Digital Editions

I'm using Digital Editions on Windows 11 with a text book. The app is almost entirely unusable. I have it on my iPad but can't use it at the same time as GoodNotes due to the publisher restrictions. I works fine there but when I added the text book to the Windows app, it became unusable. I only loaded 2-3 pages. You are unable to switch though pages with the same method each time (sometimes I can use arrows, sometimes I can use the trackpad, sometimes I can use the scroll bar). It also seems ridiculous that Adobe would release a product that wouldn't allow you to call or chat in for support. You can only get support through the community discussion. How can I get help with these problems?

Hola!!!!tengo desde hace mucho tiempo una cuenta en Adobe Digital Editions,pero tuve que cambiar el disco duro del portátil y aunque sigo teniendo instalado Adobe Digital Editions lo cierto es que los 3 libros que tengo comprados no puedo abrirlos ni leerlos ya que no me acuerdo de mi ID de cuando creé cuenta de Adobe Digital Editions ni de la correspondiente contraseña asociada.¿Cómo puedo hacerlo para volverlos a abrir y leer,puesto que los compré?

does anyone know why ADE does not work? can open a epub book but then the pages won't go on to the next page, page number move when you go to next page but not the page.

Guten Tag Ich wollte Ebooks herunter laden. Das deutsche Buch hat funktioniert, das englische Buch kann ich nicht öffnen. Alles genau gleich, Verkäufer, ebook, adobe ... Weder der Anbieter noch Adobe kann mir helfen. Der Anbieter verweist auf Adobe und diese melden, dass sie dieses Programm nicht mehr unterstützen?! kennt Ihr das Problem?

Unable to open ADE 4.5.11 version in windows 10 home as I was trying to open epub file. Please help. I have uninstalled and reinstall file and remove adept folder also. Please suggest.

Hallo,ich habe ein Buch im acsm Format gekauft. Zwar kann ich es mit Adobe Digital Editions öffnen, jedoch wird nur die erste Seite dargestellt. Wenn ich zu anderen Seiten scrollen will, friert das Bild ein, bzw. werden weiße Seiten angezeigt, obwohl sich der Balken bewegen lässt. Ähnlich verhält es sich, wenn ich über das Inhaltsverzeichnis zu einem Kapitel springe: erste Seite des Kapitels wird angezeigt, danach kann ich aber nichts mehr machen.  Für Hilfe wär ich sehr dankbar!VG, Fabian

We sell an ebook through Editiond Guard and ADE is the only reader we can use.  We are receiving massive complaints from customers and when we try to access our own books, old or new, they are full of errors like blank pages and unreadable text.  Help!

I have repeatedly authorized my computer, deleted digital editions (including regedit), and opened my Adobe account.  However, when I try to download books from my public library or delete books, I receive an error message that says my computer is not authorized.  I know my username and password are correct.  I'm running Windows 8.1 fully patched and DE was working fine until approximately one week ago.  Any suggestions as to how to repair this error?

Simply put: I can't authorize my computer because the Adobe account I just created for this specific purpose, doesn't seem to work.I'm certain that the password is correct, so I simply don't understand why it doesn't work.Any advide?

Hi there, I got my ebook reader into repair and they did a full reset. So I tried to activate my Adobe ID on the reader but got the „ max device error“. As a found no clear path to get a list of all my registered devices or a way to deactivate all my devices, I reached out to you on twitter (@adobecare). They sent me to this forum, to post my problem here. So is there a way to get a list of all my associated devices or to deactivate all devices in self service? If not, how can I reach out to the Adobe service? I did not find any type of emailadress or support form on the homepage. 

On June 15, 2022, the Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application ended support on Windows 10. If I don't have Internet Explorer installed, external links don't work for me. How can I solve this problem?

I cannot read my books. I get the message that my ereader is not authorized. Using ADE to authorize it I get the message: limit of Number of machines allowed per ID Reached. I don't use another computer, and I have only one reader. What went wrong. Please help me.

I downloaded my e-book on Kindle and Kobo application on my Android. Can you tell me if I can copy them in Adobe Digital Digital ? Thank you for your help

I got a new computer that is running windows 11. I installed ADE 4.5 but for some reason when I transfer the books to my Nook I get and error message about loan not working .  After unsuccessful visits to Barnes and Noble, my library and online chat with Adobe to fix the problem, I booted up my old computer which has ADE 3.0 and used that to load my Nook.  Worked fine. Is there a way to copy ADE 3.0 from my old computer to my new?  Will 3.0 run in windows 11?  I looked for a download of ADE 3.0 but couldn't find it.

Using ADE for the first time to convert an EPUB with DRM. Everything works until I get an error message one minute after the conversion: file impossible to open, there are problems in this element. Already uninstalled and reinstalled, deauthorised and reauthorised. Do you think that the problem is in the file?

Me he comprado un nuevo ordenador, en el antiguo lo tengo y funciona perfectamente.Al instalarlo en el nuevo, permite descargas de documentos pero no puedo pasarlo a Ebook y veo que para hacer esto tengo que poner el ID que tengo así como contarseña. La contraseña la volví a pedir de nuevo.Cuando cumplimento los campos indicados, me sale el siguiente mensaje ID O CONTRASEÑA INCORRECTOS PARA PROVEEDOR. REINTÉNTELO.El nuevo ordenador funciona con WINDOWS 11, el anterior con la versión 10.

I am unable to open a ebook I just downloaded from the Library.  It says, "This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorize for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign-in with the authorize Adobe ID and try again. www. kobo.com/help."    I checked my PC and I am still authorized.   Where do I go from here?[Moved out of the Lounge and into a product specific, support forum - moderator]

Suddenly, and for no apparent reason, Adobe Digital Editions won't download .ACSM files from my library. When I drag files into Digital Editions, I get the following error message:Unable to downloadError getting License. I can open the book but when I scroll it gets stuck on page 2 but continues to scroll through the book.  There is NO online support for this product because it is free and that makes sense.  I have looked on the forums and the only support people are getting is from other confused people who may or may not have a real fix.  I doubt anyone from Adobe will see this and I hope someone from 2022 can help me.  

I have recently downloaded ADE again, which seemed to go fine.I can open the application just fine.However, when I download a .acsm file, I get the pop up which starts the installment again...So I'm not able to download anything at the moment.Please help! Thank you!

Hello. I have a kobe clara ereader. I bought I new book last week and when I tried to find it I realized that I couldn't see it. Trying to find the book and following all the proposed steps I lost all the books. I even made factory reset. I didn't have any result. So I bought a new reader. I cannot transef any book. What do I do wrong? I bought again Kobo Clara, so I know the right procedure. Is it something wrong with ADE? Please help me (I don't get any messages. After transfering the book I open it and I see that it is still empty)
