@ !Elke keer dat ik de boekenplank open verschijnen er boeken (soms wel 30 stuks) die ik niet geïmporteerd heb. De boekomslagen zijn blauw en hebben een band met "NEW" in donkerblauw.  Als ik ze van de boekenplank verwijder dan komen ze even later weer terug. Het schijnt iets te maken hebben met bestandstypen en besturingssysteem, maar wat en hoe?

I was out of the house for several days due to a house fire.  I downloaded ADE onto my windows tablet and tried to download a book from my library.  I forgot my password and tried authorizing the tablet without an id.  I then attempted to download a book from my library.  The .ascm file downloads, but won't fulfill.  Getting an error "Unable to download.....E-ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR".  The ADE crashes.Now I'm back home and on my desktop..  Had trouble logging on and removed ADE including registry.  Re-installed ADE with a different ID, and couldn't get the book to download as (obviously) it was out to another user.   Tried going to my user account and changing email back to original , but changes wouldn't save. Is there any way to get the first error cleared on my tablet so at least I could read the book there, and then also make changes to my account on the desktop.

I can't download books to adobe digital editions. It keeps going to adobe reader.

Hello,I've downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to be able to download .acsm files and to export them as PDFs. When I initially installed the program I did authorized the computer without an Adobe ID, but am now realizing that I need to associate it with an ID to be able to share the PDFs on other devices.When I go to Help -> Authorize Computer and enter my personal Adobe ID, I get a message that says "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again."When I click "Create an Adobe ID" (to make a new account specific to my work computer), it takes me to a webpage that just says "Your account has been created." with no indication of what account it is reference to and no other options. How do I get around these two issues?

Hi,I bought EPUB 2 years ago and downloaded it without Adobe ID. The machine I did it on is now gone. I created and Adobe ID bought new books and downloaded them perfectly fine. Now I wanted  my old books but when downloading them I get E_LIC_ALREADY FULFILLED BY ANOTHER USER ERROR. Bookstore did change the token for me but it did not help. Same error. How can I get old books back to the new ID?Thanks!

I have de-authorized and reauthorized my nook Simple Touch, verified my Adobe ID at Adobe.com, and verified my ID at my library.  I am still getting the error message "user not activiated" on my nook.  I have used Digital Editions to download library books for 4-5 years and since the Overdrive update, cannot download books anymore.  Can someone help?  Thanx!

My problem is this...Every time, and I mean every time, I return a library book through my Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 it crashes. I must then restart the application and then remove the file as (thankfully) the book has registered that it is returned, but is still there in my list.Now this isn't anything that can't be worked around however I am a voracious reader and can go through ten books in a week, so having to do this open, return, crash, reopen, remove ten times every week is extremely annoying and time consuming, as it takes longer to reload after a crash. I couldn't find any similar situations already on this forum and phone support is not available for this product so. Any ideas? I must say that having a program crash every time a book is returned is highly unprofessional and extremely frustrating for the consumer.

I am trying to open a document I downloaded to my iPad using the Bluefire Reader and it is asking for my AdobeID and password.  I am able to access this forum with my AdobeID and password, but I get an error message when I try to open a document using Bluefire saying "The ID your entered was not found or the password was incorrect."  I have tried reentering the account address and password several times and I get the same error message every time.I was going to try changing my account password but the avatar does not give me that option and I don't know how to reach an administrator to change my password.

I am trying to move a Digital Editions document from my Mac to my iPad. According to the online instructions, I am supposed to connect my iPad to my iMac via a USB cable and then load Digital Editions, at which point I am supposed to see a Devices section on the left panel of Digital Editions.  I am able to read the document on my iMac.I have closed out Digital Editions and connected my iPad to the iMac with a USB cable.iTunes on the Mac recognizes the iPad (IOS 9.3.5) and syncs with it.However when I launch ADE, I do not see "Devlces" in the panel on the left.So there is no way I can drag my ADE document to my iPad.How can I solve this problem?

I recently went for Windows 7 to Windows 10, and reinstall all my software, including Adobe Digital Editions. Since that, I am unable to transfer epub from Adobe Digital Editions to my KOBO device and it seems to be because my PC has not been autorise. The problem is that when I try to autorise my PC, I receive the following message : "Vous pouvez accorder une autorisation à cet ordinateur à condition de ne pas utiliser un ID adobe déjà alloué à un autre ordinateur ou périphérique mobile". A translation of this message would be : "You can only get a permission for this PC if you use a ID Abobe that is not already used wiith another PC or mobile device". Can someone help me? Thank-you!

I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions recently and opened a document without authorizing my pc with my adobe IDI wanted to share the document across devices, but was not able to, due to the registration of the file to my PC (i.e. because it wasn't synchronized to my Adobe ID)I went on the online chat facility for help, and the Support person has lead me to lose all access to the file I wanted to share between devices.So position i'm in:I have a document authorised to my PC, but with no Adobe ID etc.I can't access the document, as I de-authorised my PC to register with my Adobe IDQuestion: Is there anything that I can do to recover the file / re-gain access?Note: Re-purchasing the file is not an option due to cost (a textbook)Not a happy user of Adobe Digital Editions - especially the terrible customer services via online chatMatt (UK)

I am unable to download kobo books to ADE03.0 I was using ADE 4.5 ok until I tried to download from KOBO. KOBO told me I needed ADE 3.0. I downloaded ADE 3.0 but that doesn't work either. I uninstalled ADE 4.5.  ADE 3.0 tells me that my computer is authorised. However  I still cannot transfer kobo files. ADE 3.0 refers to an activation problem. Can anyone help?

hi,im trying to access the books downloaded on my laptop using adobe digital, to read on my ipad using blue fire reader but i get the error that the book has been downloaded using a different ID and wont open on my Ipadi only have one IDi tried the chat service on adobe which is horrible, after keeping me on hold and switching from person to person, instead of explaining the issue, he saidvisit the forum and check therehow can i also issue a complain against this person ? they should really be explained to about customer service

no error displayed  I had to reinstall ADE on new PC I was able to download an lending library ebook to ADE but cannot transfer it to my Nook I am thinking I need to activate-is that right?  if so who is the vendor ID and password it is asking for?

Using Photoshop Elements 9, OS, Windows 7. When I assign a tag to a photo it doesn,t save automatically, I have to leave photoshop after every tag to save it. If I tag a bunch of photos it won't save the tag. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have recently replaced my laptop and now I cannot access a book I purchased which is viewed through the above program. The program is asking for a Vendor ID and password. I have no idea where this is acquired from. Can anyone help? The help chat on Adobe has not been helpful

I purchased a digital book to which I need a Adobe Digital Editions program. I received a link from the book dealer to download the program, but when on Adobe's page I was "signed out" even before I had the chance to download anything: "Your request could not be completed because you have been signed out."I assume that it would not be necessary to be signed in order to download the 22 Mb program. Available for all as such? Instead I was sent to index page with the note "Sorry, page don't exists" or such. Same happened when I DID sign in. Cannot read my book nor can I download the necessary program do to some hickup. I am using Overdrive connected to two different libraries. When I download a book from either source, the download appears to finish but the progress screen never closes. The application does not respond so I have to force quit. When I next start the application, the book appears to be there, but won't download to my ereader and won't open on my computer. Again the application hangs.  Very frustrating.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Erasing and reauthorizing, but nothing helps.  Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've reinstalled ADE after a PC breakdown, downloaded my e-books and imported them to ADE.During the next half hour ADE continue to copy some of my books, up to 4-5 copies.These copies I delete from within ADE, and delete them in the ADE library as well.I deselect the *automatically download your synced books...' preference option.Close ADE and relaunch program.On relauncing, ADE continues to copy the same books.In sub library 'Annotations' I delete the copied book titles, but now ADE won't close down.Job handler always handles programs.On re-relaunch ADE have copied the books and also registered the copies in Annotations.Where is the instruction to copy these items stored?

I am using ADE 3.0 and after resetting my password I am able to logon to the website using my adobe ID and password. Unfortunately, I get the following error when logging onto adobe digital editions using the same logon credentials to authorise my adobe digital editions: Authentication Server error, code: E_AUTH_NOT_READYdigital editions encountered an error on the activation serverPlease help
