Digital Editions

I am unable to open a ebook I just downloaded from the Library.  It says, "This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorize for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign-in with the authorize Adobe ID and try again. www. kobo.com/help."    I checked my PC and I am still authorized.   Where do I go from here?[Moved out of the Lounge and into a product specific, support forum - moderator]

Suddenly, and for no apparent reason, Adobe Digital Editions won't download .ACSM files from my library. When I drag files into Digital Editions, I get the following error message:Unable to downloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E AUTH BAD DEVICE KEY OR PKCS12Can anyone shed light on this? Kind thanks for your help.BrooksWin 7 Professional x64, SP1

I can open the book but when I scroll it gets stuck on page 2 but continues to scroll through the book.  There is NO online support for this product because it is free and that makes sense.  I have looked on the forums and the only support people are getting is from other confused people who may or may not have a real fix.  I doubt anyone from Adobe will see this and I hope someone from 2022 can help me.  

I have recently downloaded ADE again, which seemed to go fine.I can open the application just fine.However, when I download a .acsm file, I get the pop up which starts the installment again...So I'm not able to download anything at the moment.Please help! Thank you!

Hello. I have a kobe clara ereader. I bought I new book last week and when I tried to find it I realized that I couldn't see it. Trying to find the book and following all the proposed steps I lost all the books. I even made factory reset. I didn't have any result. So I bought a new reader. I cannot transef any book. What do I do wrong? I bought again Kobo Clara, so I know the right procedure. Is it something wrong with ADE? Please help me (I don't get any messages. After transfering the book I open it and I see that it is still empty)

Can anyone tell me how to get Adobe Digital Editions reader to actually work? I have downloaded it, the book is there, and it opens at a random page and jsut sits there. Clicking on the contents page or the page arrows makes no difference. The adobe web help is dire, so I googled for info and saw the suggestion to uninstall and reinstall in another folder, which i have done. This has not helped. I'm on Windows 7 - is that the problem? The download page does not differentiate versions of WindowsThanks

I downloaded books on my IPad in the adobe Digital Ediotion App and they are not loading all the way. The pages are blank and I not sure how to fix this.

I have access to my account online with my password, but cannot use the same password in Adebo Digital Editions.

I had a free Adobe Digital Editions account on my computer, authorized by an emailaddress the no longer excists. I cannot change my authorisation because I do not know my password anymore and there is no possibility to ask for the password. Should that be there the link to change a password would be sent to my old emailacoount.I downloaded a new free ADE version with a my new emailaddress and a new password. In spite of a the dowloaded version with my new account the authorisation still is with my old emailaddress. I checked by Google for solutions, twice had an online chat conversation with the Adobe helpdesk, had a telephone call with Adobe Helpdeske Amsterdam.No one can help me. The problem is that books downloaded from my city library do not appear in the new downloaded ADE version because of the wrong authorisation emailaddress.Can someone help me out? Hallo, I receive the above error message. I have checked the setting for time and zone and they are correct. Of all the e-books I purchased, I could only restore 4, which I bought from the same provider (FNAC). How do I get all my other e-books in the library?! Tks, your help is really appreciated, my usual IT guy (my husband) cannot help with that!

Hola! What happens is that you buy an e-book and download them through the adobe digital edition app for android. I can open the e-book normally on my cell phone, but I can't get it to work on my PC. Somebody help me?

Just bought and downloaded an ebook through Kobo, which gave me an acsm file for fulfillment.  I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 for Windows, (via https://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html) and installed it.  When it first asked me to authorize my computer, I tried to authorize it without login, but it threw errors, so used my actual Adobe ID, (i.e. the one I'm posting with right now) and tried authorizing with that, and each time I try, I get "Activation Server error""code : E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate 2022-06-28T15:37:20...." Any ideas?
