Hi, I'm newish to Dreamweaver and need help.In the screen shot it has a quick link page of file types but i've lost it.How do I get this screen show.My page at the same point is blank. Many thanks if you can help  

I'm interested in hearing about suggestions for rebuilding a small non-profit website.  Did it years ago with the WebAssist tools.  I haven't been writing code for 5 years.  This is something I'm not really looking forward too, but time has come.   Looking for suggestions on what to do with my MySQL database connection as it appears those tools from Adobe have evaporated.   Brief review of current Dreamweaver made me think I might convert the real estate template into my needs.   Thanks in advance for any insight and guidance..

I am creating a website that I would like to connect to Oracle Database. Is dreamweaver compatible with Oracle? I looked under 'Model Server' settings from 'Manage Sites', there is not an option to choose oracle. There are options to choose mysql, JSB, ASP Javascript but Oracle is not listed. Is there a way aroundThanks

When previewing a responsive page in Chrome or Firefox (at least to begin with), I would like constant feedback on the browser window size (in pixels) so I can see how the page responds to resizing as well as at specific widths. Can anyone recommend browser extensions that accomplish this? (I know DW gives a Live Preview but I'd also like doublecheck how the page behaves in a regular browser.)Thanks,Sean

I have gone to Jotform and built a full page contact us page. I have the code for it, but when I drop the code in Dreamweaver 21.1,  I get nothing on the page. I'm trying to put the code in a new HTML page, I've also tried a CSS page, same results. I'm obviously doing something wrong, please help!

Please be kind enough to help me remotely connect with the MQSQL database of the Bluehost server from Dreamweaver CC in the PHP enviroment. I have been using ExtendStudio extensions for quite a number of years. I had a problem with one of the extensions in January and up to the time of writing this (end of March) I have not had anyone from their support team get back to me. I have tried through different email addresses but nothing. Now when I opened my Dreamweaver cc 2019 this morning, all the extensions have vanished! I downloaded their Extension manager but it doesn't support cc 2019. So basically I am now left with websites made using these extensions that can't be altered or updated. I have just tried to reinstall the extensions using the DMXzone extension manager but I get error messages when I try and open Dreamweaver. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can get these extensions back on cc 2019 and I'd be interested to know if anyone else has problems with Extend Studio - as I find their support system the worst I have ever come across.

All was working fine up until earlier today when I tried to upload a very minor text update to my site when I received this message.I've restarted both MAC and Dreamweaver and switched of router for a few minutes both to no avail.Once again any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Garry.

HI,I just installed on windows PC, running Windows 10 home,  Dreamweaver version 21.1 but I have a problem: the app is very very slow and it freezes.I can't write anything because any command blocks the app.Is impossiblr to work.The last version 21.0 had the same problem.Can someone help me?ThanksGiuly

In general, I would rather bypass the Welcome screen and get straight to work so my preference is set accordingly. But now and then I would like to access the Welcome screen to maybe open a template or recent file. How do I do this without setting the preference and then restarting DW?

I have DW 19.0.0.11193.I saw this video, where it's told you could use shortcuts easily: Code mit Tastenkombinationen erstellen und prüfen | Wrong.None of the shortcuts work.Ok, so I downloaded Emmet, even though in the video stated above it is not mentioned I have to download it first which gives the impression Emmet's existence in DW is understood.On the Emmet download page they say Adobe Application Manager should open the downloaded file by itself.Wrong.Application Manager says "For this Dreamweaver at least version #11 is needed. Like I said, I have #19.Guys, I can code and I thought working with DW might be a good idea. Actually this is the 2nd error I find within just the first hours of testing DW. (The other one btw is quite heavy ... regular DOM elements are not recognized in Javascript and all are marked as not defined. Wtf?I am super-annoyed.

I had a bit of a scare yesterday. All of a sudden, my older but dependable Mac Book went black without any reason.All went well, and it worked again beautifully.But it got me thinking about what to do with all my Dreamweaver work if something really happens?Can someone help me? Has the "commit image size" in the properties inspector been removed in a recent update? That was handy for resizing images that are too large right in DW and, upon hitting that button, saving it over the original. Is the only option now to open the image in PS and resizing it?

Hi there, Working on my first website with Dreamweaver CS6 and wish to create an image map with hotspots. I'm in Design mode and yet when I highlight an image to draw a hotspot area with the polygon tool I'm confronted with an empty grey box. Presumably the above with polygon and other tools bottom left is what I should see however all that I see is this > Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Garry.

I have a DW page open showing.both code and desighh.  For whatever reason, the links, which are shown in the code and are accurate accurate, are not  seen in the design, only a small blank square. What can be done to correct this?  Thank you

I have the same problem. I think having the abiity to Auto Indent the Tags while coding gives one the ability to code much faster. Most other editors provide this feature on defualt becuase it's essential. Is there anyone out there? Who can help set the DW Editor to Auto Indent your Tags. I know it can be done becuase it does it for the instructor on the DW tutorials when he presses Enter on his tags.

So it appears that my psychic powers have struck again. Once again, somethng I try and do, doesnt bloody work.  What a shock. Who knew?! Why does my Testing Server not work? Why do I get the "Hmmm… can't reach this page" Why do I get the "localhost refused to connect." message? This happens despite me doing everyting correctly, I select "Site Setup" > "Local/Network", "Server Folder" being the Root, & "Web URL" being "http://localhost/xxx/"I then click "Save" and select Testing"I really do not have time for software to behave this way, if I tell software to do something, it does it. That's what it's programmed to do, not to behave like a disobidient ill-disciplined child.  Whatcould possibly be the reason being DW deciding that, once again, it;s going to make my life difficult? 

I have designed a Contact Us page in Photoshop, a full page image, and I want to put a Contact form on it. Sure seems to me there should be a way to do that. Please see attached Contact Us page. Any help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks

Hi,Basic CSS question here.I like using<a> tags w/ image backgrounds as gallery thumbnails because of how easy it is to specify css :hover effects. However, I'm going for something a bit more complex than what I'm used to this time; and have a feeling the solution lies in css commands I'm less familiar with.There are two things I would like to see happen on :hoverThe regular-state background image goes dark & blurs, via filter: brightness(25%) blur(2px)Text (sharp) appears over the (blurred) result.As we know, the text will adopt whatever properties are applied on the container; but even if you wrap said text in <span> tags with filter:blur(0) !important applied, it won't override the parent's state (which is now dark & blurry, so the text is as well).How do I go from a clear image (ideally, a BG on an <a> tag since it will be clickable) to something like the first few seconds of this video (minus the movement).
