I need to create 20 screws at different lengths. Since the base is flat, I thought I might be able to mask the object in Dimensions with a cylinder like this:   Is this possible in Dimension, and if so, how? Or should I just model each individual screw separately?

Hi. I opened an existing file with a text object that said "Carpet". I can't edit the type at all. The area that would have options to change the word, and other text based tools are gone. I also opened a new file to test the text tool. When I used the text tool, again I had no way to edit the default "Lorem.." copy. Nothing works. Please help.

I would like to import my 3D assets that I created in Dimensions (obj. file) to a platform for a seamless UX that does not require the user to open another application, like Aero. I would love to be able to have the user scan a designated icon that would automatically open the AR experience. Has anyone had experience with this?Thx!

Hi there!What puzzles me most in regard of all this »3D-thing«:Why is there no way to have my Dimension artwork cloud-rendered?!My current setting, with some »neon effects« and so on, is estimated to take some 30 hours when rendered with high quality locally. That’s ridiculous.Thanks anyway! 

I have successfully created my first mockup and would now like to simply replace the model file (print file) without repositioning it.Is this possible? I have to create about 100 different variants with different print files for this mockup. I would hate to have to reposition the file each time.Thank you very much 🙂

I installed Dimension yesterday for the first time and was able to use it without any problems. Now I can neither open yesterday's project nor a new project.As soon as I want to open a new project, the loading symbol appears and that's it.My system:Nvidia 3080Ti12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K 3.20 GHz32 GB RamWin 10Does anyone know a fix?

I created 3D models in illustrator and have rendered them in glass in Dimension. I have used white planes on the vertical and horizontal axis and added the bottle model on top of this.I am getting jagged lines in the model- please see image. Is there something I could be doing wrong? Thanks for your help - new to dimension!

I'm constantly getting decal distortion when placing labels (ususally on flat/round objects) in Adobe Dimension. Would love a solution if anyone has one. See screenshots. Thanks! 

I can't seem to get Adobe Dimension to start up. I keep getting a "System Requirements Check" message saying I don't meet the Open GL requirements. Except I've checked and I do meet the requirements. I'm running a Mac Mini with OS X version 15.4 (most recent update.) I do have an external GPU, but both it and my computer's internal graphics card should be able to support OpenGL 4.5. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? My roommate is running it just fine on an older iMac with inferior specs and has even used my same eGPU to speed up render times. Anyone else run into this issue or have any idea how to fix it?

Hi I created a scene in Dimension and now I need to change color but it is stuck at 90%.. Is there an easy fix or do I need to start all over again. It's frustrating it's been doing this a lot lately and I always get the same error message while saving and am never able to open back my renderings. I don't want to redo the whole thing but I need to get this project done no matter what. Thanks,S

If I want to place stickers (*ai or *jpg) on round plates (models imported from *.obj), several identical square sections from original image are patched together as a repetition to a mosaic.What am I doing wrong again?RegardsDierk

Bonjour, Je souhaite exporter une scène 3D depuis Dimension. Tout se passe correctement mise à part la décalcomanie d'un écran qui est complètement floue dans la scène 3D exportée, alors qu'elle ne l'est pas dans Dimension.  Avez-vous une idée pour régler ce problème ? Par avance, merci.

I am hereby asking that Adobe be able to integrate the SpaceMouse 3Dconnexion with Adobe Dimension, as this mouse helps a lot in manipulating 3D software such as Dimension. I have a mouse that I can't use, and when I contacted the 3D Connexion company they informed me that Adobe needs to integrate the mouse's API SDK with the Dimension application, just as it works in ACROBAT, PHOTOSHOP and SUBSTANCE, can also work in DIMENSION. PLEASE do this update, I beg you. VersionMacBookPro : OS VENTURASpaceMouse 3DConnexion WirelessADobe Dimension : 3.4.11 

Good Day. i have been able to create public links in the past, however now, i everytime i try to share a scene and i hit the "create public link" button, the upload bar comes up but nothing happens. Can somebody please help!

     Hi, I keep on getting the attached error when opening Adobe Dimensions, and I believe I do have the correct system requirements. Any ideas why I am getting this error, or what I can do to resolve? 

Hey guys, For the longest time, I've wanted to be able to do a simple embossing on mockups, however, adobe dimension doesn't support that feature natively. Yes, there's a workaround but I don't think it's good enough. I know moderators are keeping an eye on the forum, so I'm sure they'd appreciate us seeking a solution to this is a prominent drawback. I found a website that offers this feature, although it has some limitations. I think it's worth your time.https://provisual.app/ I've lost hope on seeing any updates for Dimension. So yeah, enjoy using Pro Visual.

Hallo Zusammen, ich rendere regelmäßig Bilder mit weißem Hintergrund in PSD-Format.Leider hab ich dann immer irgendwelche komischen Kanten, die ich in Photoshop nachbessern muss, was nicht immer so super geht. Wie kann ich das umgehen? Wieso passiert dieser Render-Fehler dauernd? Anbei Bilder. Es ist ein Würfel mit Material + Foto darauf auf Transparentem/weißem Hintergrund ohne Schatten.

I need advice on how to place graphics on the perimeter of a simple square, for example 20x30 cm, 10 cm high. When I create a 100x10 cm graphic and place it on a square, I can't place it around the entire perimeter, it always only fits over 2 sides. I can't figure out the best way to place it at some beginning of the coordinates, from where it would wrap the entire square around.
