responsive composite images

Greetings, I am a visual artist not a web designer. I have been using Dreamweaver for many years to create interactive composite imagery.  My coding abilities are rudimentary, and I’ve learned by trial and error and I am being made aware that the tools and techniques I am using are archaic or obsolete. I use slices exported from Photoshop to cut an image into individually linked composite components. These hot linked areas must  follow the contours of forms within the image. Since final web page must be responsive, I cannot use “hotspots” to link these areas of the image, the only option I have found was to slice the image in Photoshop and link them separately, sometimes there are dozens of these components.  Of course, the pieces have to be perfectly aligned, even 1/10th of a percentage off shows up as a line. Why does my email blast look correct on the screen, but off on a phone display

Here is what my email blast looks like on a phone:  It should all be the same width, but it is not for some reason. Can someone tell me in my code where I went wrong? Activation Code Required [CS3 is dead]

Upfront I'm aware that there is no support for CS3 or links to get a new serial number that doesn't require the activation code.  The question is – is this the same for CS4 and CS5?  I'm assuming that CS6 is the cloud base program?   I have paid my dues over the years of purchasing software year after year.  And its just gotten to the point that I don't use software like I did in the past.  So I have a real hard time having to pay for monthly subscription to use a software that I have paid for many times over that still works for me.    I would paid for an activation code or new serial number that doesn’t require activation.   Unfortunately when you are forced to go from an XP environment to Windows 10 then again you are forced to make some changes with certain programs.     I just installed Dreamweaver (only) on Windows 10 from our Adobe Design Suite Premium CS3.  No problem with the installation and

[Locked] Can not color specific tags using MAIN.LESS

Problem: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/customize-code-coloring.html# the information on this page is incorrect, unfinished, or, DWR has a bug.   To reproduce the problem: Make a custom theme using the page link above. Try to style a FORM tag in GOLD and a DIV tag in GREEN in a PHP document. Does not work. Adding Wordpress posts to HTML website, which uses Dreamweaver templates.

I have a website that I created in Dreamweaver, and the pages use a template for the top menu, which I developed with Bootstrap. I wanted to add a blog, and thought I would just create a blog in Wordpress and then create a page that pulls the blog posts from the Wordpress site to a page on my website. So, I created blog.php and added the website template. However, I'm not getting consistent, good results. My first questions is, is this going to work? Is there something inherently incompatable about using templates on a .php page? Next, where should I put "<?phpdefine('WP_USE_THEMES', false);require('wp/wp-blog-header.php');?>"? At the top of the page or in the editable instance labeled "head" in the template? Finally, what should my PHP look like to pull posts from Wordpress? I've tried a bunch of different bits of code I've pulled from different forums, etc., and nothing I have found works consistently. I've done this before with a previous website, but that

DW FTP problems

What is wrong with Dreamweaver FTP and transferring files to a server (any server)? Almost any other FTP program works fine - except Dreamweaver's.I get almost all possible errors with DW ftp:- hangs- waits- it skips files - uploads/downloads waaaay too long (for a 1 min job DW needs 30 minutes or more; If I want to upload a few hundreds of small files - for example, 20 MB in total it's almost impossible).I do have a lot (hundreds/thousands) of files (html, js, PHP,..) in a folder (subfolders).I am subscribed to Adobe cloud (latest updates), updated WIN, 100Mbps/10Mbps, 8 ms PING, comp i7/16GB/1TB SSD...). Everything else (Photoshop, even other parts of DW ...) is nice and works great - just FTP is driving me nuts.FTP is for a web developer the main tool. I can even code in a notepad - but DW is great because we can save files with one click on both places simultaneously (local and server). I did try a lot of different options (active/passive FTP...) but no luck...
