Digital Editions

I'm providing a screen shot to demonstrate precisely what I look at when I use Adobe Digital Editions, the window here maximized, and the text impossible to read.If I re-size the ADE window to an arbitrarily correct dimension--for example 1151x716--the text is clear.It is like this for every file.  (As though it were reading images rather than text.)Any other experiences of this nature?  Any Solutions?  Or should I switch to another reader?

Since my recent Windows 10 crash and reboot, ADE won't load my (large) library of Epub books or read any new ones. I've tried trashing and reinstalling the program; no dice. As of right now, ADE is 100% useless.

I have a newer Mac with M1 chip and OS 13 Ventura. I want to install Digital Editions to on my Mac to download books from my local library to transfer to my Nook eReader. Will newest version of ADE install and work on my Mac?

I want to change the standart directory "C:\Users\...\Documents\My Digital Editions" for the library to a custom one. Is it possible?

Adobe digital editions on my PC won't download epub versions from the new library site called Libby.  The files come in to the folder with .acsm extension.  Not sure how to resolve this issue.

Hello, I'm new to this forum. Would appreciate help to fix the following:I need to install Adobe Digital Editions onto to my Samsung sm t510 tablet so I can read my new e-book.But after downloading Adobe Digital Editions, the only installation option I am given is my old samsung GT 19195 mobile i don't use and which never had ADB on it and is switched off. Certainly the Samsung sm t510 tablet does appear in the choose device list but it is shadowed and pale and so I cannot select it. How do I change the install default to my Samsung sm t510 tablet? He hecho todos los pasos de la instalación de Adober digital editions, versión 4.0, tengo la autorización, conecto el kindle al PC, luego abro el A.D.E.pero mi kindle no aparece en el lado izquierdo de la pantalla para poder transferir el archivo. Alguien me puede ayudar? Gracias

Hi,  I've paid for a bunch of textbooks. The third party cites - like Cambridge publishing etc - tell me to download Adobe Digital Editions. When I try open the ePub files or whatever format the books are in, Digital Editions comes up with the error message 'Unable to Download. Error Getting Licence. License Server Communication Problem'  I tried calling customer support. A useless man forwarded me to someone in a photography department who didn't know anything about Digital Editions. I tried the chatbox, and the human assistant said Digital Editions wasn't their forte. Adobe sucks.  When I've googled, it says to authorise myself. Seemingly, there is an old email associated with my Digital Editions. I can't 'unauthorise' it, because I don't know my Vendor ID, whatever that is.  I just need to be able to read the textbooks I've paid for.     

Hi! I would like to change the authorised device linked with my account regarding Adobe Digital Editions.It says that I cannot log in and I have recently bought a different laptop on which I would like to use it.

Everytime I import a book to ADE a pop up window says: Fulfilling ... *book title* (downloading content) but Digital Editions window won't finish nor close. Only way is to force quit ADE. - The book is then in my ADE folder, and I have to lauch ADE again to start next procedure... you're program sucks. Can you fix it asap pls?

Hallo ,Hoe / waar kan ik zien welke computers/ apparaten verbonden zijn met mijn Adobe ID . Ik krijg de melding dat mijn maximum aantal apparaten ( 6 ) bereikt zijn. Ik gebruik enkel mijn pc ( Mac ) met het programma Adobe digital editions 4.5 en een E reader ( voor het offline lezen van mijn geleende ( via de bib ) E books.  

I just got ADE in order to get library books for  my Kindle. I can't open ACSM files (which the library books download as) in Calibre so I got ADE but my Kindle isn't showing up as a device. I tried to contact the Adobe chat help but they won't answer my question and said an expert WILL help me here so hopefully someone else knows what's up. I see that none of the times folks have asked about Kindle have been answered.

Hi. Do you stil support Androidi devices? Are there any known problems with Samsung devices? I can't download/instal ADE on my tablet - Andorid 13. I'd like to open *.ascm file... Regards, Saso

When I open Digital Editions I get a blank white screen with File, Edit, Reading, Help shown as tabs. Sub menus do come up. When I load a book from my library it doesn't show up but does load into my Digital Editions folder.

Saludos: A ver si me pueden ayudar. He comprado un epub en Casa del Libro y he descargado el ADE para descargarlo en Adobe y poder pasarlo a un e-reader. Le he dado autorización a mi PC sin problemas, peor cada vez que le doy a uno de los libros de mi biblioteca de Casa del Libro descargar en Adobe, el link que envían lo que hace es descargar nuevamente el ADE. Les pregun to y me dicen repita lop mimso que vengo haciendo con el mismo resultado. Hallo, ich brauche Hilfe mit meiner Adobe ID. Es geht die Computer Autorisierung mit der Adobe ID und der Verbindung mit meinem Tolino. Ich vermute, dass ich mit der Autorisierung ein Problem habe, weil mein letzter Computer, der irreparabel kaputt ist, autorisiert wurde mit meiner Adobe ID und das System das nicht weiss und nun meinen neuen Computer nicht mit derselben Adobe ID verbinden will. Ich habe keine Produkte aktiv. Aber ein Konto habe ich und ich kann mich auch einloggen. Sowohl beim Computer als auch beim Tolino kommt folgende Fehlermeldung, wenn ich sie autorisieren will: Sie können diesen Computer nicht mit einer Adobe ID autorisieren, die zuvor verwendet wurde, um andere Computer oder Mobilgeräte zu autorisieren. Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich bin langsam am Verzweifeln, dies ist mein letzter Versuch.

Ik gebruik Adobe Digital Editions versie 4.5.11.187303 en als ik een boek heb geopend en ik wil naar de volgende bladzijde met Page Up en terug met Page Down, dan werkt de paginanummering wel maar de pagina in het scherm blijft hetzelfde.Ik zou graag de Page Up en Page Down-toetsen willen gebruiken.Kan iemand mij hiermee helpen?Alvast bedankt.

I bought an ebook that I would like to read on my old Sony PRS-T2. I have downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Editions, but my ereader doesn't show as a device.I've read about this and online see the suggestion that I should connect ADE and my reader via Sony Libraries.However, Sony stopped supporting this service since January 2023 so I am unable to make use of Sony Libraries. Does anyone has a suggestion on houw to get this ebook onto my ereader?

My institution has a problem using adobe digital editions to open ebooks from proquest. This message appears "Connection Error Detected Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" we already deauthorize, unistall and install a previous version but the issue persist. How can we fix it?

Hi! My father gaves to my son an old Sony reader (PRS-650).  Il tried to onnect it to my adobe editions reader, but it doesn't appear like my kobo does.  I don't know what to do for transfert books in it??Thank you for your answers!!!!

If I load an Epub in ADE, it should display the toc in the Navigation on the left. However, I recently got an epub for which ADE doesn't display this. Navigation stays blanc/empty. The epub does have a Table of Contents, which is displayed on its own pages. This is the only epub in my library with this issue. So, where does ADE get the toc from that is displayed in the Navigation-window? With Sigil I can see that the epub does have a toc, as any other epub in my library. But for one reason or another it doesn't "see" it or it skips it.
