Dreamweaver

I have an old website that I built using Dreamweaver. I no longer have a useful version of Dreamweaver. Does Adobe still have the software called Contribute? If so, can I purchase a copy to use to make changes in the website without purchasing the whole Dreamweaver program or whatever you call it now?

I haven't done an ecommerce site since the new state tax laws went into effect a couple of years ago. I have had to turn down customers because I am unsure if it is worthwhile to attempt to configure an ecommerce site to calculate the tax of an item sold according to where the purchase was made. Does anyone have any direct experience with tax configuration in ecommerce sites using DW and the Webassist plugin (or other ecommerce solution)?

Updated to OSX 10.14.6 and Safari 13.1.2, and now when I turn on MAMP and try to go to http://localhost I get a cannot connect error.  Chrome and Firefox work just fine. I've gone through a couple of dozen fixes suggested by various forums but the only thing that will work is to use http://127.0.0.1   I don't think I am the only one in the community that has run into this problem. Any ideas?

Dreamweaver V20.2 build 15263. When opening Large MB .txt files (e.g. 18 MB) . . . . contents are not displayed.  The display area is gray, then white screen.  Sometimes I can see the beach ball. All small file size .txt files open and display contents properly.  

Right, any reason for the slow typing performance? Im typing our code here and there is about a one second delay - quite frankly - it puts me off the whole user experiences. I have tried no troubleshooting becuase my company pays just over £300 a year for this service so we should not have to spend our valable time experimenting with potential fixes.  Our version is 20.2 and build 15263. Anyone else had this issue, and is so how was this resolved?  Thanks

Hello everyone! I am trying to use images from onedrive on dreamweaver. I hover over the image code and it appears. If i try to change the file it reccomends which file or image to use. However, on the main display, the image is not being shown. I would like some assistance with this if anyone can help me.  

I'm currently running Dreamweaver 2020 on my microsoft surface laptop 3 and it is so slow it is basically unusable. I have tried the following: - deleting the temp files folder.- running in standard mode not developer.- running in Design mode not live.- disabling code hints.- disabling site cache.- disabling linting.My laptop specs are: Processor: AMD ryzen 3550U 2.10 GHz Ram: 16GBWindows 10Is there anything left to do other than un installing this app and using another text editor? thanks   

Cuando escribo codigo html, php o js en Dreamweaver y aparecen las sugerencias de codigo, muchas veces esas sugerencias se quedan congeladas y no desaparecen de ninguna forma e impide ver parte del documento. Incluso si cierro el programa, las sugerencias se siguien viendo en la pantalla, realmente es molesto y quisiera saber si hay alguna forma de solucionar este error. Google Tranlation:When I write html, php or js code in Dreamweaver and the code suggestions appear, many times those suggestions freeze and do not disappear in any way and prevent seeing part of the document. Even if I close the program, the suggestions are still showing on the screen, it really is annoying and I would like to know if there is any way to fix this error

I can't make any edits in live view 😞 I cannot place my cursor in the text,  the Element Display tabs do not appear. Any recs on how I can fix this?  

I'm coming from CS3 where I was used to seeing the files on the right to 2020 where they are now on the left. I've really tried to get used to the files being on the left, but still haven't. Is there some sort of setting that I can make it be on the right, and see the work space to the left?

How can I create .asp pages and have asp code writing support in dreamweaver? Thanks

In older versions of Dreamweaver there were simple pull down menus to set text size, font, size change, color, etc  I've just upgraded to Dreamweaver 20.2 and those things, which used to be easy now seem to require me to edit my tags by hand.  What am I missing here?  I've tried right-clicking with text selected and there are some menus (e.g., font) but nothing for size, color, and alignment, the ones I need the most.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi All - I don't use Windows often, but I'm hoping someone has come across this before and may have a solution.  I have a Win 10 computer that the CC App crashed and wouldn't update anything anymore. So I tried to uninstall and it failed.  So I used the cleaner tool and proceeded to re-install the Cloud App.  But everytime it gets stuck whether I download the package by instelf or if I try to download an app (ie: Dreamweaver) with the package.   Also I did check the log file at C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers and the log doesn't have an error as is like it was frozen too.   Any thoughts about what could be done to help get the installer moving again?

I have recently started coding with Dream Weaver again.  When I start to type the code, there is an extreamly long lag (about 2 seconds) for the code to apear on the screen. From what I can gather it has something to do with it trying to auto predict what I am typing.    I am running the latest verstion of Dream Weaver My system specs are: Windows 10 Home Version 1909 Processor: Intel Core i5-9300h CPU @ 2;40 GHz Installed RAM: 8.00GB   Is there away to get rid of this lag, or should I be looking for another option for coding to avoid the time waisted on this lag?

I haven't changed anything to my Adobe account preferences. (I still recieve prerelease mails, ACP's too...)   Please Does anyone has an idea ?... can't we subscribe for a mail follow-up anymore ? I have somewhat limited knowledge of web development, however, I am funding a new website concept and I am researching the best methods for development and deployment.I have used Dreamweaver in the past and would like to use it for develoment of the static content of the website.  The website being developed will be very traffic intensive, with lots and lots of video and audio being transferred.For the dynamic part of the website, I was considering Python, so in essence we will be using dreamweaver and python running together with dreamweaver delivering static content and python delivering dynamic content.does this make sense.  Everything I am reading suggest that dreamweaver may be somewhat slower when delivering dynamic content.  Please correct me if I am wrong.If using python for dynamic content, would you use Django as the framework.It is almost certain that dreamweaver will be used, just trying to figure out how best to develop the dynamic part of the website.Thanks
