Go Daddy recently changed from Web Hosting Linux to  Linux Hosting with cPanel. ...Now, when I publish my updated information to their server, everything works as it always did, but the information is not updating on their end.....I called them and they cleaned the cache, but no luck....They said it's on my end somewhere....Any suggestions? I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.5....Thx 

So I'm new to dreamweaver and suddenly my style stopped working. Did i turn something on or off? it works in the body part but when i try to write it in a h or p it just comes up as text or am i just being dumb

Hello, this query is because the program is excessively slow and I do not think it is a computer problem, I also use photoshop, illustrator and indesing and they work perfectly.Dreamweaver stops every time I write in both Design view and Schedule view. Every thing I touch appears the waiting wheel or the program does not respond.Please can someone help me? I take more than an hour to make an email!Thank you

Hello -- In older versions of Adobe Suite products there were different ways to go about doing this but that now involves obsolete software.  The newer versions of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc. don't seem to offer this option or I may be wrong. I am just trying to autoplay a video fullscreen and then have a webpage launch (in the same browser) after the video finishes playing.  That's all.  Suggestions?

Just moved CS6 to new PC. Using CSS Menu Maker extension in several active web sites and need to get it installed again. CS6 Extension Manager will not load the previously-installed ZXP file because signature is said to be invalid.ZXP Installer says it isn't compatible with my installed applications.Copying over the PlugIns folder from my old PC had no visible effect. The CSS Menu Maker web site is still there, but it look as if it is a dormant company so no help from there. Grateful for advice on how to get past this licence block, or any other way to get it installed again.     

I have a PDF file linked on one of my pages and when I run the Check Links Sitewide report, it comes back as showing the PDF file as orphaned. Why is that? I checked the link manually. I clicked on the link and it works. I don't understand why it reports the file as being orphaned. The PDF file is in the same folder as the HTML file, so I don't have a path in the link to the PDF file. I searched the bulletin board to find an answer and didn't see anything posted that addressed this issue. Thank you in advance.

Hi can anyone help me? I have created a Flipbook in HTML5 in Flip PDF whcih has created the traditional tinity of  index.html page and two folders of asssets. But I can't embed them to my Wix site as it only allows hosted files from a HTTPS server (which I dont have) or HTML5/HTTPS code  only to an site created iFrame. Dreamwaever in CC opens/edits the files, but i cant find anyway to convert or export the files to the Embedded HTML iframe format. Does anyone know a work around?

I am suddenly getting -  "file" not on local disk. GET - when I open any of my local sites in dreamwearver. All the files show up in the Files Panel and  If I double click on the file names in the files panel the file WILL open. So obviously it is there. But when I click to open the asscociated link shown in the tool bar abouve the page I have open in dreamweaver, I get this error and the file will not display. Also my live view is acting wonkyHELP

Why remove my post in reference to the 'edit post' feature being disabled in the forum? I posted a legitimate reply to.......... hummm I currently forget the womans name at Adobe and next it was removed because the answer that was provided by Adobe didn't make any sense and I pointed that out, detailing the reasons why. Is that the reason the post was removed because of the exposure of a non-sensical decision taken by Adobe? Pretty weird stuff going down lately.  

Is there a way to make only "class="xxx"" in <body> tag editable in a template? Or entire <body class="dummy_class">?What I want to do is to change the class name for each chile html so that I can use it to change the style of nave button only for the "current page". Thanks in advance, Toshi

Had an old version of dreamweaver and knew the progam well. Just downloaded the new and can't find the place where you put a single page. Icon for putting asks if I want to put the whole site. No, just and new or change a single page. 

I have been trying to set this page up with responsive div containers. While they are responsive, they do not respond to resizing when I change 3/3/3/3 to 6/6. Don't understand what I have missed. Also, when I put text in the 4th column, the div thumbnails distort. I am attaching a screen shot of the distortion. The columns all become very small and the containers are not lining up. I have a new computer and transferred my old Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 to the new computer using a download providede by adobe.I have a Go Daddy Account and use Plesk as a server interface. I set up my 2 websites in dreamweaver the exact same way as was on my old computer, but cannot connect. I can access the plesk server through all other ftp methods, so I have now idea what's going on. (Go Daddy checked their end.)Is there anyone out there with any help or suggestions? Could there have been some dreamweaver updates that did not get to me vis the download?Thanks.

This is my issue: I have to mail addresses that are receiving mails sent through this website, one is a gmail address and the other one is on the server (testmail@1alarm.se). When I try to send mails, they arrive at my gmail address, but not on the server address. I checked with the provider, one.com, that informed me that something was wrong with my code, but since they don't support scripts that they not have made, they could not help me. I am brand new to Dreamweaver and I am trying to get the "Open in Browser" option working. Currently I set up DW to link to my shared hosting server -- all seems fine with that. All of my webpages on my server are in a public_html folder. When I try to select the file from the file/folder list and then, select "Open in Browser", I get a 404 error. The reason for this appears to be because it is including "public_html" in the path: i.e. www.mysite.com/public_html/index.html How do I set this up, so clicking on my files will omit the "public_html" reference? 

Does anyone know how to add a facebook feed to a site? I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2017. I've googled around and I can only see how to add specific posts. Looks like Facebook has gotten rid of a lot of the plugins and such they used to have in order to embed feeds.

I'm not a developer but a client has a  smallish Dreamweaver site that's out of date and will need a redesign. Short-term it needs to be ADA compliant (by the end of 2020) so we're trying to decide whether to make the existing site compliant (and what tools are available to identify ADA issues in Dreamweaver sites) or if we should start fresh with a redesigned site.  Any insight would be appreciated.

Im entering midterms and working on a website. Just this week dreamweaver began freezing or slow typing. I checked if it was because of my file size and started a new one. It happens even before I get to the body. The window says (not responding) too. I know I updated it recently, but I'm not sure if its because of that... has anyone dealt with this?
