I have a 3D scene I am trying to publish. It worked flawlessly when I ran a test a few days ago. After I continued to work on the project and applied AI vector graphics to some of the objects, the "Publish 3d Scene" no longer works for me. It loads and loads, but never saves or generates a public link. I do realize this is a BETA feature, but does anyone have some suggestions on what may be causing this or how to get it to work again?
Is there an User's Guide for Adobe Dimension CC? If so, where can I find it?Thanks!
Hello Adobe community, novice user here, I hope you can help.Last night I started my annual plan for all Creative Cloud apps, however, Dimension CC installs as a trial and gives me an error message when I start the app even after I start the trial.I've tried updating the apps, the creative cloud installer (which I downloaded last night and reinstalled today), uninstalling and reinstalling Dimension CC from the app and from Chrome browser, yet it still comes up as a 7 day trial, and when I start it up it gives me an error message saying: "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application."My system is running on the latest update of macOS Mojave, and my system is as follows (with 200gb of 500gb available):MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MBUPDATE: *Facepalm* I managed to fix the trial issue by logging in and out, however, I still get the er
I designed a cabinet using Sketchup and downloaded a stock wood material texture from Adobe Stock. I applied it to the cabinet and the color and tone comes in flat by comparison to a Square Bottle model. I'm new to Dimension but like the features I see if I can get them to work. Also, Is there a way to apply a color/material to one side of a rectangle panel? I appreciate it
I am having a problem when placing my decal on a vitamin bottle, the image gets terribly distorted closer to the edges (top and bottom). There is no distortion if I place a decal very far from the edges, but than it looks weird, too much free space on the bottle. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Hi, Firstly can I just say having used dimension for a while now, what a great tool and massive time saver.I require some 3D objects specifically square berj like paint tins, I have created very simple 3D objects using illustrator and photoshop but these I am not so sure of just because of the detail on top handles etc, can anyone help or pointe in the right direction, I really need to get these sorted. Many thanks in advance, Dan
i have faced some problems with adobe dimension cc 2018 the program run perfectly, but when i choose the model and drag it to the work space in the middle i see that work space still empty and nothing happened so here is a picture for this matter, any solution for this problem and thank you .
I had fun making this today and figger it shows the different stages of rendor, preview rendor an final rendortools; Photoshop + Dimensiontime: about an hour on the model and two more for the rendor... most of it getting the glow just right
I am very lost on how to do this. For example, I'm trying to render some business cards with a graphic i've designed, but the decal is either too long or wide. Scaling the graphic or 3D model just skews the dimensions that I designed. There must be a better way to do this, right?
After upgrading recently, some objects in the scene now render black, previous to upgrading, the objects rendered fine. The objects were created in photoshop, UVs generated, and exported as OBJ files, then deleted. Will I need to recreate these objects and place them back into the scene? What a pain
Hello All,I am learning about 3D Photoshop and Dimension CC. I have created a bottle in Photoshop. I generate UVs. Not sure what that means, but I can see my label when I place it on the bottle after doing that. I have been reading through forum articles to get this far. When I try to render it, the bottle is really dark and I can't see the label. What am I doing wrong?Ken
Hi,Is it possible to create a K-seal pouch using a bespoke form created in illustratorCheersDave
This stems from case ADB-4562498-Z1X3Adobe "resolved" this issue without actually resolving. I will upload links later when I have relevant files. Here is the issue I am seeing- and it seems to create multiple issues across the rendering spectrum: Dimension does not seem to qualify the actual size of the object when applying a graphic to an OBJ. file. There are can models, which I presume are to scale, and I imported a can obj. file that I created that is perfectly to scale, however, when bringing in a png file to adhere to the can as a graphic, dimension just applies the graphic at a random size- instead to scale of the design. I set the parameters in AI to specifically scale properly when brought onto an obj file, but regardless of the scale of the object, the scale of the graphic is incorrect. Scaling the object with or without the graphic does not fix the issue. In the end, the render has sever aliasing due to resolution discrepancies when scaling the graphic to fit the object. When
Hi, I just start using Adobe Dimension CC today, and when i try to render, i got grainy output in shadow and transparent object. I am using 2017 Macbook Pro 15inch. Can someone help me out with this matter.
Anyone have any good suggestions for converting .jt files to work in Adobe Dimension?I am currently using VIS Professional and would like the ability to render some nice graphics in Dimension.I can't export from VIS as anything that Dimension can import. Any suggestions for local software to do the job?Lots of online and spam filled software available.... would like something that a person has used with good results! Thanks in advance for any input!
When I render at psd(16bit) or png from Dimension I get pretty bad color banding. I started at 300dpi and went down to 72dpi thinking it was a resolution issue, but that didn't help. Strangely in Photoshop the banding isn't really that apparent, unless I'm zoomed out past 67% or until I save it out as a jpeg. What are possible solutions?Examples above are of jpeg, and photoshop preview:Anything help appreciated, Thanks.
javascript:;Getting strange topology lines showing in the render - this file is an .obj format exported from Rhino 5.0I have tried other file formats but get the same issue.
I've downloaded an Adobe stock .obj file to find the lid is not separate from the bottle. Is it possible to edit an object to separate and save out the lid and bottle elements as individual objects ?Thanks
Before the recent upgrade, I could save a render as a PNG with a transparent background by unticking the Background check box. After upgrading, when I untick this box, the background still saves as white.Has this feature been moved or deleted?
Ok Im venturing into uncharted territory with absolutely zero experience with 3d formats. I only work with Ps, Ai, and Id. Ive been seeing 3d posts on facebook from photos and i want to take a crack at it. Basically extrude elements from an image and make them appear somewhat 3D so that i can export it to glTF 2.0 and upload it onto faceook. Is this the ap? If not, what ap would i use or what software? THanks!
Hi, I am looking the font on icon anybody knows what font is this?
Does anyone happen to create their own 3D files for use in Dimension CC?If so, which software do you currently use for this.Hoping to find an easy to use (and preferably cheap!) option.
I Dimension is it possible to set a 3D scene, shared to online viewer as 'private' rather than 'public'I like the quality of what the online 3D viewer can produce but most of the projects i work on are at the confidential stage of development so would like to be able to share privately (password protected) is this possible if so how? Thanks.
I have created in and exported from CorelDRAW 2018, this vector art: https://contattafiles.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/tnt3924/XkBax17syROXhIK/T-Shirt.png I want to place it on a 3D T-shirt OBJ: https://contattafiles.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/tnt3924/OuP8rkrQLaFxMYe/T-Shirt.obj that I have imported. Here's my Dimension CC 2019 file: https://contattafiles.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/tnt3924/iaRFxiLTx6l8omL/24FPS.dn And here's the rendered PSD file: https://contattafiles.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/tnt3924/V-iU57Ccd6BAuZl/24FPS.psd As you can see, there's no line of colours in the top of the vector art, but, there's one visible when I import the graphic in Dimension CC. It gets rendered also. I can remove it in Photoshop, but, can anyone point out why that is happening? For those who didn't get what I'm talking about, here's the annotation (the problem area is the one marked within the red bordered box): https://contattafiles.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/tnt3924/EJayPX_g71qKiQ3/Annotation.png
