I am using the last Dreamweaver CC. Everytime I load a web page to edit, the PHP includes show up as the tag only. It used show the content of the PHP include in the web page (see attached). If I highlight the tag and then cut and paste it back in, it shows up corectly, with the content of the include in the page.Ideas?

It will upload correctly, only to the wrong directory on the remote server. Where do I change/set that? Thank you!   Amy 🙂

Hey everybody!!For the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to get my root directory to work. I've set it up on the cPanel site, I've set it to public_html and I keep getting the same error message. Please help I have an assignment due tonight. I'm using GoDaddy and I have set up a different log in on the cPanel site. 

I have a style.less file that includes a bunch of other .less files all in a .pre folder. I've setup the site to use the .pre folder as source and a css folder as destination. Yet when I change a included less file the compiler does not create a new style.css   What do I need to do to autocompile when a include less file is changed and saved?

Is there a way to color code PHP code inside of HTML files?  I've found solutions for older versions of Dreamweaver but it seems they no longer work.  Seems like this would be a normal, supported feature. Thanks!

My html page, which I've been trying to set up using Bootstrap, seems to be okay. I've cleared the Output file, and all looks fine. But when I try to look at it in a browser, I see the attached notice. What does it mean??? Any help would be appreciated! Rick  

Hi, During the Dreamweaver installer it stated that usage information would be transmitted, but this can be disabled.I have yet to find an option to actually disable it, which is putting me off even using the product. Can anyone enlighten me as to it's location? Thanks.

I inserted an image in Dreamweaver and I'm trying to add an "ID" to it in "properties" but it keeps telling me that I'm entering an invalid text and that only letters and numbers can be used but it can not start with a number.I do not even have a number in my text. I'm new to Dreamweaver (taking a class right now and it's my homework). I click on the image first and then type in text (ex. "karen"), then when I click "enter" I'm getting this message.  Anyone here know why I can't do that?

Hello, community, I am very frustrated and I need help. I have a project for a web development class and every time I open Dreamweaver 2019 it crashes. Please help... I have included the crash report as an attachment. I tried uninstalling all apps and the creative cloud then re-installing. I have also tried to run the cleanup tool and nothing has helped.  Thanks

I'm trying to get my head around what use is it to show the page you are currently on in the browsers url address bar in the case of a single page application SPA Example:/about/contact/products Is it purely for aesthetic reasons or does is actually serve a purpose? Who even looks at the address in the url bar when browsing a website? Any views?

Hello! I'm Marc and I don't know how to do something. Recently, I started working at a project on Dreamweaver and for a header I wanted to use a custom font. I've downloaded "Aqua Grotesque" (link - Behance) and I've put it into my project directory. I opened the file ("aqua.ttf") and I installed the font on my PC. In the css file I wrote "font-family: AquaGrotesque" because I went to "Manage fonts" -> "Local Web Fonts" and I've added it to the "Current list of Local Web Fonts" with this name. What should I do to apply the font to my header? Thanks a lot!

I have (had) an Adobe Suite (CS3)...I know, it's old...and my old PC crashed and is toast.  I know I must get the lastest programs at this point.  All I need really is Dreamweaver and Photoshop.  How do I recover my old license/serial number of the Adobe Suite that I purchased for hundreds of dollars so I can at least upgrade and not have to pay full cost as if I'm a new customer?  I installed the Adobe suite back in 2008 from CDs.  Those are long gone...  Help!

When starting dreamweaver cs6 I get the following:   "JavaScript error(s) occured: Unable to open script file c:\program files(x86)\adode\adobe dreamweavercs6\configuration\floaters\AC_OETags.js (error 2)."   See attached photo.   There is no such file located in the floaters directory when I checked for it.  Continuing to Press enter 4 or 5 times cycles through the same error message then starts dreamweaver.  All site manager info was missing for several websites and I had to go to site manager and set all sites up again.  Question is: Has anyone seen this error before and what maybe causing it?     [Edited by moderator]

How do I add space between pictures that are posted beside it other.  I do not have an option for border on my program that I can see.

So this is my very first attempt to create a website for my new businesses.  I have multiple complex artboards.  So...  1.  Do I need to Slice in photoshop cc 2019 before using the extract in Dreamweaver CC 2019?2.  I have two screen sizes desktop 1280 px  and mobile, 412 px         a. Main page 1280 x 8836  and 10,512          b. seven other pages with corresponding desktop and web with the same widths but vary in lengths, much shorter than the main page.3.   I want to it to be responsive, do I use Bootstrap in Dreamweaver cc 2019 new document? Any thoughts, advice and prayer would be greatly appreciated
