've deleted the account that originally created the authorization for Digital Editions, but it requires me to sign in with the account to delete the authorization, but the account doesnt exist anymore, and even deleting the app and reinstalling doesn't get rid of the authorization.UghI/m on a macbook air running macOS 10.12.1 and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.2

I want to transfer a book downloaded ontp my PC to my Galaxy Tab A. My PC can see the Galaxy, but ADE can't. However, ADE can see my NOOK when I attach that. My Galaxy is Authorized and I have been able to download books OK in the past. I have reinstalled ADE, check sync is enabled and shut down and restarted everything several times. Any one have any ideas, please?

After all this frustration I we t to my libray to see if they could help me and find that they are tweaking their Ebook library and that is what is causing all the problems I am having so hopefully I can get this to work on the 8th when they told me the reorganization will be finished.
Recently downloaded ADE 4.5.2 and when I try to open a book that I have downloaded from my library I get Error: check activation. I have seen various ways to do this but none of them mention OS 10. All talk about earlier versions? Any help greatly appreciated.

1. When I download a new book onto the NOOK, the message is always that there is a download in progress, do I wish to continue? I answer yes and can then proceed to my NEW download. What can I do to stop this message which just recently began?2. Currently am unable to download any book from my free library to the NOOK. Error message says Error on Network request. I have not been able to download an epub book to my Nook Glowlight Plus since November 30. I've tried everything I can think of: rebooting my eReader, uninstalling/reinstalling ADE 2.0.1, unregistering my ereader/reregistering, and still am not able to download. Barnes & Noble does not know what the issue is and there are a lot of other people having the same issue. Please advise how to correct this issue.
I did a fixed layout export directly from InDesign when I look at the file in Ibooks the book looks fine, ( first screenshot) but when I look at it in ADE I see the second screenshot. When I check the file in EpubCheck 3.0 I get warnings about font not being decrypted. Any help here as I have an irate client.thx R

Vi ringrazio in ogni caso.
