problem with JS in dreamweaver

Lightbox extension for Dreamweaver MX2004

Hi, I know, I know - it's a 16 year old piece of software however can anyone recommend a relatively simple Lightbox extension/add on that I can download use with DW MX 2004.I'm no Web Design guru and my expertise is reasonably limited. I came across the Ajatix products (via the Adobe website) and downloaded their app, however it will not install and seems broken/not functional (pic attached) and so far I have had no reply to my emails. I'm running Windows 10. Many thanks  Sean

[Locked] .OAM file works In Dreamweaver application but not in web browser.

I have an Adobe Animate file that I have converted into a OAM. file to insert in Dreamweaver. Although the animation works and plays in the Dreamweaver application, it does not show in a browser. When I open the html file in my root folder it shows but it doesn't play/work.

Why can't I change the color of my SVG graphic?

Is there some valid reason as to why Dreamwever is refusing to allow me to change to color on my SVG grapic despte this being the correct colour when created in Illustrator and before I copy and paste it into my HTML document? This its the SVG code:<svg id="Layer_9" data-name="Layer 9" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 842.89 125.04"><defs><style>.cls-1{fill:#e0dddd;}</style></defs><path class="cls-1" d="M841.89,354.53H0V277.15c290.88,4.39,589-107.15,841.89,0Z" transform="translate(0.5 -229.99)"/></svg> The colour code asper the snippet above is #E0DDDDand this is the result I get a blur color. I am getting absolotly bloody sick of this software doing what it wants to. I'm the user, I if tell it change the color, I expect it to change the bloody color!

Hello community, I am new to Adobe Dreamweaver and just finished up my first website. In my website, I tried to have a section with my resumé included that I typed in HTML. Unfortunately, it did not upload with my website. Does anybody have solutions to this issue?

Dreamweaver 8 FTP error message

I've used this program for over fifteen years with no problem. All of a sudden my password didn't work so I changed it.   I have two sites on Go Daddy and one is listed as a sub-site of the other.  Finally, after hours on the phone with Go Daddy we changed the FTP address and determined the FTP connection was correct.  I have changed to the new server address on both sites and added a root directory to my primary site, and it is now working. However, the second site will not publish.  Not sure if a root directory should be filled in as I have tried many combinations and keep getting error messages.  The second site test is also not successful. See below. Can anyone help?

Working with 2 divs on the same page.

I am trying to  create two divs side by side. In the first div (left) there is a link with code to replace the content of the second div(right)  with a seperate page (login_new2.php) on the webiste. The concept would be to have a series on links within the left div to replace the right div with various pages within the website. CS3 - Licensing has stopped working for this product [CS3 is dead & gone, locked]

Directing to a Thank You page after Submitting a Form

My question is: How do I set up a Form so that the user sees a Thank You page after hitting the Submit Button, THEN having the Form emailed to me at the same time. What "action" needs to take place in the Form tag and Button tag? Thank you guys.

ANN: Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit) removes 700 fonts

Good news! Adobe Fonts added close to 1,000 new fonts. Yay!    Bad news!  Two font foundries, Font Bureau and Carter & Cone (excluding the Frere-Jones collection) are leaving Adobe Fonts, counting a total of 50 families and 700 fonts, being removed from the menu.     OTHER FONT ALTERNATIVES: Web Safe font-families, common on most Windows / Mac systems. https://www.cssfontstack.com/   Google Web Fonts https://fonts.google.com/

vertical align text Dreamweaver header

Bootstrap version in DW

Does the version of Bootstrap stay the same unless I upgrade my DW? Or does the Bootstrap can upgrade/change automatically while keep using the same version of DW? I'm currently using DW 20.1 and when I created a new page looks like it sets up files for Bootstrap 4.4.1. Would this stay the same? Toshi

How do I activate the braces match lines in Adobe DreamWeaver??

Hello everywhere. I started not too time ago with DreamWeaver. The question is when I am writing a lot of diferent levels braces, start to be confuse for me and check where is matched each one, result slow to me.  I'm speaking about this indent lines or braces match lines, that allow you see easy where is conect every brace: *The vertical lines that conect <div> with </div> or between every brace "{/}". I cheked all options and preferences and I didn't find anything. Is any option to show this lines? Because happen me a lot of times, that I needed to spent a good time to fix the design cause one of this braces was bad conected or something like that, make me feel crazy. It's terrible when you try to conect with CSS code for example.Thanks a lot for your attention!😊

Dreamweaver 20.1 FTP Troubles?

All of a sudden, starting a few days ago, I can't FTP from Dreamweaver.  At first, I thought it was my hosting company, but they checked everything with me and it checks out so the problem is not on their end.  Then I went to my ISP and we checked everything as well and it checked out, so not their issue.  I then downloaded a separate FTP program, FileZilla and I can FTP with no problems.  All of this is telling me that the problem lies with Dreamweaver.  I had no problems until a few days ago.  I know that my FTP settings are correct, as I double and triple checked them with my hosting company.  Is this a known issue that has cropped up in the latest version?  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Contact form is correct in Dreamweaver, and not when viewing live on internet

I had to create a new contact form, however, it's not 'acting' properly when viewed on the internet, however it does when in dreamweaver. Any thoughts as to why? An outside company originally designed and coded our website and the old code no longer works with the new platform our hosting company is using. Changing the Navigation Bar Position to fixed

Please Help Using Dreamweaver Synching With Host Server, "SiteGround"

I Built my Website in Adobe CC, Dreamweaver 2020. I signed up with Host Server, "SiteGround" so my Website could be accessed over the Internet. I have been in constant contact with "SiteGround" Support. I finally got Dreamveaver to connect with "SiteGround." I then was able to Sync my "Local Site" (Cavett Robert Website" with the "SiteGround" Server. However, I could not click on the name of my new Website, (http://positvreinforcementfoundation.com) because the Support Team at "SiteGround" said the Files I upload to them were in in proper Order/Hierarchy/Folders. They said my Files should be  "Your website's files need to be placed in the public_html directory, so the website is visible when going to "positvereinforcementfoundation.com". I have tried dragging, copy and pasting, etc. unsuccessfully. I even tried "Cloaking" (Freezing all Files so they would not resync to the way my Local Files Hierarchy appeared). Here are the "SiteGround" Support communicat
