Dimension

When I select the text as a basic shape it does not immediately appear on the screen, like it used to.  There is the icon to rotate, scale and move as always but nothing else.  I can see the text object in the enviroment window and when selected get very limited options in the properties window.  The change font and bevel options have dissappeared.  I can effect the scale and change the text in the text box but does not appear on the screen.  If after selecting the text box I drop in another object the text box stays and becomes part of that objects properties.  This never used to happen, just started after I did an update, I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall but get the same thing.  Can someone please help?

Hello everyone, I hope someone has some insight to my issue. I need to render a large image, and no matter what I do, the render always comes out at 1024x768 px (which is the dimensions default). My canvas is set at 10000px x 5000px at 600dpi.  When I go to open in Photoshop no matter what, the canvas size of my rendering is stuck at 1024x768 px. The dpi is correct at 600, but the image is tiny. I've updated my version of Dimension to the latest version, thinking it was a bug, but no luck. Has anyone else had these issue? Dimension V3.4.8 not subport .glb modelhave problem for .glb model

I really don't know what to do anymore. I can't work any longer on my project because it wont save... As you can see, the textures from the umberella is not loaded/saved.However, it seems to be there anyway, since it is displayed to me in Dimension.Got anyone a similar problem? I would be really grateful for help.

HI! not sure why scaling material stopped working. I have the latest update and am using macbook pro MacOS Montrey version 12.6.3 (21G419) 

This problem really started with the last update on March 11 2023. Adobe Dimension will crash every time I open some files, but not when I open others. Periodically it will crash no matter what file I am using. After I save a file and try to open it, it will load but I will not have access to the elements and only see a blank screen. The whole program then freezes and I have to end task in task manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Dear Adobe Customer Support, I am writing to seek further assistance with a technical issue I have been experiencing in Adobe Dimension. I have tried various troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately, none of them have resolved the issue.The problem I am facing is that I am unable to open the file that I submitted. Whenever I try to open it, I receive an error message that says, "a problem caused the application to stop working correctly." Additionally, I have been unable to render the file, which I believe is related to the initial issue of not being able to open it.I kindly request your help in resolving this issue as soon as possible. 

New to all of this. I'm creating an model that looks close to what I want in Preview. When it renders it looks terrible and not what I wanted, and with a big chunk out of the front of the base.PREVIEWRENDERING

Short, previous versions worked fine.Last update crashes a lot, showing a message cant remember now.Had to roll back to the 3.4.7cant find the log, but ill luck for it.

Adobe Dimensions doesn't work properly on apple silicon devices. I'm on m2 pro chip macbook pro and I literally did every way to fix that.When first time I tried to download adobe dimensions, the cc said "It's not available on silicon chip but download the intel version so you can use on your mac". I downloaded it, and everytime I run it on the right corner there is a exclamation mark on the cloud icon saying that "Doesn't connected to cc" (The first screenshot in the attached files)The time I realized this is actually cruical thing that is missing. I can only use basic shapes, can't use any free assets inside of the app and it look not compatible. (Screenshot 2, showing the alert I get when I try to use some assets from left page) Since I'm using the dimensions app to make mockups. This totally wrecked me because I was ended up couldn't rendered my product coverings. Hello, Brand new to Dimension here, I am using it to place textile prints on soft furniture models. I have found that using decal works better than fill in that case. However, it has a very shiny, plasticky finish that looks nothing like fabric!How can I get rid of that shine, please? Thanks.

Hi,just saw, that a new Dimension updated is available and was wondering what bugs might have been exterminated. The description in the Cloud Manager just says "see version history". But I cant't seem to find one anyhere in the whole wide interwebs.Any ideas where I might find one?

I've seen a few other posts that seem similar, but they don't adequately answer this problem, unless the answer is simply that Dimensions does not do the very thing I expect it should do.In the image attached I'm trying to wrap a grid around the cups, but even though the grid wraps and curves, it doesn't curve in a way that matches the perspective of the cup. yes, the grid image being placed is perfectly horizontal and vertical. The grid curvature on the lower cup is more severe than the grid curvature on the upper cup, so clearly Dimensions sees a difference between the angle/perspective of the two cups, it just doesn't map the graphics accordingly and accurately.Am I crazy to think that if the grid image maps to the cup object, it should do so accurately?If I can map an image accurately (like below) in Illustrator, I should be able to do the same in Dimensions, no?Message was edited by: David Mikal Johnson added a second image

Hey everyone!I own a design studio the mainly creates decals for weddings on their dancefloor.Wanting to get help on how to do/create dancefloor sizes and different decal/monograms to showcase a "mock up" for the bride before proceeding.  I want to able to choose the dancefloor size, be able to import my decal designs on the dancefloor and place in human models for reference.  Is this possible ? Hi,I used Dimension last thursday, worked fine. Now today, Monday, it wouldn't open existing files or create new ones. No changes to Mac OS or updates to Dimension.Saw on CC that an update was available, so updated. Still hasn't sovled the problem.If I try to open via the file, Dimension opens but never gets past the spash screen and a spinning blue ball of death. If I open via the dock, it gets to the 'tour' spash page, but both 'open' and 'create' again just give the spinning ball.I have used CC to uninstal, Cleaner to make sure it was gone, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, same problem.Same again with installing the last version again, just in case.One thing I was suprised with, after purging it (i thought), the dock still gives me the option to open previously opend files, which I thought would have been removed on the install?I've got a deadline and 10 renders to do, typically!ThanksDimension 3.4.5 (and 3.4.3)MacBook Pro Late 20132.3GHz Quad Core Intel16GB RAMIntel graphics card

Hi, I know that actually is not possible but I'm asking if there is a way to render the scene from Dimension to a psd file keeping shadows and lights separated from the 3D objects layer.It could be useful manage separatelly the shadows from the 3d models in Photoshop.

What are best practices with placing decals on objects? Are ai files, jpegs, png best and is there a certain size they should be? I have trouble with some bluriness.  Also with models that are imported, is it possible to separate them so different colors can be added? For instance I have a strawberry, but the berry and stem are all one. I don't know how to make the stem green and the berry red.

My company sells different liquid and powder products. I'm looking for "powder" that i can add to my scenes to be poured out and/or in a scoop. Where could I find a model like that? Also are there any recommended platforms to request custom 3d models?

Hello, I am using blender and Adobe Dimension for the first time and I have an issue. I made a house shaped box object in blender and imported it in Dimension (file.obj), now when I try to place an image on the model it creates a weird distorsion at the top. (see image below) I just want the image to be on one face.Can anyone help me correct that? Thank you for your time. Rozenn

My daughter is having performance issues running Adobe Dimensions on her 2020 Macbook Pro with 16 GB Unified Memory. She is trying to convince me that buying a new Macbook with the M1 Chip will solve her problems. However reading all of the dialogue about similar issues have me concerned that this solution will work. She is an art student, so Adobe Dimensions and similar design applications are critical to her schoolwork. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I add a graphic to an object, is there a way to set a blend mode so that the texture of the object shows through? Similar to Photoshop?
