When I am in code view, there the tools are, when switch to SPLIT VIEW, I can select the rectangle tool in the properties panel, but as soon as I click onto the image, GONE.

I just updated to Dreamweaver 19.2 and while I can get the Properties toolbar to show up - - it is floating and I can't remember how to dock it at the bottom.  Anyone willing to humor me with a solution?  Thanks.(Double clicking it doesn't work)

Is there a way to get Dreamweaver to only search in php files or another given file type, ignoring all other file types?

When I began using Dreamweaver it was called UltraDev. I had previously installed Drumbeat trial but only looked around and did not like it. It was a kind of code generator with had no code view and no way to know what you had built until you completed the project and generated the site, From this inferior product came Macromedia's UltraDev which became one of the best IDEs on the market. Then Adobe bought it because their IDE effort was a floundering train wreck. I remember having a sinking feeling about Dreamweaver's future and the thought: "I'm going to have to learn Visual Studio." At the time I was actively creating and selling extensions for the Dreamweaver MX ASP.NET implementation and was heavily invested in the Dreamweaver ecosystem.My bad feeling about the future of Dreamweaver as an Adobe product has born bitter fruit. I'm having an issue where I'm editing an HTML email template, and Dreamweaver sometimes removes the paragraph formatting and the content of hyperlinks. The link will still have the <a> tag, but the actual href content vanishes. Same for the paragraph style. The <p> tag is still there, but the style has vanished. Has anyone else experienced this, and what causes it?

Completed an overhaul of our existing website with DW. Trying to publish to remote server, but can't seem to see it. I get this message when I put in the site address "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.Apache Server at www.newavenues.ca Port 80"Can anyone steer me on the right path?

Site looks fine on screen using DW 19.2 CC. Using a mac mini with system 10.14.6 and DW in spit view. Can highlight lines in live view, and can highlight lines in code view. Cannot edit text or links in either view! Highliting in either view does not show up in other view at same time. Help?!

I'm trying to find a solution to embed our 3d models on each product page to enable the user to rotate, zoom and view the model however they need to, but not have to host the files on someone else server. The solution found here is EXACTLY what we're looking for, but I'd like the option to point to our existing files hosted on our servers as they're updated every night. Thoughts?

Hi I'm new to Dreamweaver even though I have been using adobe for 4 years or more. I'm not sure where to start on my project. I wish to provide information to people I work with on a website from a spread sheet that is dropped into a file every 4 hours. The employees will each need to login to get only thier information.  This will have to have some box's to display sales information. Is dreamweaver the right choice to try to do this with. Where do I start.  Thanks from a newbie in advance.  

ATTENTION users of legacy Creative Suite & helper apps,  you would do well to stay away from Catalina.   As other users are learning the hard way,  just because an app is 64-bit doesn't mean it is fully compatible with Catalina.   If you have any doubts, test Catalina on a 2nd machine first.            

I mistakenly made bootstrap-4.3.1.css writable and I don't seem to find the way to lock it again. Any suggestions? I prefer for bootstrap to be not writable as I don't trust muself not to mess with it...

Hello. Whenever I want to save multiple files for preview, I get an error message saying "Save all the files, including related files to preview". Like I just completed a pretend website, and all the sudden I wanted to add more pages. I name the pages with a .html at the end. It still gives me the same error message. I tried all the trouble shooting information and watched Youtube videos but they were not helping me well. I was hoping to get some help resolving this issue. Thanks.

Hi there,So I have an accordion that displays an icon in the open and closed states. The problem that I'm having is that when i place a hyperlink in the copy it adds the icon as well. The icons are set in the main wrapper class. I have always had green couler for my local files but not since I upgraded to win 10. I have had Dreamweaver 8 but now with this new win 10 I get a simple  grey on my files and folders (local) but yellow on remote. Otherwise it works and behaves itself beautifully.Can anyone help please. I cannot code so anything more simple will suit me fine.involving this situation.John

Hi,I'm using Adobe dreamweaver cs6 trial. I open any file, then click View Code. The program is not responding. The error message "Adobe Dreamweaver cs6 stopped" and the program has closed.I have reinstalled. Purchased a download and licence for Dreamweaver CS6 in 2014.  PC has suddenly developed a hard drive issue!  Is there anyway I can re-install CS6 on a new machine? Still have the licence key. Thanks.
