Dreamweaver

I have been running DW CC on my Laptop, but since I  upgraded my desktop, I would prefer to run it on the Desktop, however, I would like to keep it on my Laptop for when I have to visit with clients. Is this feasible without having to get 2 licenses?

I am trying to insert an animated composition in Dreamweaver. But I get the following error: The animated composition may be damaged. Import again using a different file.

Im not sure how to correct this. I am using a side scroll without a bar at the bottom. in dreamweaver it shows the same as chrome but in safari it adds extra space around it The error seems to be within this part of the css code .content {/* These rules create an artificially confined space, so we geta scrollbar that we can hide. Hello.   I have been a member of Creative Cloud since 2013. I have purchased a new PC and want to move some programs from my old PC to a new PC.   I have 2 questions in this regard:   1: How do I install Creative Cloud on a new PC, without paying again?   2: I have Dreamweaver CC Version 13.0 Build 6390 installed on my old PC and don't want any updated version - but want to keep Version 13.0 Build 6390.   I realize that it is possible to install older versions through Creative Cloud - but the oldest available version is CC Version 18.2.1.   My question is: Where can I download Version 13.0 Build 6390?   Thank you in advance for your response.   With best regards Jan  

I have my personal laptop and my work desktop. I now have an Adobe license through my school, so can put Dreamweaver on both computers. I would like to be able to edit my website on both computers, but is that even done? Would the two sync? Thanks, e

 In dreamweaver  Preview in browser   Hi all,I am just messing about with dreamweaver (hence excuse the design) and I am not sure why this is happening, but on dreamweaver I have created a table (800w) with 3 rows. On the top row I have a banner, in the next a nav bar and the 3rd row is an editable region. But as you can see in dreamweaver there are no white gaps at the top of the banner or in between the banner and nav bar. However when previewing it on the browser there is a white gap at the top of the banner and nav bar. Not sure how to fix this, please help! Thanks in advance.

We have an issue where we're dependent on pushing Excel spreadsheets for sitewide updates. The issue I'm having is the 32k character limit for a single cell and a few pages blow that limitation out of the water. What would fix the problem is having a way to dynamically attach the long path to the file while only having the file name in the actual href.Example?<a href="https://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/2Documents/Marketing/Catalogs/English/IndexedCatalog/xxxxx/xxxxxx.pdf"> If I could maybe have a class that would add the path and just have the file name?I'm not a programmer and know just enough to get myself into trouble.

On my dreamweaver at the screen sizes are not matching to actual screen sizes from different computers. It is not showing at all the same display.

Hi all,I have tried a few of the Dreamweaver themes, and many look nice, however I am having one particular issue with the cursor:When a text area is highlighted, and you move the cursor through the highlighted region, on some themes it's very hard to see against the background. Is there any way to adjust the cursor so it is easier to see (against the background) – Such as changing the color and/or changing the width of the cursor or something like that? Any suggestion for themes that do not have this issue would be helpful also. (solarized light seems pretty good) Thanks - dave  

I have tried launching dreamweaver cs5.5 on a new laptop with windows 10 and although it appears to have downloaded when I launch the screen doesn't display as it should - as it did on windows 7. Everything is much smaller and not readable 

I've been using Wampserver 2.5 on my Windows 7 computer successfully for years to preview PHP files in browser from Dreamweaver.I just bought a Windows 10 laptop, and installed Dreamweaver (19.2.1), imported the sites, and installed the latest version of Wampserver, 3.1.9.Everything works, except that images do not display in Live view (they do display in Design view), or when I preview in browser.The console in Inspect element in browser lists a 404 for every image, although the image exists, and the path is correct.It's probably some setting in Wampserver, but I have no idea where to look for it, and can't find anything relevant online.My understanding of testing servers is very limited, but I can follow directions, if someone know hows to fix this. I have the Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2019 through graduate school Stevenson University and I can not find the Dreamweaver templates that are already created by Dreamweaver.  

Problem:Essentially what I'm trying to accomplish is a semi-opaque rounded rectangle that just fits the navigation bar, extending in from the right side of the screen no farther than a fex px past the text when the longest list item is expanded by 150% while hovered. Just a little something to make the navigation bar readable over the page content, but I don't want it to cover the whole top of the screen. Background Info:On my website I have a fixed header, right floated. The text stays a few px from the edge of the screen no matter the size, which is exactly what I want. I am currently having a tough time finding a way to find a responsive solution to the problem of the header background only extending far enough past the navigation menu to allow the text in the header to expand.So far I have tried keeping the header at 100% width and making the div .nav_container only as big as it needs to be, then aligning it to the right side of the page using margins as both px and

I went to Site Management Advanced tab and clicked upload to local server box and saved.  Then, after that failed to show results on local site.  I restarted DW and still does not uppload changes upon saving in DW.  I still have to go Files Menu select file and upload to Mamp.  In the Files Menu the connection to local server is on.  Does not work with just a save in DW...  Anybody know what is wrong

In Dreamweaver CC 2017, I recently went to preferences simply to change background colour on screens to lighter grey as the default was too dark.The minute I did this and clicked 'apply', all of the code text turned to upper case throughout. I now cannot change it back. Any clues?
